Thought the selection of sunflowers was pretty good considering it was the last day of the sunflower festival. However, there is room for improvement. *We arrived right at 3pm-at the start of the session- and there were no buckets available. *Not much signage-it's not clear where to go to pick the zinnias or get water for the flowers so they won't wilt while walking around. Don't understand buying the tickets for the sunflowers ahead of time. I would prefer it to be like Apple picking or similar-you pay for what you pick upon leaving. *Spigot by zinnias not turned on so had to go inside market to get water from inside the market to put in the mason jar that you must buy to put the zinnias in. *tip-bring your own bucket with water for the sunflowers Overall, a fun experience, but can't help Feeling like we were price gouged.

Decided to do the Sunflower Festival again this year. We went on the 3rd day of opening and there were literally no sunflowers. Most were cut by customers or the sunflowers were stepped on. What happened Argos???

Last night we came here to check out their Jacks and Lights event! They have a great farm here with lots to do. Delicious apple cider, donuts, coffee, hayrides, pumpkins picking, and more. The store was spacious and had some cute homemade honey, pickles, and jams. Lots of parking and I thought they were very organized running this event. There was a little pizza stand open too but most of the activities were closed at night understandably. The jack and lights were cool to see all the different jack o lanterns and how creative they were. Tickets were purchased online and a little too pricy for what you get but it was a nice fall night to walk outside and get in the mood for Halloween! Great if you have kids!

Went to the farm for their Sunflower Festival on a Sunday afternoon. Great open layout of everything and not too busy! Got checked in very quickly! Bought tickets online which you receive a discounted price if you do, and check in is a breeze. Lots of fun activities for the kids like a zip line, giant slide, horse rides, tractor ride, basketball football tire toss. Some delicious treats like their apple cider donuts, blueberry lemonade and even a nice on site coffee shop. Plenty of picture opportunities set up all over the farm. If you want a fun but also relaxing day out with the kids, try them out!

Not. Zero stars. 17.00 each may work for a small child's entertainment but not for anyone else. Boring and sparse would be good adjectives. Completed walk around in 15 minutes. Pumpkins from Walmart at a premium price. 5.00 or a lemons aid and 8.00 for pop corn.

One of the best places fo bring kids and have a great day. They have all sorts of things to do here and everything is immaculate. They also have a market that sells all sorts of treats. The crumb cake and apple cider donuts are a must try. They also have different playgrounds for the kids which the kids seem to love. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in what they do. Overall, you can't go wrong visiting Argos farms for a fun day out with the family. Check it out!

It was a nice beautiful Sunday. Just wish the sunflowers didn't look as dead as it did. Overall the experience was nice, place was beautiful & it was a very relaxing day.

The most expensive "farm" I've ever been too. 30$ a person? WTH is that. Over crowded. Rude. 0/10 do not recommend.

The manicured grounds are off the beaten path -- down the road from Bamber Lake. You almost have to know they are tucked away off the main road to find them. I visited while on a bike ride in the area -- going slow enough I guess to spot the modest signage on the highway. At 50mph I would have missed it. In about a month the first greens of the season (escarole and romaine) will be on sale -- followed by all the usual south Jersey suspects -- like garlic and tomatoes and eggplant and potatoes. The farm also carries local apples and other fruit in season -- grown elsewhere. Don't miss this real deal. The farmer will show you around and happily explain how he runs his operation -- from fertilizer -- to seed -- to harvest. I cannot get enough of real Americana. This place is a REAL farm, operating since 1860, and is simply magical. You will find only the most wonderfully friendly staff, the most sincere pumpkin patch that Linus would be proud of, and a memorable day outside in the beauty of nature and what makes farm life, farm life. For $5 per person, you are covered for a hay ride to and from the pumpkin patch. A REAL pumpkin patch; not just pumpkin purchased and thrown in a field with straw. Like, maybe bring a small knife to cut these babies free to take home with you! The ride around was super cute with how they decorated the property (I won't completely spoil it for you!) and allowed you to take in the little changes in fall foliage peeking out. For $8 per person, you get access to pick your own flowers for $1 per sunflower and $0.50 per other flower variations, as well as a corn pit, tractor tire tower, obstacle course, basketball hoops, slides, and more. Our 4 year old absolutely had a BALL in the corn kernel pit and the slides really tested his bravery. You could tell the vibe was less about posing for the most perfect photo and more about just being together with family and friends. The two food trucks on location had responsibly prices pork rolls, hot dogs, apple cider donuts and drinks, whereas if you wanted to splurge and be a foodie, they had a BBQ food truck as well. Again, wonderfully friendly staff and the hot dogs have been approved by my toddler. Cash is much appreciated here, even though they do accept credit cards. This is OUR farm now and I can't wait to come back before the end of the season!

Tip: Buy your entry tickets online -- it's cheaper than getting them at the gate! This place runs on a "park-and-pick" setup, meaning you'll drive to different spots around the farm for each activity. Apple picking is by bag size, not by the pound -- the smallest bag was $7.50 and fit about 10-12 apples. It was hot the day we went, so we stuck to apple picking and cooled off at the marketplace afterward (skipped the maze and sunflowers). The cider and donuts were just okay compared to other farms I've been to, but the apple cider slush? Totally addictive (even if it's $9 -- ouch). Once the sun eased up later in the afternoon, we stopped by to see the goats and chickens and hopped on the hay ride -- the perfect cozy ending to the day.

I have wanted to come to Hinck's Turkey Farm for a while now. You will find this farm in Manasquan…read morethat manages to evolve with time. Brand: 5/5 Started in 1938, Hinck's Turkey Farm is located in Manasquan, with the turkey mascot as the most significant symbol of the establishment. You will find it on the website, on the establishment, and even on the tables. This works for the establishment, especially for a farm-and-diner. Website: 5/5 The theme, Elevate Perception, works for this website. The wood background gives the website a down-to-earth feel as you navigate it. You could find the images of the menu items in a gallery in the Products page, which I find a good presentation of what to expect. The website also brings you to the lengthy backstory of Hinck's Turkey Farm. Wait Time: 5/5 The staff prepared my order quickly without any issues. Ambiance: 4/5 The food behind the glass counters look well-prepared, though I hoped to find more inventory in the freezers, from the turkey patties to the turkey sausages. Classic rock plays throughout the establishment, getting you motivated throughout the day. The seats felt comfortable and the large tables had enough space between them, from the lone tables to the booth tables. When it comes to the menu selection, they revolve around turkey as the central ingredient, all of which look enticing, which helps keep the food within the eatery's brand. I also liked the personal touch of the cartoon magnets lined throughout the establishment. Food: 5/5 I ordered the Thanksgiving Day Sandwich, which consists of turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce within hard roll buns, with a Hinck's Turkey Farm band of Black Cherry soda. The hearty turkey stuffing and the sweet cranberry sauce complement each other in this sandwich, making the turkey stuffing moist enough to eat. The gravy especially brings out the flavor. The buns managed to hold their forms, despite the moistness of the ingredients. Every part of the turkey stuffing had a well-cooked texture. The Thanksgiving Day Sandwich absolutely fits as the signature dish of Hinck's Turkey Farm, and I love how eateries have their own brand of soda. This, along with others, makes the images of the menu items convincing. Considering how the containers already contained heated, prepared food, the wait time did not need to be long, and the service clearly care about their food. The Thanksgiving Day Sandwich left me in a decent mood throughout the day, and makes it one of the greatest highlights of this review, alongside the brand. Service: 5/5 The staff managed to get my order without any issues or delays. Considering the number of them, they knew how to manage a continuous influx of patrons. As such, I had a good impressions with the service and the establishment itself, for it gave me hope that farms could evolve to include their own diners to stay relevant. Nothing about the service gave me reason to leave, for they handle the food with care. The service maintains transparency by informing visitors of their website about their ethical handling of the turkeys. Considering the size of the farm, it establishes a system of numerous staff performing many various tasks. One of which included refilling the containers whenever they became empty. Cost: 5/5 I take into account every aspect of this review when looking at the whether the farm is worth going there. Considering my travel through a highway, that makes me truly weigh on whether the experience was worth it. The service ensured that I was accommodated, the Thanksgiving Day Sandwich had a vibrant flavor, and the brand makes this farm stand out. My only personal suggestion is to include more turkey meat lots with 5+ individual turkey meat products in the freezers and less single packages. I would definitely want to try the other turkey men items should I return. I would consider the price ultimately worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars Everything about Hinck's Turkey Farm works for it (and more) despite its supposedly limitations as a farm with a restaurant. I would absolutely consider Hinck's Turkey Farm my first choice. Recommend To...
