Ordered: 1) Veg pakodas : These were huge, the largest pakodas I've ever had. 2) Somosa chaat : Very nice, all sauces were included. Suggestions : try adding some corn starch or flour to make these even crunchier. For the mint chutney add some more mint, I tasted mostly coriander. 3) Gobi manchurian: Excellent, I've been looking for a restaurant that can get this right. The batter wasn't soggy and falling apart, nice hit of chili garlic / sambal paste. The peppers and onions were still crunchy. 4) Chilli chicken : OMG, I haven't had chilli chicken like this since I was in India 2 years ago. I really miss this taste and will be ordering this again in the future (or trying to figure out how you all did it so I can try making it at home :) )!!! The decor was definitely of stunning quality, but what really sold me was the food and service from waiters. The staff were very considerate and stopped by my table multiple times, never letting my glass of water go empty - extremely attentive. This review is about the banquet hall. I would give zero stars if there is an option. Employees here are very rude and disrespectful to the guests. This is the second time I have been here and have had same bad experience. Food was removed way before the party is suppose to end and on being asked the manager said they have thrown leftovers in garbage, what? And then they had a highly sophisticated security staff who thinks of himself as above law and uses cuss words in front of kids, this guy doesn't deserve this job where he is suppose to protect people not attack them without reason. The spread was good with enough options for both meat and non meat eaters. More importantly, everything tasted fresh and tasty. This probably my three time eating here for lunch buffet and food is great but the service is no so great.Today especially because this time around i invited a friend and The was rushing us out when the time got close to 3pm but we arrived at 2:00pm and by 2:20pm they was taking the food off the buffet telling us if we was done yet.Then i was eating my last place and the lady servicing us took my plate and said are you done;which was highly rude because i wasn't done yet.Then they rush my friend like we need to hurry up and have you all leave because we are closed now and made her out her food in a to go plate.Worst feeling ever and i like the food but this maybe my last time coming to this place because of there pushy way of kicking us out.Not friendly at all! read more

Went to a 50th wedding anniversary celebration here Friday night. The place is reasonably nice with decent sound and video. The food was fairly mediocre - hot but not very flavorful. Service was a bit awkward as they do not seem to have proper facilities to handle clearing the table dishes. Also the place seemed to have arbitrary rules like not letting the small children dance on stage. I would definitely look to book a large event elsewhere. read more

Avoid this place. I took a TOGO order of Saag Paneer and Lentil Soup. First of all, i am a visitor in town for work so I requested a plastic spoon and plate. The restaurant did not have a plate and packed a spork. How am I supposed to consume soup with a spork? Second, saag paneer itself did not have any paneer/cheese and saag itself was very leafy. Bad taste and appears stale. Very disappointed with the quality and service. Please save your money and take your business somewhere else, this restaurant gets a capital F---. One of events, organized by the charity I support, was held at Aroma Banquet hall. The decor was very lovely and which raised the glam quotient of the event. They have multiple settings for the lights, that allow the lights to be totally dimmed for viewing on screen projections to bright chandelier lighting for an dance show. The food items were really very nice and fresh. Esp, the falooda kulfi icecream. Specifically vegetarian food was requested for the event, so can't comment on other stuff. read more

WORST PLACE EVER. I came here for dinner today all the way from Stockton with my family but we found out that there were bunch of drunkard were drinking and shouting. We didn't want to leave because we did 2 hours driving for dinner. They were keep shouting and the owner and staff were sitting down, doing nothing . Nobody called the police and nobody told them to leave. Everybody was feeling uncomfortable. Whatever we ordered, they took so long, we lost our appetite. Quite possibly the worst Indian food I have ever had. Tandoori chicken was pale - not the usual red/purple from the spices. Chicken biryani had little flavor, and even less chicken. Curry sauce was ok. All dishes were not heated properly. Warm at best. And the buffet was poorly organized, with a line at least 20 people deep (should allow access from both sides, and separate sweets from main courses). Aria banquet hall is surely a beautiful place to hold a celebration. We recently hosted our baby's baptism reception dinner. The banquet hall is beautiful with stunning chandeliers and lights, adding charisma to the overall ambience. The food served was good too! Our guests had some amazing things to say about the venue and food. Parking is ample too. Hassan and his staff were very cooperative, courteous and professional with all the arrangements. Hassan was pretty accommodative too with few of our requests. We were absolutely happy that we chose this place to host our celebration! read more

What a difference two weeks makes!! Since I liked the food so much on a weekday, I decided to take my family for the weekend buffet. Utter disaster, to put it mildly. The number of items was dramatically less, south indian rasam, sambar soups were missing. Dessert was down to one jamoon plus kheer. Fried chicken and fish were cold and salty while the chai tea was extremely hot. Rest of the food was at room temperature cold. Gravy chicken was hard and unedible for the most part. We booked this banquet for our event. It is little pricey but you will get all what you have paid for. The facility, food and service is The best. They charged all separate as we requested i.e Dholli, DJ, singer and horse. All done per the commitment. My family and their friend really happy, everyone enjoyed the event. There are a few Indian restaurant in BayArea that have nice dining and unique bar with high end drinks . Aroma dining is going to be one of those a few places on my list . We went there on a Sunday afternoon for early Father's Day celebration . We were the only customers in there. The staff were very nice and friendly . The service was excellent and off course food was awesome . We enjoyed every bite of our food . I loved the atmosphere that they created there and I hope they keep it up . The staff says that the food is made daily but it seems like it was made months ago. It wasn't warm at all. It was pretty much frozen. The rice wasn't even cooked properly and most of it was completely dry. The gulab jamun was way too sweet and even the tea wasn't good. It was way too overpriced for $14.99.
