This restaurant can only be accessed by boat if I'm not mistaken, making this a pretty unique stop for us. The appetizers were all delicious; those Raw Oysters were some of the best I've ever had! And the oyster dish it was served in was super cute! The Ravioli was pretty unique and despite not looking like a lot, it was pretty filling. They can improve all around. I recommended to make reservations in advance which me and my three friends did. Upon arrival we found out and we were not told that the main area was booked privately for a party. The whole cell of this place is the lunch party experience. While vacationing in Positano we took a private all day boat tour from Positano to Capri and our captain recommended this restaurant for lunch since we were getting hungry. Once he pulled closer to the restaurant we knew immediately that we will love it. The views are breathtaking. The private beach is beautiful and yes we did swim after lunch for about an hour. But really one can spend the whole day at this beach. The food was delicious but the service was slow. Getting the attention of the waiter was a bit challenging. We went on a busy Saturday so that was kind of expected. The only bad thing about our experience was that they were rushing us to leave so they can seat another party. Absolutely incredible! You have to take a big boat, to a smaller boat, to get here! We went on the return trip from Capri. Drivers organized a family style lunch (ended up being $40US/PP) for some delicious wine, unreal tomato and mozz, crispy zucchini and some other yummy things. This restaurant essentially bought a recommendation from our crew on our tour of the Amalfi Coast. The restaurant has a gorgeous view and that's the only good thing I can say. My father in law's wagyu ribeye was 110 euros, came out cold and was a terrible cut. My son's dorado was not good either. The head waiter was beyond rude to my wife, with condescension dripping off every response. All in all, this will be the low point of an otherwise remarkable trip. However, if this the valley of dreams, I would prefer to eat in a nightmare. read more

Very nice Resturant for lunch from Capri or positano .. friendly atmosphere and fun crowd

We took a private boat tour to Capri and the captain recommended this place in the way back. I couldn't tell if he was pushing it because maybe he would get a kick back or if it really was as good as you said it would be. They ferry you to and from your boat on a little boat and then you climb a few stairs before driving at your table with a killer view overlooking the bay. The service was great and the prices were not obnoxiously high for the location and views. Of all the meals we had in Italy over 10 days this place by far was the best. The olive oil and balsamic dressing on the table we're amazing. The balsamic was an age balsamic which cost $20 to $40 in stores and tasted like nothing I've had before. Soooo good. Our meals literally came out in less than 10 minutes right off the pan and were delicious. Really glad or Captain recommended this place. Would go back. Spent around $200 for 6 people to eat and enjoy a bottle of perseco. read more

The days I had lunch at La Conca del Sogno were some of my favorite days of the entire summer! Most people arrive to this restaurant by boat. You'll pull into the cove and the tender comes to collect you and bring you into lunch. You walk up a beautiful concrete path with ocean coming in and out and arrive to this seaside restaurant. As soon as we were seated, a waiter arrived with fried and stuffed zucchinis. It was the perfect thing to whet my appetite. The dish to order here is the zucchini spaghetti. This is one of my favorite pasta dishes of all time and I am going to try to replicate it. It is so simple and so unbelievable. The spaghetti with clams was not as good, so really just stick to the zucchini spaghetti. Calamari to start was excellent as were the giant scampi as a main! Definitely a place to sea (get it?!) and been seen! read more

We found this magical hideaway in June 2021 right when Italy reopened to the world. It sits on a private beach which is simply lovely. Wonderful staff, owners charming, accommodations are beach club chic, the patrons glamorous and the food and drinks were stellar. Our hotel gave us a boat ride to this restaurant. I am not sure if it is possible to get here by foot. It appeared to me that everyone at the restaurant came via boat. I heard about this restaurant from a travel blogger who was determined to eat here. When we asked a local about it he said it was the best restaurant in the area and it is an amazing experience and we must try it. The man( who ironically owned a cab stand in Positano) recommended taking a boat to the restaurant as the drive was extremely long due to the winding roads. We rented a boat a sailed down the beautiful Amalfi coast to the restaurant. We pulled up to the restaurant and the restaurant crew sent out a boat to tie us up and bring us to the dock. When we stepped onto the dock we looked over to see the other guests of the restaurant who docked at the same time as us. I was DIDDY ( aka P. Diddy , aka Puff Daddy , aka Puffy) . This instantly added to the cool factor of the restaurant. Scenery is very beautiful. The restaurant sits on the edge of the rocky Amalfi coast, over looking the beautiful blue waters. When were were seated, everyone in the restaurant was having a great time, drinks were flowing the atmosphere was cheerful and the staff played a big roll in entertaining the guests. Very social restaurant, we ended up getting to know the guests behind us and all shared in some good laughs. The wine menu is longer than the food menu. It is as good as it gets. I ordered the grilled octopus and the conch raviolis ( recommended by a couple on their way out). Both were delicious, as fresh as seafood can get. This place defiantly can be expensive, some food items on the menu upwards of 200 Euros, and Wine over 1000 Euros. But if balling isn't your hobby like it is for Diddy you can still have a great time for a reasonable price. Overall amazing 6 stars . Best memory of my vacation to Italy at this place. read more

We arrived via boat from Capri in June 2019 to celebrate. We were a very large group of 22 people and kicked off the festivities at the lovely restaurant that had gorgeous views of the water! We had multiple courses: prosciutto, fresh buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes, anchovies, calamari, stuffed zucchini flowers, octopus, assorted grilled vegetables, fresh fish, zucchini pasta, ravioli and assorted desserts: no dish disappointed. The highlights were: fried calamari that were very tender not chewy and had just the right amount of crispness. The anchovies were delicious: I ate at least 6 of them. The whole fish baked in salt was amazing cooked simple yet very flavorful. And our group's unanimous favorite: the ravioli pasta. After lunch, we continued the festivities at the beach bar for some libations and dancing. After spending a good +7 hours at Conca Del Sogno, it was time we all headed back to Capri. read more

Great location, great food. The wait staff is okay, definitely not as efficient and attentive as you would expect for a restaurant where you can easily end up spending €100 per person. I went to reserve a few hours earlier, and when I returned at the time we agreed they did not seat us at a table with a good sea view; consider that the view is the biggest attraction here, it takes a lot of effort to arrive among rocky alleys and misleading signs, and having to go through it twice, once for booking and once for the actual meal, I was extremely disappointed by not having had the deserved reward of of a good table. Moreover, their staff mostly neglected us (never refilling glasses, neither a smile, nor a special care, nor consideration). We had an impeccable seafood sauté, a very interesting zucchini and clams gnocchi, and their signature spaghetti "Nerano". For dessert we ordered profiteroles (chocolate and pistachio) that were fresh and yummy and an amazing lemon "delizia" (it means "delicious ", and it needs only one spoon to understand why it is called so). It's a good restaurant but it needs to step up a little more to achieve the excellence they aim at. read more
