You only get two sets of real teeth--- make sure your 2nd set gets taken care of by only the best!…read more In 15+ years of using Dr. Schwartz i've now come to realize that I had many cavities while using other dentists because I wasn't getting as good of a cleaning. I don't want to directly name my hygienist, since I don't know if she wants her name on here, but she knows who she is and I really have to give her credit for doing such a great job cleaning my teeth each time-- I certainly haven't changed my habits to make such a big difference! And just think, a good hygienist wouldn't want to work for a bad or unpleasant dentist. My time with Dr. Schwartz is short in comparison to the hygenist, but he's incredibly nice and I've had no complaints over any of the work that he has done. He pulled two teeth out as part of my invisalign treatment plan to make room for straight teeth along with two or maybe three fillings over the years-- all went very well and my smile and bite is better than ever. I've moved 7 times since 2006 and after one of the moves to the Baltimore area I was immediately looking into invisalign and the highly rated orthodontist that I found didn't do general dentistry but he recommended Dr. Schwartz so that is where I went. When I moved from Baltimore to Chicago for 3 years, and then from Chicago to New Orleans for another two years, I still flew back to baltimore for my dental appointments with Dr. Schwartz. I'm back in the area now and still seeing Dr. Schwartz with a mere 30-45 minute drive. If you live in Chicago, I'd still recommend Dr. Schwartz-- the flights between MDW and BWI are really plentiful and you can fly in for the day for an appointment. It's a bit harder from New Orleans, but still doable.

I have been a patient here for 20 years. The two times I went to different dentists (insurance…read morechange and location), I regretted not sucking up the cost and the drive to just come here. Dr. Levitas is a great dentist and has a wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Molinaro whom I know because it's his office and from personal reference, has given me advice and a reference that gave me the right information to make the best decision for me. Both providers have been genuine in their recommendations and haven't led me wrong in 20 years!

Was to have a filling redone, and came with the expectation that we would remove a wisdom tooth. He had seen my X-rays and I was prepped mentally for this procedure (very important to me). The extraction was the purpose of my visit and was agreed up on a brief prior "survey" sort of visit. Then he looked at the x-rays again, said the root was on a diagonal or something, and he would refer me to an oral surgeon. What? Wait a minute! Why am I here if you can't do what you said you were able to do - you had a chance to look and agreed. Confidence undermined!!! Pretty sure I don't want you to do anything! Why does the office website say oral surgeon but I got a referral to somewhere else. And the deep cleaning we also agreed on, got an appointment for a cleaning and maybe then do a partial deep cleaning but it was in three months!!!! Not happy. I was so hopeful. But if this office can't give me a new associate, I'm going to have to go shopping again....

It took me almost 20 to 30 min for doing all extra x rays. They took so many x-rays including panaromic x-rays (may be wide angles 4k) moving the x-ray machine all around my face. and also other normal x-rays. All they did without explaining why so many x-rays are required. Finally a dentist came and checked and left then another dentist came for checking how many dental caps I may need to have. They told me that I need to put caps and so many stuffs and they will send me the estimates. Wow! it has been more than 3 months or they did not send me anything except a billing statement asking to pay that I owe. They didn't even ask me for regular cleaning instead told me that you need deep cleaning but don't know when? I don't recommend at all. Hope I will get my estimates in 2 years.

The staff was not only completely impersonal but I had a dental hygienist told me that I wasn't experiencing pain, it was mental because I had had bad experiences at dentists before. He couldn't be bothered to be polite or pleasant. Instead he seemed to just want to be done with me in the chair. Everything was about how bad my teeth looked or how its my fault for eating, and I quote "too much sugar" after I tried to explain my decalcification issues. After he left the dentist came in, looked at my teeth with no tools and called out numbers to the assistant. I asked what she saw to which she said "you can find out at the front." Not only was she not personalable at all but I felt like they did not care about what I was trying to impart about my dental history.
