Given that we had already paid approximately $30, this was quite disappointing. Despite these concerns, we did not request a discount or refund, and we accepted the substitution that was communicated to us approximately 10 to 15 minutes after placing our order. On a positive note, the staff were very courteous, and the establishment was clean. However, I suspect that the items we ordered may not represent the best offerings on their menu. While the service was commendable, there was a notable wait involved. It would have been preferable to have been informed of the oat milk shortage prior to payment, as we might have chosen to leave at that point. Unfortunately, our dissatisfaction led us to seek alternative options, and we subsequently drove to Stockton to visit Peet's Coffee, where we consistently find lattes prepared to our liking. While we may not return to this location, I do not wish to portray it negatively. It is clear that the establishment has potential, yet our experience did not align with our expectations.

Thought of buying my husband a nice cake for his birthday. Live locally, wandered into this bakery. What a stuck up 30-something brunette waited on me. I have lived in Switzerland, Germany etc, and have enjoyed wonderful cakes and pastries...so I asked if they carried Black Forest Cake (for my husband's birthday)...she replied, in a condescending and ridiculing voice, we only have FRENCH pastris and cakes...but I had already noticed the Tiramisu and the Key Lime Pie (maybe she needs to check out the lineage of those!!), so I asked again and got the same haughty answer!! Then thought I might deal with the carrot cake, under the glass priced at $3.25 for a TINY piece, so I asked for it to go, and when she rang it up, she keyed in $3.75, when I told her the price under the glass, she acted as if I were lying and went to look and then said in a loud voice "Well, we'll have to change that!!" After tasting the cake I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! The frosting was mostly shortening and sugar and sickely sweet...I also noted that a SIX INCH CAKE WOULD HAVE BEEN $22 BUCKS... And there were flies, INSIDE the glass display!! This county is one of the poorest in California, and this insulting creep should be fired immmediately. Hope they go out of business! read more

You can find me here most morning. I love everything this bakery has to offer. Their homemade bagels are incredibly incredible. The pastries are amazing and so lovely to look at. They know how to brew up a mean cappuccino or latte as well. If you aren't an early bird for breakfast treats, they have great sandwiches and soups for lunch as well. I especially love the BLT on the whole grain baguette. This is a must stop for anyone traveling through murphys. read more
