Came for the sushi specials. Ended up ordering the Davenport oysters which were incredible-- they totally stole the show. Although the PEI oysters from a year ago definitely were the best I've ever had. I excitedly ordered the Tuna Tataki sushi special which was surprisingly small and a tad underwhelming for diehard sushi lovers. Struck up a conversation with the FOH manager Tafadzwa who is exceptionally charming. Great at his job. Ambiance is gorgeous. Love the vibe.

yum! things were great, i always notice how a server treats a younger couple because i feel like its so easy to write us off as non tippers, but we were treated very fairly and enjoyed the drinks A LOT. now for the food. this was not my favorite! nothing bad to say but nothing extraordinary. my shrimp scallop and grits was disappointing to say the least. $47 entree w no unique flavor profile. mid pork chop was superb! drinks were superb! ambiance was super welcoming and millennial. would've loved to give this a 5 but the food just wasn't there for me. i can tell this place has soul!

This was our first time dining here and the place is very nice and elegant. The food was amazing and did not disappoint. They have the best chargrilled oysters I've ever tasted. The customer service was top tier from the time we walked in the door until the time we left. The front of the house manager (Tafadzwa) greeted us and made us feel very welcomed. We were a party of 3 and we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated because we did not have reservation which was not bad. When seated our sever (Thomas) recommended some great dishes and drinks from the menu. He did an amazing jobs meeting our needs. The only thing I suggest is upgrading the lighting because the lighting inside is very dim. Overall we had a great experience and we will definitely be coming back!

I want to jump straight to one of the best steaks I've ever had but I'll wait.... let's start with the service. Our waitress Josie was very attentive and knew the menu like the back of her hand. She made great recommendations about the many oyster options, the specials, and other items on the menu. We went with the Admiral and Nova Scotia oysters. They were both delicious. For our main entrees we chose the crab cakes and Wagyu Ny Strip. The crab cakes were great! The steak... one of the best dishes I've ever had. The strip was cooked to perfection, the sauce was succulent and the accompanied sides were amazing. I can't over state how good this entree was y'all. 10/10. Chef Scott Simpson is a master in the kitchen. We can't wait to go back.

First time trying brunch here. Surprised not many people were there, but it was also spring break week. Love: service (FOH manager & server were kind); steak & eggs (bro said it was good); crab cake Bennie (loved the hollandaise); apple mocktail (applebutter syrup with the ginger beer soooo good)

Auburn has changed a lot within 10 years. This restaurant would have been my every weekend brunch spot. Great food, great vibe, great service.

    Dessert

Fantastic food, great ambiance, and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The dessert menu is very good and paired well with our main meal.

Wow amazing American seafood restaurant inside Auburn University campus. 1. Ambiance: love the southern historical + retro modern style. 2. Food is amazing, we tried to order different dishes and share family style and ALL WERE GREAT! shows real care on quality ingredients/seafood, flavor combination and plating/presentation. Prices are moderately high but the worth for food and service. Wine pricing seems reasonable, had a California cab house wine for $35/bottle. 3. Service is AMAZING: reception girl got us a nice table for 5 with happy hour men inside the restaurant section without reservations just be used there wasn't enough seating for my party of 5 at the bar. Our server Mack was super friendly, attentive, even chatted with us for 5 mins and took great care of us. All the other servers were all smiling also! I would definitely come back here again on my next visit! Tip: Free Valet parking!

Do not eat here. Glorified Cracker Barrel food . Southern food with high price tag. Drove from Columbus and wasn't worth the drive! He!! No .

Our server did a great job answering all of our questions about the menu. For an appetizer we had the asparagus fritters which were very unique but amazingly delicious. We also loved their twist to the house salad. The dressing was refreshing. Entrees we ordered their ribeye & pork chop. We weren't a huge fan of the Alfredo sauce on the steak. Maybe on the side to dip a piece in but not smothered (wasn't expecting that). The pork chop was phenomenal! Smoky and cooked perfectly. The blue grits were also very delicious. Dessert we had banana foster with the ice cream on the side. Each bite you could taste every flavor they added to it. Would recommend everything except for the steak. We will definitely come back to try other items on the menu. The story of the building and the ambiance inside was a perfect set up for a date night or even a business dinner.

Fried green tomatoes- wasn't the biggest fan of pimento cheese, but if that's your thing I'm sure it would have been delicious. I had the strawberry / spinach salad. It was decent but a little too much dressing on parts and a bit dry in others. The biscuits were a star of the other meal. Sadly, no lattes... the only other bummer was that the waiter forgot my cocktail. He apologized when I asked for it... I know accidents happen

I believe it effected some of the flavors of foods that were boiled in it, too. Gnocchi had some of the same off flavor. In addition, some of the flavors just feel way out of whack for totally unrelated reasons. Sauce that the duck came in was thin and overwhelmed by honey. The risotto it was served with seems like it should be rich and homey. But despite a crazy amount of added dairy still tasted thin and flat. Can't tell you why. Wonky seasoning? None of the dishes reflected any familiarity with acid to lighten or balance a dish. Fried green tomatoes were pretty mid despite a quality remoulade and a bunch of pimento cheese. Ingredients seem like they're decent quality. Desserts are legitimately top notch. Everyone recommends the peanut butter pie. And it is excellent, though pretty obviously not long out of the freezer. The affogato Is legitimately fantastic. And I'm not even talking about the pageantry of dumping the espresso on the salt ice cream. The combo is legitimately satisfying, like a well-rounded creamy candy. The plates are funky and cool and beautiful. The staff all seem like they're 19, attractive, and gregarious.

We came Valentine's Day weekend from Columbus, GA after attending mass. He really wanted to take me here and I'm so glad he did. We had the bread and butter which was to die for! I think they gave us too much butter over bread ratio, but l'm not complaining haha. So warm, soft, fluffy and delish the bread was. I don't think we talked much when we had our wagyu steak main course cause it was so good, we couldn't say a word to each other. The pepper sauce with the perfectly cooked medium rare steak (which came cut in two pieces, which is a really genius move to serve steak by the way), with white asparagus, caramelized onion, rose petals, and just pure deliciousness. Literally chef's kiss. We also couldn't make up our mind about desserts cause they had a Valentine's dessert menu and the couple sitting next to us also recommended the cookies and milk. Yeah- I'm really lucky and very spoiled. Definitely hit a sugar high, but absolutely worth it. Servers and greeters were also all so kind and attentive. Definitely recommend :) I think this is the nicest dinner anyone has ever treated me to. Thanks for my amazing boyfriend- I'm so grateful.

Let me start by saying the building is beautiful and the atmosphere feels like a nice restaurant. Also, the cocktail menu was definitely curated by someone who knows what they are doing. The appetizer Barrotta cheese was the best part of the evening. With that being said, the entrees were lackluster and small. Our food came out lukewarm at best and honestly seemed like not a lot of thought went into them. I know that this restaurant is supposed to be upscale, but I don't think I should pay 55$ per persons meal and still leave hungry. Also, the staff needs training. The whole time it felt like they were concerned with fast turn over and nothing else. Part of upscale dining is that the price of food and quality of service is more important than turn over time. Generally speaking I will not be back to eat here again.

Tucked into Auburn's dining scene with an upscale-casual pub charm, it's become our daughter's favorite spot to "take us" when we visit--which tells you everything you need to know. After a semester fueled by ramen and an alarming quantity of Chick-fil-A, she heads straight for the spicy penne crowned with perfectly cooked filet medallions. A wise choice. They don't take reservations, and yes, you may linger outside awhile on a busy night. Stay. It's worth it. For those of us with Gulf Coast roots, the menu reads like a love letter: blackened catfish done right, crispy crawfish tails, and cheese-laced grits that feel like a warm welcome home. The fried green tomatoes are a standout--golden, crisp, topped with grilled shrimp, and finished with a balsamic glaze that somehow works beautifully, even if it strays from tradition. The shrimp and grits, the catfish, the pasta--all hits. Cheesecake for dessert, especially if you're loyal to a graham cracker crust, is non-negotiable. Dim, cozy, a little whimsical (don't skip art in the hallway to the bathroom), and staffed by people who seem genuinely happy you're there. We'll be back. Often. --Chance & Becky *All Ahead Slow*
