    Arepa Reina Pepiada

This place has the best Venezuelan arepas in Orlando. I have been going here for years (even when they had a different name) and the quality and flavor has remained constant. My favorite arepa is the Reina Pepiada with chicken, avocado, and cheese. Another favorite is the arepa with carne mechada (shredded beef). If you go to an arepa place, always ask for sauces including the garlic, rosada (pink), spicy or green. They also serve Venezuelan meals like pabellon with rice, beans, shredded meat, sweet plantain, white cheese, and arepa plain. There's also cachapas, tequenos and traditional Venezuelan desserts. One thing they could improve is keeping the tables clean after a customer leaves. The couple times I have dine-in the tables were dirty and I had to ask someone to help us clean them up. This is one of those places where you can go and eat an arepa at midnight. They are open until late.

Many choices for Venezuelan food around the Orlando area and I love hole in the wall restaurants so Arepera La Nueva was it! Not a fancy spot but authentic flavors, and deliciously fresh food!

Delicious Venezuelan based food. A very casual spot to quickly dine in or takeout. The portions are filling and well worth it - definitely get your moneys worth. The best part is that they are open later than most food places- so you have another late night bite that is much better than fast food. I visited around 10pm and was happy with my meal.

I'm new to the wonderful world of Arepas and after having the Arepas at Norma's Plant Based Cuisine in Altamonte, which are entirely vegan, I wanted to try some non-vegan once to compare. Honestly, the vegan ones at Norma's blow these ones away. The ones here had more filling, but the arepa itself wasn't all that great. This one was difficult to eat without a fork, but I appreciated the amount of cheese they put in it. The empanadas were a different style that others I've had, and they're ok. They were hard and not flakey like other empanadas I was excited to try it, the place was pretty busy for the time of day we went, and the food was good, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to eat here again.

I didn't know what to expect with my cheese not being melted but it is delicious. My arepa had two types of cheese and chicken. The garlic sauce is the icing on the cake. I also tried an empanada...a tad too greasy for my liking but decent. Prices are up, I remember when an arepa was $5. You'll be paying $10 for this one.

I am a huge fan of their arepas! I love the concept of being able to add all my favorite toppings. They always taste super fresh and I love that they're open until 1am most nights. Highly recommend checking them out for a delicious and convenient meal.

Used to be good , now they increase all the prices and cut on the size of the meal, the topical Breakfast criollo used to have eggs, now beside the $10,00 dólares the plate you have to pay extra for the eggs. This place it got very expensive for breakfast.

I wish this restaurant would be located in Miami - I'd visit every week! The portions are enormous; definitely more than enough to share between two people. The Chicha (not pictured) was so tasty and you can tell it was fresh. Everything here is made on the spot so there's no soggy food. A little on the pricier end but the quality of the food makes up it!

We were in the mood for some arepas and so we came across Arepera La Nueva. What a wonderful find!! As soon as we came in the staff was very friendly and helpful when we were placing our order which was great because my wife doesn't speak Spanish. The restaurant looked like it has just been remodeled and the place looked great. The table spacing was a little tight for my wheelchair but it was manageable and patrons were very friendly and moved as needed. The menu was actually quite extensive with options but we decided to do with the traditional Arepa's. The food was made fresh to order and was prompt to come out after ordering. The arepas were absolutely delicious. Very most yet still firm enough to hold the sandwich together. The meat was seasoned well and was delicious with the white cheese and other toppings. The black beans were also seasoned well and definitely did not come right out of a can. The last time I had such a good arepa was when my friends Abuela (grandmother) made them fresh at home. The restaurant hours are crazy cool (daily 7am to 4am). This would be an amazing end to a night out at the clubs. I would highly recommend them and we will be returning for sure.

If it was not for the bad service I would have given 5 stars for the food alone. Food amazing. Females that serve and take your order not so much. Treat you with attitude and are not very friendly. I have come many times and then there are men on the front counter they serve you well and are very nice.

This place has BOMB Venezuelan empanadas! I've been on the search for good empanadas de cazón and finally found a place. While we were there my husband asked if they had El Plato Navideño and to our surprise, they said yes! Let me tell you how that plays was SO FILLING and definitely brought me back to the holidays with my in laws. The plate came with lechón or asado negro, ensalada de gallina, pan de jamón, and hallaca. Everything was delicious and we left extremely satisfied!

Being part of the parking structure doesn't mean that they validate your parking. If you can find street parking, definitely do that instead. I had the churassco med-well. It came with two sides, I had the tostones and salad. It was alright, but I definitely had better. I ordered it to eat it there and they put all the sauces in to-go containers, which was weird. The sauces were in such tiny containers, you definitely would need more. My friend got the mushroom arepa and a side of the sweet plantains that she really enjoyed. Service was good. The girl taking our order was super nice and polite. It was more like one step up from fast/food and self-served. You order at the counter and they give you a number for your table and they bring out the food to the table and you clean up after yourself.

There is a bit of a language barrier but the owner was very sweet and helpful when describing her baked goods; they also have dine in options, as well a sandwiches! The empanada dough was perfectly crisp and light, with a slight saltiness to it, which helped to enhance the fillings flavor; my favorite was the beef empanada (i forgot to take a picture ). The flavor wasnt heavy tasting which I loved alot. I wanted to like the spinach one as much as the beef one, but it did lack the savory punch I was looking for. The guava pastry kind of reminded me of the chinese sugar donuts just with lotss of guava filling in it; super delicious and not too sweet! The dulce de leche was the yummiest pastry I had; its not like other dulce de leches where it just tastes heavily of condensed milk. This was so light and fluffy.

I believe their selection will change from day to day since they hand write their options. The last time I was there they had about 5 different versions. These are fantastic empanadas and ones I will get each and every time I visit Plant Street. My only complaint (and its not even a real compliant) is I wish they had some sides to go with the empanadas, like maybe plantains or a sweet empanada, and then a sauce to dip them in. But besides that I really cannot complain, these are great and very good. The last time my wife and I visit we decided to try 2 and share them. We chose the chicken and cheese as well as the Cuban. Both were really good and super tasty, and both we agreed we would order again. They were crispy for sitting in a warming oven, it was surprising how crispy they were. The chicken and cheese was chopped chicken mixed with some melty cheese. The Cuban was fantastic, and was chopped pork with cheese, a hint of mustard and even had pieces of pickles inside. Their empanadas are also baked, not fried, which I personally prefer. However, it was still crunchy and crispy. My only issue with ordering different ones is they were not labled. She put both in one bag so we had no idea which was which. Not the best for allergy issues or preferences, but we didn't really care, since we were trying both. Overall these are fantastic empanadas. This is a spot I would continue to visit every time I am at Plant Street. I look forward to trying all their different flavors. I highly recommend trying these empanadas next time you are at Plant Street. ACES!

Let me first say, they are absolutely delicious. The only reason I gave them a 4 is because they only sell empanadas and only have a few options. I have been to other empanada places and their options are massive. I would love to see more available here, maybe it's on a rotation, I'm not sure. They also did not have any dips for them. For the two we ordered I think a garlic style dip would have gone well. We decided to try the chicken and cheese as well as the Cuban. Again, they were fantastic! The chicken and cheese was chopped chicken and very good. I did not really taste cheese so it must have been mixed in. The Cuban was fantastic, it had pieces of pickles inside as well. This one would have been great with a mustard type dip to complete the Cuban sandwich flavor. But we would order both again and again. Their empanadas are also baked, not fried. I do prefer a fried but these were good. My only other issue was they were not labeled, she put both in one bag so we did not know which was which. The flavors were similar at first so it was hard to tell. It really was not until we tasted the pickle that we knew which was which. Overall these are fantastic tasting empanadas, and this from someone who prefers them fried. The person working was not the most friendly, and reading other's reviews, they must have had sauces and we were just not offered. We will however, continue to visit ever time we head to Plant Street. It is such a simple dish, easy to carry around Plant Street and just really good. I would recommend checking it out especially when you are at Plant Street.
