This is a cafeteria style serving location, with delicious food. For under $9 you get a large portion of rice, a selection of meat, and plantains or yuca. There are several different rice styles from: white, yellow, rice and peas, and rice with meat. Several selections of meat, and additional sides to choose from as well. The ropa vieja is delicious and always moist. My only complaint is that there isn't someone who speaks English or just isn't willing to let you know all the options. There also isn't a set menu with prices. Just a screen that rotates. I would love to try some additional items but don't know what some are or if I can mix and match items. This is premade food. Lots of it. I got here when they first opened. So much variety and because it's Puerto Rican, the typical Latin foods are ready to be served. I had the arroz con gandules along with pasteles and guava pastries. I've been to other Latin places in this style, but this is the most upscale I have ever seen. They run a tight ship. Very efficient. It goes without saying the taste of the food is outstanding considering it is all cafeteria style. Portions are generous.
