It was our first time and between the food, service, and music, it was a great night. :-) And our server, Dulce, what can say but that she was excellent. She set the right expectations and always with smile. The music/band, what can I say but wow. It was way more than we expected. Definitely a fan, and definitely will be back.

Came here to celebrate my bday ! Had such a great time ! The food was delicious , our server was spectacular and attentive. Each person in my party was told in advance about the tip being included. As most restaurants do so now days! Will be returning!

Know before you go. I wanted to support this local business. Como En Casa should disclose they automatically add a 15% tip to your bill. We were only a party of 2! What's worse is that you pay at the table with their hand held machine so no time to even catch it since it's not printed out. Not cool Fool me once! I will go on record to say the food was good and tasty. Appetizers very well priced $5-$7 and main dishes were $26-$30 avge Service was subpar and clearly they didn't disclose a 15% gratuity is already added! Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth no pun intended

First time there but will be definitely going back! Excellent food and a nice casual place. Wide menu But I stuck with the classics for my first try. Had Mofongo with the Carne Frita (Fried pork chunks ) Both were really good. The Mofongo was very flavorful and had a great consistency. The Carne Frita was crispy on the outside and really juicy on the inside - again very flavorful. Reminded me of a really nicely done pork belly. They gave me way more than I could eat for dinner so I ended up bringing at least a big lunch portion home. I found the prices to be very reasonable and the people they are very friendly. Definitely can recommend it if you're in the mood for some very good and authentic Puerto Rican food.

The service was awesome. There was a greeter, and the place was so clean and decorated nicely. Our server, Angel, was attentive, recommended us the best plates. We ended up getting the chuleta kan kan, fried red snapper, fried beef steak, and mofongo with churrasco. All were delicious and the portions plenty. Dessert was a chocolate volcano cake. Overall, great experience and would return. We loved it.

Amazing food, service and entertainment. My favorite is their mofongo dish. The plate is large enough for two people to share.

Food is overpriced for starters. Meat was extra extra salty and you can't ordered food for pick without paying it first. Ridiculous!

This place opened up in my local mall relatively recently. It advertises itself to be Latin food,…read moreto appeal to the masses, but upon closer inspection, it has a focus on Venezuelan cuisine, which is super fun. I saw it one day, I was oooh, and I dove into the menu. I ordered three things and split them. Tequenos (Venezuelan cheese sticks). These look like little pastry dough mummies wrapped around a cheesestick, and they are flavorful and lovely. Very crispy and flakey on the outside. Ooey gooey, warm cheese on the inside. If you come, you Have to get these. Tata's Tostones with shredded chicken (3 Tostones with shredded chicken, queso de mano, pico de gallo + green sauce). These were fun, like tostadas, but with a tostone base. A very crispy, strong base, that held up well against all the toppings. The chicken was very well seasoned, and there was a lot of it. The pico was everywhere, and was very welcome, adding some pico to every single bite. And the queso was a slab of cheese that added a cheesy chewiness to each bite. Just lovely. I also got something that I can't place exactly on the online menus. But it was a steak stuffed arepa sandwich with some pico, some shredded cheese, and some crema. It was very good. The arepa shell was a little dry, but when pico and crema are everywhere, it doesn't matter. It all came together in a deliciousness. And the steak, even though it was cut up really small, it wasn't overcooked. It was good. Get this. Just get everything.

The fried chicken wasn't bad, it had flavor and the tostones were nice and crispy. We didn't care for the rest though. The arroz con gandules was the driest I have ever had! The carne frita/maditas de cerdo had NO seasoning. I was so shocked! They tasted like unseasoned pork and oil! I was so disappointed because I wanted those so bad. The alcapurria de carne was ok, but nothing I would crave or come back for. There was no ac and it was like 90 degrees outside. If I lived local I would've taken the food to go but unfortunately, I had to sit there and suffer to eat one of the sorriest excuses for puerto rican food I've had so far. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately for us it was a big miss. The ladies working there didn't look happy to be there but neither would I if I had to work in those conditions! It was like a sauna!

The lady at the register was patient with me as I stumbled through my broken Spanish. She didn't suggest switching to English, so I must have been speaking reasonably well. So I ordered the carne frita (fried pork) with a side of tostones. When I go to any Latin restaurant, I have to try the tostones. Ever since Rice & Beans closed I've been on the quest for some good tostones. Piñones' tostones (no rhyme intended) were decent, but not quite what I hoped for. The star of the meal was the carne frita. It was hot, juicy and flavorful. I'll likely try it again in a mofongo.

It was super quiet inside the cafe which made it a great place to sit down and get some work done. The staff was able to ring my order up quickly and bring my coffee and food over. I ended up getting a cafe con leche with caramel flavoring and a cheese empanada! The coffee was delicious, however the empanada shell was tougher than expected and didn't have a lot of cheese inside of it. I also ordered banana bread and got the sweet plantain bread but that was actually still pretty tasty! They do have plenty of other pastries available so I'd like to try those out next!
