For about two weeks, I've thought about getting my nails redone, but something keeps distracting me, and I keep pushing it off. They are still very secure and none of them have weak spots.! (I just washed my hair and had no problems with hair getting caught on my nails). I decided to look and see when I had them done last and it was June 27!!! This is easily the worst set I've ever gotten. My nails look terrible and I told them half way they look bad. I also explained what I wanted and they did something completely different. Then tried to explain what I didn't like about it. She explained that she wasn't finished and told me that that they were just I would like it when it was done. She continued working on my feet and made absolutely no effort to make all of the toes the same shape or anything. I paid $115 which is the full price for my service they removed the same services. I'm upset because she could have put more care and precision into doing my nails. There was not one person here. Just terrible service. As soon as I started to complain they brought over the machine to pay as if they don't need to talk to me about anything as long as I pay. Be mindful where you spend your money and the way that people treat you whenever a service that you're paying for isn't up to par. read more

Hidden gem! New to Texas and needed to get my nails done before a trip and my daughter and I came to Divine nails because it's close to my home and I was pleasantly surprised. NO NO NO NO. I will not be coming back to this place. I came here on a Sunday afternoon needing my gel polish soaked off and reapplied, eyebrows/lip waxed. I didn't go to my usual place because I knew they would be busy and I was in a hurry and it's very close to my house. She(Linda/owner)did the waxing first. I'm pretty particular about my eyebrows. I usually get them waxed/threaded every couple of months and maintain myself. I specifically told her just to clean them up. I assumed that meant to wax stray hairs and trim anything that needed to be. I assumed wrong. She understood this as making them thinner, taking off too much on one inner brow but not the other, and when I noticed a spot she didn't trim short enough and pointed it out she cut it below the natural brow line. WTF?! At this point all I can say is THANK GOD FOR EYEBROW PENCILS! Next was the removal of my gel polish. I had a couple fingers where she didn't remove some of the old polish. I can only assume she was in a hurry to help more customers. This irritates me to no end. When she trimmed my cuticles she put nothing on them to soften my cuticles, nothing. Also it took her about 30 seconds to do one hand. She barely trimmed any and I clearly had extra cuticles that needed to be cut. For the gel polish and waxes my total came to $52. Shocking. $35 for the gel polish is reasonable. However to butcher my brows and wax my lip was $17?! That's not reasonable. But perhaps it was my fault for not asking how much they charged. All in all this was an awful, rushed experience. I was really hoping this place would work out since it's so close to my house and not as busy as some nail salons, but I see now there may be a reason for that. Lesson learned. read more

I asked for Acrylic nails. My nails came out thick and lumpy instead of thin and round. When my nails were done, the bottom wasn't even attached to my nail! I asked the guy if that was ok because I felt like they would pop off. He said it's ok. To me $80 isn't just easy money to throw around for a sloppy job. Another lady who was there next to me said she wouldn't be back either. My finger tips were really messy afterwards. I did look at their reviews before coming here and some were good and bad. I would NOT ever recommend this place to anyone!! My mother and I went there a few months back for a pedicure and manicure, my mother also had a facial waxing. They ended up dropping wax on my mother's eye and she is elderly. Needless to say I was not happy so I told them I didn't want my nails painted. They just did a very quick buffing on them. While waiting for my mother I went to pay and they charged 195.00 for both of us. Way over priced. And then came back to me and said we owed an additional 15.00. I said you have to be kidding me, after you dropped wax on her eye!! They went to try and ask her if she was ok, no. Her eye stayed red for several days. The technician Ann - is very nice and does good work. The services & products are low quality for moderate pricing but I really liked Ann. HOWEVER the manager, Jen, was incredibly rude. My sister came in with me - there was a wait, so my sister left and came back. When my sister returned I was half way done with my fill. Another customer walked in right after my sister (with out an appointment). My sister asked my technician very politely/quietly how long the wait was. Jen then shouted from the other side of the salon "we already waited on you - now you'll have to wait on us." Jen then took the client behind my sister. My sister said that she was only asking how long the wait would be and Jen said 40 minutes. My sister left and went to a different salon. I stayed long enough to pay and finish my fill. With in 10 minutes there were two technicians free. I can't believe the manager treated a customer like that. I was appalled and hurt. I had been going here for awhile & I really liked my technician but I won't be back. read more

When you get a $100+ Mani pedi, you expect an amazing experience, which is far from what I got. I was quickly seated when I arrived, and a nail technician quickly handed me a "menu". I made my selection and they quickly started to get things ready. Disliked: My technician spend most of my session talking to another technician. The only time she attempted to converse with me was when she was almost done. May not be a con for some people, but I enjoy conversing with my technician. The massages were lacking and did not feel anything differently than what a basic pedi or mani would get you at any other nail salon I've been to. Even with all the oils and scrubs, it was not worth it. Mani was not done properly. Cuticle was not properly removed and the nail polish started peeling the day after my mani. Conclusion: I will not be coming here ever again. Felt it was a total waste of money, and could've gotten the same service and better quality on a basic mani/pedi that would've been about half of the cost in other nail salons. read more

I wrote a review for this place in November. It was posted for a few weeks but disappeared for whatever reason... So I will try this again! I love this place and hands down it deserves 5 stars. The customer service is awesome - which is refreshing- excellent customer service is a rarity these days unfortunately. They truly care about their customers and their satisfaction. They also have a customer loyalty program. Jenny does my nails and every time she is done I swear that it's my favorite set. They are under new management so if you have wrote this pace off while it was under the former management team, you should give them another try. read more

I am so thoroughly disappointed in the way that this nail spa has gone down due to recent management changes in the last two months. I have been going to this place for almost 10 years and the people there are like family to me. I have only continued to go with the new management because of those people that I've considered family. I can only hope the new management reads this because what I'd like to say is that PEOPLE that work for you in your establishment is what makes the place feel like family but your management can certainly ruin everything that's been built. I went with my daughter for mani/pedis on New Year's Eve. Normally I wouldn't go on a holiday because things seemed crowded and rushed. We had a wonderful experience. I hardly ever write yelp reviews but I am so upset about my nails I don't want anyone else to experience this. I got a basic pedicure 25$ and was told if I wanted my callus removed it would be an extra 5$ every pedicure I've ever had came with that included so I was pretty annoyed about that but I went ahead with the service. Vincent was very detailed and took his time which I really appreciated I hate a rushed pedicure but I also needed a full set done and it felt like they were in no rush at all. I was with a friend so I didn't mind how long it took at first. Then he began to work on my acrylic each tip was crooked and not placed correctly. Another women stepped in and tried to fix what he started by this time I've been at the salon for 2 hours and they aren't busy at all so I'm getting a bit frustrated. She begins shaping my nails and I'm told it will be extra for the specific shape that I want, once again I'm annoyed but I agree anyways. Alllllll of my nails are crooked and uneven I kept pointing them out and she is not doing much to fix them. Once she starts putting the acrylic powder the nails I notice how clumpy and uneven they are but it's been so long I decide it's not worth dealing with. She tries to shape them and make them look even but at this point there is no turning back and it's about to be 5. I wasn't charged for the shape of my nails and honestly I was okay with the shape of my nails till I got into my car and looked at all the detail. I started crying!! None of them are even the length of them is way too long. The thickness of each nail varies the polish is on my fingers. I was charged more than I ever pay for my nails and had the worst outcome. I'm a broke college student so $60 really hurts my pocket not to mention I'm a single mom and needed to get my son for daycare I didn't have the time to continuously correct or complain. I thought I could deal with them.. I was told my only option was to come back and get them fixed... Wasting even more of my time and not a guarantee that they will even look better. They are personable, friendly and still professional & respectful. The salon has a large selection of Nextgen colors & not limited or have one time only. I chose this place for many reasons. First the great Yelp reviews, it was close to home and they were open late Saturday for my spur of the moment decision to get a pedicure. Let me say I had a wonderful experience and found the people; technicians to be very friendly and a Joy to do business with. I was made comfortable, they offered me a drink of my choice, allowed me to use the massage function of the chair without extra charge. The young gentleman who worked on my feet did an amazing job. I had no idea how bad my toe nails were but he is a perfectionist and made them look great and they feel so much better. I will definitely be going back, no doubt. There prices are most reasonable compared to where I have gone before and if I had one request it would be to have a better TV show on such as gardening or HGTV. read more
