I've been going to this nail shop once a month for almost a year and a half now. Every time I go my nails always look beautiful, even if it's by a different nail artist. They are experienced here, kind and very clean. Some artist are better than others (specially the message part lol), but for the most part it's always worth the money. My only complaint would be that my name is never remembered after coming in so consistently. I find that to be careless and rude only because I am a returning customer. read more

When I walked in, I was happily greeted by (I'm assuming) the manager. I was seated very promptly and was surprised that I didn't have to wait. The place is super big, super nice, and very festive for the Christmas season (I'm sure this changes as the year goes on). Everyone was on point with the theme as the employees all wore red/Santa hats/anything for the holiday season. I just asked for the basic gel manicure and with the 15% discount, I paid a total of $32 (not including tip), which in my book is a pretty good price considering the care they treat their customers. Evan was the one who did my gel manicure and he was very careful and attentive. As he was working with my cuticles, he was very cautious and very careful and did not hurt me at all. He always was very attentive to make sure the gel polish was smooth on my nails. I'm definitely coming back when I have the chance and I hope they keep up the good work!! read more

I went to this place out of convenience because it's right across the parking lot from where I work. I liked how they did my nails, however I paid $47 for a full set of Nexgen with tips. I've never paid over $35 at my regular place. I was told they charged extra for the tips and a custom shape (coffin shape). Would've been nice if I had been told this prior, but fine. I broke a nail less than a week later and today I walk over on my lunch brake to have it repaired. They charged me $5. I've never been to a place that doesn't repair for free. Especially after I've already paid $47 and it's been less than a week. I have a co-worker who also goes here and when she broke a nail they repaired it for free. When I asked the lady don't they repair for free and she told me no and that I needed to be careful because I have long nails. Whatever, I won't be going back here again. read more

I hate to write this review because I have been coming to Aria since I moved to Richardson in December, 2018. So for 7 months.. Every 3 weeks I get a pedicure and dip nails. After today, I WILL NOT BE BACK! The owner who I know well is currently out of town, and his covering manager Nyguyen has ruined a faithful customer. I got here around 6:40 and they close at 8 on weekdays. The women that did my pedicure did a good job with everything, BUT the toe nail polish.. Since it was close to closing time, she was rushing and didn't clean up the excess paint still on my skin. Before I had the chance to tell her, she had already clocked out and left for the night.. so upon paying I showed Nyguyen and he even confirmed that it was not complete, instead of trying to fix it he said come back tomorrow. When I mentioned that's an inconvenience and I shouldn't have to pay full price for it being incomplete and messy. I asked for a discount or some sort of % taken off.. his reaction was "you're being too picky, and I don't want you coming back here". I said this is terrible customer service and how could he say that when he even confirmed earlier it was messy.. he ended up taking off the pedicure, after the women behind me agreed, and told him he was being grouchy . I will not return here, and will be calling the owner upon his return. read more

I tried giving this place several times to get it right simply because it's right across the street from my house and it's such a beautiful facility. However, the service is very mediocre and minimal. The last time i went, i went in for just a pedicure... and for a $45 pedicure i was expecting a much better job. A male did my pedicure and although he did not speak almost any English, he was nice. It would be helpful if he understood what i was asking though. His foot massage was pretty bad. He was rubbing so fast and harsh and he could not understand when i was telling him to slow down and ease up. The other times i tried full sets/polish change and the girls could never get the shape right. I had to keep going back because the gel polish kept chipping within hours of leaving. I've tried this nail salon 4-5 times and was never happy so i Wont be back. Hopefully the staff can upgrade their skills to match how beautiful the facility is. read more

So let me say I thought I found my new salon, reasonable and nice! Well now it turns out that they have either decided to become lax in quality because they're popular or I was just being super optimistic. I went in the first week of May, and Amy did my nails, and they looked fine, but when I got home I noticed it was slightly uneven and it wasn't super noticeable. But fast forward to a week later my nails started hurting when I would touch anything like typing on my phone. So I go and they tell me that I must've done something to my nails. My main issue is that I went at my lunch today, and there was a group of ladies off to one side just laughing and gossiping while on the job, it seemed like they were all giving each other manicures in the front. Then when I was being helped, they all kept looking over to me and started laughing all over again. I get that they're slow and they can do whatever they want, but I'm sorry there's something wrong if a whole group of workers can just sit around and gossip instead of working. read more

I was in town for business, had a miserable day, and decided to do some relaxing before heading back to the hotel. One thing you may not notice at first is the nail salon odor because there isn't one! I originally requested the Classic Mani/Pedi. Jimmy got right to work on my feet and gave me the best foot massage of my life. As I was sitting in the comfy massage chairs, another worker came to do my nails. I felt incredibly pampered, like a princess. Lian did my nails and talked me into gels and I am so glad she did. I'm back from my trip and they still look great. This place is ok but they seem to overcharge. I've been twice. My first time Ivy cut my cuticles up a bit during my acrylic fill with gel. I think my total with a Queen pedicure was almost $100. The 2nd time my total for an acrylic fill with gel plus the queen pedicure was $90. So the queen pedicure is $45 and an acrylic fill with gel is $45? That's ridiculous. I went to their website and it says an acrylic fill is $20 and glossy gel is $5 so they definitely overcharge for their acrylic fills. They do get you serviced pretty quickly but the overcharge is a mess. I will be going elsewhere. read more

Best experience ever! I came in not sure if I should do acrylic or gel and the manager recommended Nexgen dip nails. I've never tried dip before but I am pleasantly surprised! I went to get a gel polish change on lunch. I was advised it would he 20 munutes. Great because I get 45. Cindy did my feet and she keep picking at my big toe on my left foot. I could see what she was doing because there was a pillow on my lap but it hurt. I said something twice. When she was finish I looked at my foot which was throbbing on pain and it was bleeding. I said something and she tried to put alcohol on it. So I go talk to the guy at the front desk. He said something to get in another language and she brings sone blue liquid over and put it on my toe. No one apologized or try to make it right. I just left and went back to work. I will not be back. read more

I've had pedicures here that were pretty good, nothing significantly wonderful, but decent. I got my nails done today by Mindy. I advise against going to her. She doesn't listen, cut me three times, and seemed irritated when I asked her to file my nails down (after asking to cut them shorter). I asked her to remove glue from the pads of my fingers and she told me it would wash off in the sink. I knew better, and it didn't, but the owner/manager got it off for me. This place is amazing. I booked this salon for me and my coworkers as a work event and we had a great time! I called a head of time to ensure there was plenty of staff as we were going to a dinner right after. We arrived and they were anticipating us. The owner/manager offered a variety of drinks on arrival and had chairs already prepped for us. All the employees were super polite and accommodating to all our different needs. Was not impressed by the service received from the nail shop. I took my softball player to fix a broken toenail (broke during a game) because it was close to our hotel. Initially went in and was told her nail could be fixed and would look identical to her other big toenail. While she was getting her toe fixed with a quick polish, I decided to opt in and get my nails cut and polished before we headed back to Houston, Texas. Once I was finished, I made my way to check on the outcome and it was terrible. Desiree's toenail was short, wide and lifted which made it look like a snub. The original lady left, halfway through her service, waited more than 5 minutes to have a young gentleman paint her toes (he did not remove the black nail polish that was previously on toes). I asked if he could fix the acrylic to file down because the nail could not be extended and was told I needed to talk to the lady at the front of the salon. She attempted to fix the nail and started chatter with other employees, next thing I knew 10 technicians came from the back to stare and mumble. One of the ladies offered to rework the toe and attempt to fix but she was only able to file down and make the toe a little narrow. It was still short and did not look remotely close to her other toe. I was not pleased with the service and the lady at the front desk did make an effort to accommodate the mishap and discounted the service.
