Feels like home to be honest. Ariana Kabob is the ONLY place in Atlanta I come to for chapli kabob, besides my mom's house The food is ALWAYS consistently good. We usually order take out through Uber eats, and it never misses. My husband loves to get their nandos wings and mantu. Everything is always delicious. And of course it's halal Even though we usually order take out, Ive been to the restaurant twice. I'm not sure if the man in the front is the owner but both times he has helped us, and he is so kind. The food comes out very quickly and is always perfect in every way. I love the art on the walls, especially the painting of the Afghan girls in traditional clothes. And there is always the best Afghan music playing on the tv in the back. Truly feels like home.

I went here around 2 weeks ago. It was a weeknight and we were the only ones dining in. That worried me a little bit, but I was wrong. While we were there, many people came in and picked up to go orders. It seems like they were regulars. This made me feel better. The menu is big enough that everyone can find something to eat. Bread, rice, chicken, lamb, kebabs and the list goes on. If memory serves me correctly, my friends and I (4 of us) shared an eggplant appetizer (Banjan), 2 naan breads, rice, salad, a potato filled bread (Bolani), a tikka lamb kebab, a koobideh kebab, a tandoori chicken kebab and a Karahi chicken. I have to say that I was not a big fan of the eggplant appetizer but it wasn't bad. Everyone has different tastes. The Bolani was definitely my favorite. So much so that I took an order home for my folks to try. They compared it to Korean pancakes (which I actually did too). The bread was soft and crispy at the same time. The dipping sauces were yummy - one yogurt and one herb based. Soooo good! The Karahi Chicken had a great flavor and the sauce was delicious with both the rice and naan. The meat (all of it) was very tender and well seasoned. The only thing for me was that the lamb was a little gamey. For others it might not be. The naan was hot and right out of the "oven". The rice was so good that I probably could have eaten a vat of it by myself. It was perfectly cooked. I have to say that I was impressed at how well seasoned the food was. A lot of places are afraid to season their food and I always end up adding salt. Their food is seasoned perfectly. Not too salty, not bland, just the right amount of yum! I am pretty sure this is a family run restaurant. The young man that was taking care of us that night was super friendly and caring. He kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed and was all smiles. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. Not overly decorated, not loud, just kind of quaint. I would totally recommend this restaurant. It's good to support your local businesses and as good as the food is, I can't see a reason not to! Also, it's right on PIB and there is plenty of parking.

This is worth a visit at least once! I've been to this place a while back I believe there were different owners and I didn't enjoy the food back then. We decided to try again to see if anything changed and it did! To start, this is Afgani cuisine with hints of typical popular Persian dishes - Chicken Kaboodeh platter - $20 This is something I'd most likely get the next time. The chicken kabobs are not spicy and are tasty at a mild level. The brown rice is delicious and not heavy like some other typical pulaos/polos. The salad on the plate is just cabbage and lettuce - Chicken Tandoori Wrap - $13 The bread/naan was delicious and I can see how it'd be tasty with a saucy dish. The flavor profile was amazing for this wrap however, the chicken was either undercooked, slightly raw or they chose a bad cut of chicken for a sandwich. It was like rubber and very less chicken. In this case it was a good thing less chicken. Please note this does not come with french fries or any type of side; just comes with the wrap. I also wish they gave more sauce on the side or some type of condiments were available maybe a spicy sauce. I took a star off for this All in all, I'd definitely come here again for the chicken kabob platter but I think I'm scarred from the wraps meat texture. I also think the price point is a bit too high for the ambiance. However, if this reflects high quality ingredients (saffron) and halal meat being used it'd make a lot of sense. This is like a quick bite to eat type place vs date night. The food is fresh and delicious. I want to try the banjan eggplant dish next time!

Delicious. Very clean. Friendly server. We shared the Banjan (eggplant) appetizer. It was great. Surprisingly filling with the naan. Not too salty and subtle flavor but very delicious. I had the Tandoori Kofta Specialty Combination (chicken cubes and beef kofta with rice). The chicken and beef were both amazingly flavorful. The kofta had little bursts of flavor from pieces of herbs embedded in it and the chicken was incredibly moist. The rice was delicious, covered in an oil an very fluffy. My date had the chicken wrap and loved it. Thanks to the eggplant appetizer, we both took half of our entrees home, as we were so stuffed.

Plain and simple, the food is just awesome. Service was good and friendly. Our waiter took time to tell us about the entrees we ordered and how they cook each dish. Eggplant appetizer was so good we order a second one to take home. Lamb shank was tender and juicy. The flavor and meat just melt in your mouth. The sauce was flavorful but did not over power the lamb. Very well done. Goat karani was the best goat I've had. This dish was the star of the meal. The meat was so tender it was falling off the bone. A little spicy but not overwhelming and goes perfectly with the rice.

Nice little family owned Afghani restaurant. The owner's sons take care of the hosting and serving at Ariana Kabob House and while it is not top tier professional service, they get the job done. The ambiance is upbeat Middle Eastern music with nice touches of Afghani decor. My mom and I dined in for an impromptu dinner and were quickly seated at a booth. The menu includes a large variety of Afghani dishes including rice, kabobs and varied cuts of meat. My mom found her new go-to spot for lamb kabob for $20--delicious and well worth the price. The rice was also perfectly done and well-buttered. I savored the tandoori chicken with a heaping portion of rice and a small side salad. Excellent food and flavor.

One more TikTok influenced spot! For Mediterranean food they're not the best I've had. But their food is pretty good. Price is decent. I got the beef kabob and I like it. My friend's had beef and spicy but the chicken is dried. The server were really really nice and helpful. We got seated right away no wait. Everything looks clean and nice inside. I would come back if I'm in the area. My samosa is really good too. It's more spicy than the spicy chicken but I like it!

Delicious food! Went here for the first time yesterday on a Saturday night and the place was packed! I would recommend a reservation for weekends. The food takes about 20-30 min to get ready but it's worth the wait, everything we ordered was delicious! They have several booths and tables and a good sized parking lot. The ambiance is great for a family dinner but can get a bit loud

This is one of my fav spots for Afghani food. It's delicious. I get the koobideh dish :) it comes with rice and salad. I tried the appetizer of bagan (eggplant) with naan bread. That's delicious also. During month of Ramadan, they do have a spot in the back for prayer, if this is helpful for anyone.

I accidentally stopped by at this place and for the first time I tried Afghanistan food. I ordered lamb kabob and it was delicious. Cooked just right. The place is fairly new. I also tried the green tea and deserts. I would recommend this place for high quality food and service. read more

The best rice everrrr if you are familiar with bukhari it tastes the same !!! The quality of the restaurant is so good .. it does not feel like you are eating Americans food , it tastes the same as in my home country ! I was so surprised after two years , I had found restaurant like this in atlanta . It's worth the visit and It became my favorite Mediterranean Restaurant. Ariana Kabob House is a nice little family owned restaurant that sits in a shopping center off of Peachtree Industrial Blvd. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and seated. The menus along with water were brought out within seconds. The restaurant offers a simple, one page menu which consists of various kabobs for entrees. The entrees are served with rice and a salad. There are several appetizers and desserts as well. I got the lamb kabob entree which was juicy and cooked perfectly. The rice could have been seasoned a little more to mimic the traditional Afghani cumin rice. I also got the veggie samosa as an appetizer. It was basically a Punjabi samosa but the chutney on the side was delicious! It was also a significant portion (3 huge samosas) for $4.99! The chai was also a nice addition to my meal. read more

Dined into this new spot, my family really enjoyed the food. They definitely make it fresh, so food coming out takes some time- but it's totally worth it. The kabuli pulao was very good, banjan-eggplant was perfect. Kabobs were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. We would def come back for their food. Don't order this, it was $7.99 for each and literally is straight up broth and herbs sprinkled on top. It is salty and has no flavor. We thought we would be getting little pieces of lamb in the soup. Maybe that's our fault for calling to ask before ordering but they should but a picture and description for this because it is very misleading. read more

I hate to be a downer, but I didn't have a great experience. Firstly, you pay Rumi's lunch prices for eating in a very Subway-esque ambiance with plastic plates and you order at the counter. I assisted Afghan refugees as a volunteer and I was introduced to such an extraordinary cuisine. Fluffy, fragrant, and visually beautiful pulao, succulent chunks of melt in your mouth beef & lamb, mantu, kofta, baijan, lovely breads, and lots more. What I received at Ariana was a pitiful and overpriced example of a very vibrant cuisine. The outrageously priced $16 pulao consisted of stale (no joke) basmati that was either left overnight or refrigerated and then stir fried in oil and topped with some raisins and carrot shreds. Pulao is a point of pride and is always fresh, fragrant, and addictive. I barely ate more than 3 bites of this stiff and sad rice. The kebab at almost $20 was one skewer and 25% of the meat was very sinewy and gristly. The other 75% was mostly forgettable. The meals do not come with bread or a veg side. The guy working there when I ordered didn't have the personality to deal with customers. Hopefully, they will improve as Afghan cuisine is amazing when cooked with care and love. read more

I love afghani food and this is the only afghani restaurant in Atlanta! The food is definitely tasty but could be a little better for the price. Food is made fresh to order here with a casual ambiance. The goat Karahi and chicken kabobs were my favorite and the rice is really tasty. The koobideh was pretty dry and bland. My favorite dish to try at afghani restaurants is mantu but they didn't have it on the menu. It's a nice casual restaurant thats unique to the Atl area, give it a try if you happen to be in the area. read more

I came here for lunch and ordered a plate that had a beef koobideh kabob and chicken tikka kabobs. It came with a special rice with carrots and raisins. There was a little side salad, too. My meal was really filling and good, but a little on the pricy side. The owner was really nice and very attentive. I'd love to come back and try more things. read more

This place has become my go to dinner place!!! One day I stopped here to get take out because it was new and looked cool. We ended up loving it so much we went back 2 days later and now we go here weekly. The owner of this place is super genuine and you can tell he really enjoys providing authentic Afghani food to the masses. The food tastes super fresh, has loads of flavor and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend trying this place at least once, you'll be hooked! read more

Our family Had a very great Mother's Day lunch at ARIANA. The food was excellent, service was above excellent. We were a party of 2 adults, 2 kids and were suggested the platter. Excellent choice for first timers. We also had the eggplant appetizer, which was a treat. It came with Nan. The platter came with 4 different kind of meat. Do ask for the spicy home made sauce. Wasn't that spicy, but made the food more flavor full. Food was more than enough for us. Overall a great experience and all of unanimously agreed we have a great time.. I went here the other day and it was delicious! At first I was hesitant about going here because it was new but I'm glad that I did! The meat was so juicy and fresh & it taste like it just came off the grill and I would recommend. I got the nando half chicken and it wasn't dry at all & the sauce that goes on top of it it's amazing, and the other thing I got was chicken and beef combo plate. read more

The best Afgani food in Atlanta! The service is exceptional and the owner is always willing to go the extra mile to please the customer. I have catered from them multiple times and have always been impressed by the service and quality of the food. The owner made a tray of Mantu upon request which all our guests devoured. I grew up in Kabul as an expat and long for great afghan food here and there. Willing to go far for it. Had a soccer tournament close by so this was an unexpected find and an awesome one!! Spectacular quabuli palau and kebob, eggplant and chopli kebob. Super nice staff and my kids LOVED the food! Go there and eat there! read more

Authentic flavor with a traditional Afghan ambiance. The kabobs are both bursting with flavor and extremely moist. The Naan is fresh and mild. The tandoori chicken is juicy and properly seasoned with no overpowering notes. This is how you make food. read more

First time trying out the food and it was delicious !!!!! We ordered the large lunch platter for 4 people . It came with lamb , chicken , and ground beef kabobs along with rice and salad . The meat was succulent and cooked medium well . It tasted great ! We also enjoyed a white sauce and a chill sauce . Service was good. Would go back again ! read more

This is our first time trying afghani food. Ariana Kabob House was great!! We are vegetarian and they have some delicious vegetarian choices!! We tried the sambosa and another eggplant dish with naan. If you like mint and cucumber then you must try doogh. It's a yogurt drink...very yummy!! Customer service was great, too!! However, they can work on making the naan softer. But, we will definitely go back!! read more

My background is Afghan and I can honestly say that this place had the most authentic Afghan food I've ever tasted. Just like grandma's cooking! I ordered the goat kabob and chicken karai, both delicious and had great portions. However, I think I was most impressed with the Afghani bread. The shape, texture, and taste was exactly as it is in Afghanistan. On top of the great food, you probably will not fine better hospitality in this area. Afghans are known for being great hosts and this restaurant measured up to that expectation. Towards the end of our meal, the owner was kind enough to offer us free sweets. My family and I had a great experience and we highly reccomend it! read more

There was another couple that was seated already. A server finally came out to deliver foods, don't even acknowledge us, and after putting her foods down, walked away. I had to stop her and asked if we seat ourselves. No hello, welcome, or anything. She didn't smile and only gestured something and walked away. We were confused and walked back to the other side where a man was at the register finally. We asked him the same thing and he went to go get the server lady. She finally took us to our booth. Again, didn't ask us if it's our first time, if we had any questions, nothing. The didn't let the lack of enthusiasm deter my mood because I am there to try out the foods. It took forever for the server to come back to get our order. Foods did arrived in a reasonable amount of time, big proportions, and everything tasted as good as it looks. Took us 2 hours from beginning to end dining there even though there were only 3 couples eating there, including us, during lunch on a Wednesday. That's how slow service was. I can't even imagine how it'll be during a big crowd on weekend nights. The prices were on the same level as Delbar and Rumi's. However, the other restaurants has top notch service. The service here acts as if we're doing them a favor by paying them for the foods. I will probably not come here again even though it's close to my area. If it still stands by next year, I will probably give them another chance.

This is hands down the best Afghan cuisine style food I've had in a very long time. I highly recommend the eggplant appetizer. It was sooooo delicious!!! This is one of those hole in the wall places that people easily overlook. It's a small family owned restaurant, and the food here is sooooooo amazing!!! The presentation of the food is also very beautiful! Their hot flatbread, specialty rice, kabab's, and hot tea is so delicious! The food was all so good that I wanted to lick my plate. I'm seriously not exaggerating either. Everything we had here was AMAZING! Their portions are very generous and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food that you get. I am sitting in the restaurant right now writing this review.... this is my first time writing one. The food is so UNBELIEVABLY good that I had to pull my phone out to write this. I am so stuffed because of the enormous portions that I can't breathe! I really enjoy red meat and the lamb tikka hit the spot! I recommend getting it medium cooked. You have to order afghan bread with anything you order. If you're looking for a good, romantic Kabob spot, then this is the one for you! I'd give 6 stars if I could! The owner is awesome. read more
