Really good food. You walk in seat yourself & soon someone comes to take a drink order. There's a paper menu with the days special on it. There's also a standard burger/breakfast menu. We all ordered burgers because we arrived too late for breakfast. I had a double cheeseburger with onions, bacon & lettuce on the side. My son had a breakfast burger with fries My mom a pineapple burger with fries (tots are also an option or you can pick a side from the menu) Burgers took a bit to come out but when they did omg! Huge & the fries were fresh. The condiments are all on the side which is perfect & theres nothing missing if you need it. I wouldn't have ordered a double if I knew the patty was so huge.. it was very well seasoned & cooked. I'm a definite fan! Everyone's food was great. The only thing I will say is... the service could be better. There was a gentleman who brought our food out & what a breath of fresh air. Super sweet very attentive, quick smile and very helpful. That was very opposite of the service we had prior when we came in. The ladies weren't too friendly or attentive nor did they seem very interested in serving us. So to this the gentleman who came out to help longer hair - THANK YOU.

This is a hidden, home-cooking gem! Made a trip for breakfast and already thinking about when we go back for lunch. Very clean and friendly service. Breakfast is cooked to order - we got the pancake (truly the size of the plate) with conecuh sausage and the breakfast bowl with hashbrowns, over easy eggs, fried chicken, with all the veggies and cheese. Lunch is a daily meat and three or burgers cooked to order. We will be back!

Old Mill Country Kitchen is an out-of-the-way place that is definitely worth visiting. It's open for breakfast and lunch and I've uploaded all the menus here. I came in around noon on a Saturday and the place was pretty packed even though it was an hour until close. I got the sense immediately after ordering that maybe I didn't make a good choice. Most folks were eating breakfast/brunch and I got the sense that this was the best part of the menu on a Saturday. I had already eaten breakfast and so I ordered off the chicken sandwich off the "burger menu." It was fine. Good like a Chick-fil-a sandwich is good but nothing to write home about. I should have just ordered a second breakfast as all the breakfast orders that were being put on the counter from the kitchen looked great. Also, it looks smart to come on weekdays for lunch as they have a special everyday. I uploaded the menu and all look great. Service was attentive and they give a cash discount so bring cash. Will be back for the lunch specials next time I'm in town.

Awesome southern breakfast. It's as close to my Grandma's breakfast I've ever gotten from a restaurant. The grits are amazing and I loved the split link and griddled sausage. Portions are extremely generous- it took three plates, and that's just one order! Staff are wonderful, keeping my excellent tasting coffee mug full and being friendly. Clean and classic decor, and great AC.

French toast was dry and tasteless. Eggs were horrible. How do you mess up scrambled eggs?

The food was great! Got an assortment of breakfast items and loved every one. Service was a little slow, but definitely worth the wait.

Love the big breakfast there. Do have to eat for the rest of the day after that. I wish they were open on Sundays

Lucy's literally never disappoints. We came from Columbus, GA and it's 100% worth the drive. We had…read moreMonica as our server this time around, and she's a fantastic server and with great energy! She made sure we were taken care of, was very clear and knowledgeable about the menu, gave incredible recommendations, and was also thoughtful in celebrating my boyfriend's promotion to Captain in the Army! The ambiance is really sweet. Whether you're here on a date, catching up with friends over a nice meal, in the mood to watch some sports, or celebrating a special occasion, this is your place! There's a sweet vibe going on with some music in the back, but it's not too loud where you can't hear your own conversations at the table. The food? Chef's kiss. They have a rotating menu, I think depending on the season/time of year, but they have some consistent all-year-round items on the menu. I first came here on Valentine's weekend with my boyfriend, and absolutely loved it. Couldn't stop thinking about their truffle parm fries, nor their milk and cookies- finger licking good. This time around, we got the Farmer's Daughter (which made my usually anti-veggie boyfriend absolutely love btw), half-dozen Gulf Coast oysters, and fall-off-the-bone lamb shanks. This is the kind of place you go to where you won't be able to find these dishes just anywhere. It's uniquely delicious, and I genuinely think you can't go wrong with what you choose! My boyfriend, a coffee connoisseur, also loves their French Press Coffee! Thank you Lucy's, for always such a great experience and for fantastic food.

Took my wife here for a date night. We don't get to go out much so I figured that it would be…read morespecial for us to try something new. Let me start by saying the building is beautiful and the atmosphere feels like a nice restaurant. Also, the cocktail menu was definitely curated by someone who knows what they are doing. The appetizer Barrotta cheese was the best part of the evening. With that being said, the entrees were lackluster and small. Our food came out lukewarm at best and honestly seemed like not a lot of thought went into them. I know that this restaurant is supposed to be upscale, but I don't think I should pay 55$ per persons meal and still leave hungry. Also, the staff needs training. The whole time it felt like they were concerned with fast turn over and nothing else. Part of upscale dining is that the price of food and quality of service is more important than turn over time. Generally speaking I will not be back to eat here again.
