Arienzo is a tourist trap to its core. Do not get sucked into this experience. My wife and I paid for the caviar experience w/ Dom. When we arrived the umbrellas look old/dirty. They are spaced close to everyone and do not move to avoid the sun. The caviar was my favorite part although they brought out plastic cups with "dom" although it didn't taste like dom at all. The food is bleh like microwaved frozen Italian food. The price of this experience and what you get is drastically different (not worth it). There are a couple other beach clubs I reviewed so please take a look at my profile. I came and then left immediately. The gentleman who took us back to positano was the nicest and the reason I'm giving 2 stars.
You definitely need to make a reservation in advance if you want to go to arienzo beach club. We went with the package that included a bottle of wine, two bottles of water, and 2 course lunch at the beach chairs. When making your reservation, you have to pick a lunchtime. You do not have the ability to order earlier than the time you selected once on site so be sure to keep that in mind when reserving in advance. We ordered the barata starter, the octopus starter, the squid pasta, and the spaghetti with pumpkins, muscles, and ricotta cheese. Overall the food was pretty good. The squid pasta was a little too much squid for my liking. You can get to the beach club by foot or by boat. Your ticket includes the boat transfer, which is about a five minute ride from the main port. Plan to take the boat about 20min ahead of your reservation time since the boat has limited seating and you may have to wait for the next one. We received complementary Evian refreshing body spray which was nice. They have merchandise available for purchase, including cups T-shirts fans. My husband bought a tee shirt and it seems to be really good quality. In order to leave you need to close out and then you will receive a wrist band that is your "ticket" back on the boat.

They had a private waiting area set up beforehand, with drinks like water and Prosecco. The beach club itself is thoughtfully laid out. You aren't too close to anyone and the water is great for swimming. The beach is rocky so just bring water shoes or be prepared for your feet to hurt when walking on it. Our reservation experience included a bottle of Prosecco, two entrees and two starters. The food was actually quite good! Even though we got some rain on our day, the employees made sure everyone had enough towels, and helped moved everyone under umbrellas. I really enjoyed the amount of shade from the sun that the umbrellas and personal chair awnings gave us. Employees were constantly walking around asking if anyone needed anything. They were very attentive! My one critique is the bathroom situation - 1 single stall for females and 1 single stall for men. This often resulted in long lines and running out of toilet paper. They did keep the bathrooms clean throughout the day though!
We loved our experience here! It was such a wonderful day spent relaxing, eating and swimming at the beach club. The club has an overall luxurious vibe with attentive waiters, good music and even live music with a saxophone player. They sell the beach club experience in a package. Our package included two beach chairs in the fourth row, a bottle of champagne, appetizers and an entree. We thought the package was a great value for our experience. The food was very good - we chose bruschetta, octopus and pasta dishes. Everything was good but our favorite was the octopus! We were happy about our decision to sit in the 4th row as this was a better value for us and when we wanted to get a better view of the water we just simply walked up for a swim. We also ordered additional Aperol spritz which were so refreshing but a bit more expensive then the majority of restaurants in Italy. Some details on arrival/departure - we chose to arrive by hiking the Path of Gods. The hike was beautiful and having the beach club at the end was the perfect motivation. If you chose to do this I would give yourself three hours for the hike as there are about 2,000 steps down and this takes time! We did not give ourselves enough time and arrived late for our lunch reservation. We were not able to sit at the restaurant due to being late but they served us at our beach chair which was very relaxing! After arriving they had changing rooms which made it easy for us to transition to our beach club attire. When it came time to leave we took the boat shuttle back to Positano which was a ton of fun and a great way to see Positano by boat.
One of our favorite days during our 3 weeks in Italy! If you make it to Positano, you absolutely need to make a reservation at Arienzo Beach Club. I made our reservation in May for our July trip (you can make reservations far in advance) and I know they sold out at least a week before our date. They have a free boat shuttle that leaves from the main pier in Positano to the private beach. They also have a staircase down the mountain to the private beach... but I definitely recommend taking their boat! Our reservation included 3rd row, a bottle of Prosecco, two starters, two entrees, two desserts, and two coffees. I think our bill was ~€350, but we really felt like it was worth it for the ambiance, exclusivity, delicious food, and bottle of Prosecco. Definitely a must do!
If you're wondering whether it's worth it to spend the money to come here for your own chair and food/drinks. It 100 percent is. Without a doubt the smartest decision we made here visiting Positano. Good vibes, nice views, fun music, servers are a bit aloof but friendly, my fiances cocktail was excellent and you dont have to deal with the insane crowds on the main beaches. Worth the money.
Arienzo Beach Club was so much fun! It was super easy to catch the shuttle from the main Positano beach; a quick 5-10 min boat ride down to their beach. Greeted and hosted with the best service--we splurged on front row seats for our honeymoon and the bottle of champagne included was delicious! Our lunch reservation was for noon, but prior to that they brought some complimentary snacks--nuts, olives, etc. At lunch we ordered wines by the glass-- French rose for me and an Italian white for my husband, both were so good. Our appetizers were the caprese salad and the mixed vegetables--both were super fresh and really good. Our entrees weren't as great--my husband got the pasta with zucchini (not a ton of zucchini, pasta was just okay), and I had the gnocchi with seafood--portions of protein were super minimal but sort of to be expected for a daytime beach restaurant. Also ordered Aperol spritzes and beers back at our chairs, the service was easy and friendly, they constantly checked in with us all day. So nice that the club is set on a cove and you can actually swim in the water, too--the waves aren't big at all! I'd definitely come here again.
If you ever want to feel like you're starring in a very charming Italian vacation movie, I highly recommend visiting Arienzo Beach Club in Positano. The adventure begins before you even touch the sand. If you have a reservation, they whisk you away on their little shuttle boat from the Lucibello Company pier right in the middle of Spiaggia Grande (Positano's main beach). Calling it a "shuttle" almost feels too ordinary, it's more like a mini Amalfi Coast sea adventure. You bounce over sparkling water, cruise past dramatic cliffs, and for a moment you wonder if you're being transported to a secret beach society that only the very lucky know about (which you really are lol) The ride itself is honestly half the fun. It's scenic, breezy, and just adventurous enough to make you feel like you earned your lunch. When you finally arrive at Arienzo Beach Club, the whole place somehow manages to be lively yet relaxed, with great music, it's the kind of spot where you instantly forget what day it is and consider canceling all responsibilities forever. The food? Absolutely delicious. Fresh, bright, and exactly what you want to eat after a small but heroic 8 minute sea voyage. Every dish felt like it belonged there, with the Mediterranean doing most of the flavor work. And the service was superb. The staff somehow balance professionalism with the warm energy of people who genuinely want you to have the best day possible. Eventually, they shuttle you back to Spiaggia Grande again (another beautiful boat ride), and you return to Positano slightly sun kissed, very well fed, and wondering why every beach day in life can't start with a boat adventure. 10/10 would happily get "stranded" there again. Oh yeah! Almost forgot! We booked the "First row, VIP Day by the Sea" package, which included: A bottle of Dom Pérignon, front row stay for the day, two course lunch, towels, and chilled water! read more
Had the best time here. First the beach was beautiful and the lounge area was amazing! The people working there were very nice, accommodating and on top of things. We ferried over and the boat ride was smooth and we were greeted with champagne (amazing). The food was probably the only down fall. The lobster roll was good but you got barely any lobster. We splurged and got a front row seat. Boats start departing every 20 minutes at 9:50. We took the 10:30 boat and arrived shortly after. We had reserved lunch at the restaurant at 1:15 which gave us enough time for a swim and to settle in. Lunch was awesome. The eggplant pasta was flavorful as was the lemon pasta. The burrata appetizer was nice for a warm summer day. Our package came with a bottle of champagne which we chose to drink after our lunch by our chairs. They do a fun lemnoncello shot session around 4pm. They have a great selection of drinks and food in addition to what comes with the package. Overall a great experience. read more

The food and service was amazing. We got to join Limoncello time with Antonio and Mr Nice Guy (Cresenzo) which was so fun and we had been looking forward to it all day. We wish we could go again tomorrow and the drinks were amazing!! Thank you! read more

Amazing all around! The price point is high but the service and atmosphere are top notch! We constantly had people checking on us so you definitely get what you pay for. The complimentary boat shuttle from the main port was a huge plus. We loved it! read more
Talk about a vacationers dream. Arienzo beach club should be on everyone's list if you're visiting the amalfi coast. It's posh, it's cool, it makes you feel like Lindsay Lohan for a day. For about $100 for two chairs, a lunch reservation, drink service, a boat to and from the beach, and an entire day at the beach-- I'd say it's not a bad deal. Plus it beats laying out on a pebbled beach. During high season (may-August) I would recommend booking at least a few days in advance for a chair. I was there in September so we were able to grab a chair as soon as we hoped off the boat. (Get there early if you're going without a reservation too!) Also make sure to grab a lunch reservation as soon as you get there. There's no food allowed on the beach and if you're there all day, you will get hungry. Plus it's good food too! read more

Thank goodness we found this place! My husband had found it randomly and I didn't know this was the gift I needed on our vacation. Make a reservation early online with them! It's 20€ for a chair, umbrella, changing room and use of toilets. We also made a reservation for lunch that was also fantastic! It's reasonably priced, along with their delicious cocktails (8€ each). The free taxi from Positano pier was perfect. The ride was quick and they greeted us right away. Best money we spent in Positano the whole time, hands down! read more

This was a perfect day in positano. A lovely, quick boat ride over from the positano pier. We had the a delightful day by the beach, second row. The beaches are all pebbles, no sand. The food was wonderful. The gnocchi and lemon ravioli were so good, as were all of our appetizers. Seemed like a great value for such a perfect day. read more
I cannot get over how delicious the food was!! It is amazing that the food is cooked out of a little shack kitchen off to the side because it looks and tastes like its from a 5 star restaurant. We stayed at a B and B approximately 200 steps above this beach resort. We spent two days here and every step required to get here is worth it as its a paradise on the Amalfi coast. The beach has a section for those who do not want to pay the fee for a chair, but it is very much worth it. The service is exceptional as they will deliver food right to your seat. The seafood is very fresh and we left each meal stuffed and fully satisfied. Pasta is fresh, mussels are full of flavor! Loved it and so will you! read more

We spent a day here during our stay in Positano, and it was the most relaxing time of our Italian trip. We planned ahead and reserved two lounge chairs and a time for lunch before leaving for Italy. A boat picked us up from the Positano pier and took about five minutes to arrive at the beach club, which is in a beautiful setting. Picturesque cliffs surround the small beach, where gentle waves lap against the coarse sand and pebbles. Along with chairs, the club provided us with a standing umbrella and little table for our drinks, which you can order from your location. We stayed for several hours, enjoying the sunny weather, warm water and wonderful lunch at the restaurant before the boat returned us to the Positano pier. It really was a perfect day. read more
I'm staying at the hotel eden roc. It's right near the main area In positano. The beach is near where all the stores are and boats are docked. It's kind of crowded. We decided to go arienzo beach club to get away from the crowd..I'm so glad we did. The beach wasnt crowded at all. Lounge chairs and service right to wear you're seated on the beach!!! If you're staying in positano this is a must for a beach day. The food here at the restaurant was awesome. Gnocchi and the ravioli DELICOUS!!!! read more

Im shocked that this beach club isnt yelped. Its a must while in Positano area. Its a small slice of coastal heaven, away from the big crowds. The resturaunt is solid and i had the linguini with clams, which was fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly. $10 for a sun lounger. Bring a towel- they have bathrooms, tho not that nice. There is a free boat that takes you back and forth to spaggio grande in positano. It comes around like every 20 minutes. Its a must do people. Do it and thank me later. The beach there is beautiful- youll love it. Also, ask for a float. They have a few to give out. Nothing like floating on your back starring up at a beautiful, rocky coast line under a blue sky. Took the water taxi from the main beach area away from the crowd to Arienzo beach. It was a great swimming spot.. we even cliff jumped. Cant get over the beautiful views. Great service and yummy food. Loved the fresh juice bar ! Cant wait to go back! read more
