I was extremely -- and pleasantly -- surprised to find Miller's on Broadnax! I've been having lunch with coworkers who told me there weren't many good restaurants in Dadeville, and in previous days we'd driven quite a ways just to find decent food. So when I did a quick search and saw Miller's only five minutes from my worksite, I figured I'd give it a shot. I honestly wasn't expecting much. From the outside, the place looked surprisingly classy, and inside I was greeted and seated right away. My hostess -- who also turned out to be my waitress -- recommended the special of the day: a three-bone rib plate. That sounded good, so I ordered it with tangy coleslaw. She also suggested I try their bacon bourbon topping on the ribs. I'm usually a dry-rub guy, so I asked for the sauce on the side. When my food came out, I actually got four ribs -- and let me tell you, they were amazing. Probably the best ribs I've had this side of Memphis, Tennessee. I ate them dry but dipped into that bacon bourbon sauce every few bites, and before I was done I was tempted to lick the bowl clean. It was that good. The slaw, on the other hand, wasn't quite as tangy as I'd hoped -- a little underwhelming next to those incredible ribs -- but overall, the meal was fantastic. My waitress, Chloe (I hope I've got the name right!), was friendly, attentive, and kept my Dr. Pepper filled the entire time -- which always makes me happy. I thanked her for the recommendation and told her I'd definitely be back. I can't wait to bring my coworkers next time and show them what they've been missing at Miller's on Broadnax! read more

TWO DAYS before our 50th high school reunion, Miller's canceled our reservation. The "alternatives" they offered were pitifully inadequate. There would have been no room for the band we had already hired, no place to set up tables for memorabilia, no way to display the slide show honoring our classmates who have passed away. To add insult to injury, they are now rewriting the script and trying to pretend WE were unreasonable. I will never cross their threshold again. read more

Service was excellent and 4 of 5 loved their food. Shareable onion rings were 11 dollars for 5 or 6 onion rings??? About 2 dollars a ring? Boondoggle was big hit as was mushroom burger and chopped steak special. read more

Service is slow - we had a party of 9, it took 30 minutes to get a table, another 10 minutes to give our drink orders, 8+ minutes to get the drinks - you get the idea. Food quality varied by what was ordered - my wings were cold by the time I got them. They automatically charge 20% gratuity to parties 6 or more so I guess there was no incentive to move fast. Braves games started when we sat down, was in the 8th inning when we got the check. Has a lot of potential to be a nice place but the execution was very poor. read more

The atmosphere is good. The owners have taken an old building and renovated it. This renovation seems to have started a revitalization of the town square of Dadeville, which is great. This restaurant was previously in another part of town and was called Fusion. It was a much smaller place, but was always busy. The food was amazing and we looked forward to going there each time we came into town. The sauces were amazing and there was a special that was always to die for. After the owner moved the restaurant, something shifted. I'm not sure what it was. Maybe it's the difficulty in getting workers? Maybe the kitchen is too big now? Maybe they are trying to serve too many people with the size of the restaurant? But, the food just isn't as good since the move. We could have just hit it on a bad night? It took forever to get our food after we ordered and some of our food wasn't hot when it arrived. The waitress seemed to be waiting on the entire side of the restaurant we sat on and was spread really thinly. I believe she did her best with what she had. Had lunch at this business today!Food was adequate but portions were small. Did not realize until I got my bill that I was charged $5.00 for an extra plate.Maybe this excessive charge was on the menu but I don't recall seeing it nor did the waitress mention it. Today we sat at the bar to grab drinks and lunch. The owner and our waitress took excellent care of us the whole time, consistently checking to make sure everything was good and that we didn't need anything. We shared the buffalo chicken dip which was good, but the real prize was the BLT sandwich with Cajun-spiced fries. Wish we had had the time to stay longer to watch a game on the nice big screen behind the bar. We were extremely pleased with this visit and we will definitely be back! read more

Randomly stopped in this little gem on our way home to Birmingham from Auburn. It will be our go to stop from now on! The epitome of small town hospitality, this little "dive" has delicious homemade sauces, a unique variety of hand-pattied burgers (I had the Dilly Dill Special- cheeseburger w/friend pickles, pickle slices and a homemade dill mayo). Give its 5 food was great would come back when that area. Staff was friendly but short staffed with effected the speed and service, so hard to get a real feeling for what they could do . The window unit was doing all it could do in the high heat we was have that day. So it was little warm to my taste inside when I eat but understand that state is in a massive heat wave. First time ever visiting this restaurant today. I came in around lunch on business to inquire about a consumer of mine with an intern and the consumer to follow up on an application that we,d submitted a few weeks. Yes we came during lunch and I work in the restaurant business on weekends (it was not slammed by any means.) A lady ask how many are sitting to eat, we state that were there on business and wanted to speak with a manager. The lady instantly says "for what a donation" as oddly as I found her asking this I reply, no.. to inquire about an application. She walks away then turns around and rudely says "I am the front of the house manager that's why I asked" Yikes ... I think to myself as I look at the consumer and intern.. then she sends a server out to tell us "to come back at 2. No thank you!!! saw the ad and decided to give it a try. was seated right away. waited 15 min before was ask what we wanted to drink. After we received our drink, we ordered. Since they we out of Cole Slaw, we ordered a tossed salad instead. When our order arrived, without the tossed salad and a knife and no ketchup, also Luke warm. Finally after stopping another server she brought us a knife. when our waitress came back I reminded her of our salads. She finally brought them along with the knife. I asked her about the ketchup. She had someone bring it to us. With the high end prices, you should have high end service. read more

Wow. We stopped here on our way home from Auburn not knowing what to expect. My husband had a the joy melt and I had a ballyhoo burger. Both were fantastic. The staff was delightful and the menu was so unique. What a great experience! We will certainly be back. read more

We visited Miller's on Broadnax around 1 pm on a Saturday. There were maybe 10 tables being served in the whole restaurant. It took five minutes before someone came to the front to seat us. Took another ten minutes before we were waited on for our water and they didn't even have a 1/4 cup of ice in them. The table next to us asked waitress for some plates for their appetizers and she never brought them. The waitress stood at each table and chatted it up way too long when there were other tables waiting. We sat there another 5-7 minutes and never got waited on. After being there a total of 25 minutes I finally convinced my husband to leave. read more

The fusion Grill is amazing. I found this restaurant last week and I've already been three times. I haven't had anything bad. The burgers are phenomenal and the fried green tomatoes are the best I've ever had. The family that owns and run this place give excellent service; they take care of you, they remember you. This place is fabulous!! What a hidden gem In Dadeville!! The burger was out of this world but the ribs knocked it out of the park. All of the sauces are homemade with flavors such as tomato jam and blackberry jalapeño. Small place with less than 20 tables which was even better! Service was off the chart. We will be back..soon.
