Great atmosphere, we were seated immediately at the time of our reservation, fantastic, attentive, kind service, the food was incredible. Highly recommend the focaccia, aglio e olio, Calabrian fries, and agnolotti. We will be coming back shortly to try out their new summer menu items!

My girlfriend and I went for Valentine's Day. They had a special menu, and the food was incredible! I honestly can't believe the ratings are so low on here. I ordered the steak, and it and the potatoes were spectacular! She loved her shrimp scampi, and the dessert just about knocked us out.

We tried this restaurant for the first time while staying in the Auburn University hotel. We were seated right away for dinner. Our server was kind of slow at times. He would take our order and then disappear and then we would be waiting on the drinks and food. There were times when I wanted to order a second drink and he was nowhere to be found. They need to work on improving their service overall. As for the food, we ordered their Margherita pizza, which was delicious as you can see in the photos below. We also tried their old fashioned drink, which didn't disappoint either. Then we tried their Calabrian fries, which come with garlic, rosemary, and some other herbs/spices. They were one of the best French fries I've had so I highly recommend them. The restaurant itself is very nice from the inside and there's ample seating available. Next time I look forward to trying some other items on the menu.

My companion and I decided to try this hotels Italian place. We parked at the parking deck next door and walked over to the hotel. We were met by the hostess and immediately seated. We made reservations, but they were not necessary on this Tuesday night. The waitress approached us quickly and took our drink order. We ordered the Buratta and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was nicely dressed, but unfortunately, did not have any anchovies. The Barada was delightful and came with spiced butter apples. Our Porchetta and piccata arrive shortly there after and we're OK. I was disappointed in the Porchetta because it is supposed to be one of the 100 dishes to try and Alabama. It was pedestrian. Do you know how sometimes pork has a real pork flavor? Like it tastes like you would think pig would taste, but not the good way. Unfortunately that was the Porchetta and I'm not sure if I blame the chef or if it was just one of those pigs. The chicken piccata was fine but very lemony and the chicken breast was very small. The pasta was fine, but it was not wonderful. it definitely did not taste fresh made. I ordered the Affogato and my companion ordered the apple tart. Unfortunately, the espresso arrives, but no ice cream. The waitress noticed the problem and immediately brought a new espresso when the ice cream arrived. I had hoped to have the dish prepared in the back with a side of espresso, but alas, that was not my fate. The Affogato was serviceable, but not terrific. really disappointed that such a simple dessert did not have a strong vanilla flavor. The Apple tart was tasty, but the orange crust was a little bit heavy and conflicted with the apples. My companion and I were disappointed in the meal. I will give the place another try at some point.

One of the best meals of my life!! The service was TOP-Notch! I got the agnolotti and caesar salad and the flavors were perfect. I ended the meal with their coffee amaretto gelato and I truly have never been more impressed. Very authentic and delicious. I will definitely return!!

OMG! Quite possibly the most decadent breakfast I have ever eaten!!!! We stayed at The Hotel at Auburn University while taking our son to visit. I'll have to review the hotel in a separate review but our stay was amazing!!! Included in our stay was breakfast at Ariccia and I cannot say enough great things about it. I had the Frittata on the first day and the tomatoes and all of the vegetables were very well done.... But on the second morning I had the Monte Cristo and was just blow away! I typically don't go for such a comfort food/crazy high caloric food but I decided we're on vacation and yolo so let's just dot it!!! I'm so happy I did, I was crunchy and cheesy and sweet and just all sorts of incredible. I can't even begin to describe the explosion of flavor that came from this sandwich. It was sweet and savory all at the same time. Oh and the decor of the patio are was perfect. It was so relaxing to be sitting outside in the morning and just taking everything in. AND it's pet friendly!!!! The table next to us had a beagle puppy who was so adorable and friendly and made my morning!

Food is a solid 7-8/10. Upscale vibe. Good for a date night. Spaghetti aglio olio is perfection.

The service here is terrible and the food is mediocre at best. Go somewhere else. There are so many fabulous restaurants in Auburn.

You need all three to build on. I got a slice of "NY style". Would it hurt to put some sauce on it? Crust was fine, cheese was ok, but dry isn't the way to go guys. The up charge for what was two small tomato slices was honestly embarrassing. The sauce would have made a big difference. The sub I got was fine, but an inattentive waitress caused it all to be barely warm (the pizza slice was barely warm and baked sub was cold). I was just about to pay for my drink and leave. It's a slice and a sub, I watched a table order a whole pie and have it delivered before my meal. The wait staff was busy talking and complaining of boredom in a booth right in front of me, while one older woman was hustling all over the restaurant. I think I've reviewed them before, as I come here for business often. A little hustle and leadership would go far in the customer experience here. No drink check, and now I wait to pay.....and wait.....and wait. If you are a fan of barely warm, strip mall mediocrity and have time to wait for service in between the seat time of the staff...drop on by. The three stars are generous based on my view as I think it could be a great spot.

The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and cozy--definitely a good setup for a casual bite. Ordered the Johnny's Deluxe pizza, adding black olives to an already stacked lineup of sausage, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, beef, Canadian bacon, and pepperoni. While it came out hot and cooked just right, it lacked the bold flavor you'd expect from such a loaded pie. If anything, it reminded me of something you'd grab from a gas station--not bad, just a little underwhelming. On the bright side, the service was fast, and the staff--mostly college students--were friendly and polite. Overall: Good location, great vibes, and solid service. The pizza didn't blow me away, but I'd be open to trying other menu items next time.
