Anyone who has ever built/purchased a new construction home in a new construction neighborhood is probably well aware of the pest issue, because I you know... construction everywhere. Duh. However, being a first time buyer, I didn't even think about pest. I mean, closing on a house is kind of a big deal! How exciting right!?! I was thinking about things more along the lines of furniture layouts, etc. Well, unfortunately, regardless of how beautiful our home is, or how perfect the layout is, the pest were ... pest. It wasn't until about a week before closing, at the final walkthrough, that I noticed the pest issue. So, I got on Yelp, used the tool that sends request for quotes at multiple places, and out of all the responses, only 2 quotes came back that were even remotely reasonable: Aries Pest Control and a competitor company. Both companies seemed promising, with extremely similar offers. Comparing... The competitor company was a few dollars cheaper, and included a specific pest type in their standard treatment, a pest I needed included and one Aries Pest Control didn't include. On the other hand, unlike most companies, Aries Pest Control does NOT require a contract which is HUGE! So how did I decide? Basically a perfect experience. *They responded to my request in maybe 5 minutes and provided me with an estimate that was way lower than the only other company that responded. *The appointment was next day and he arrived on time with a heads-up before he came. *The guy checked my entire yard for other ground wasp infestations and took care of a couple of fire ant mounds. Customer service and good work ethics are not a thing of the past. There are still quality companies and great people who work for them. Kevin was very thorough in his explaining of the process for treating our subterranean termite infestation that was very extensive. I don't like or appreciate pushy sales people so it was refreshing to have a normal conversation that was matter of fact and not pushy. The night before the scheduled treatment my wife had reservations. I texted Kevin and he answered all our questions and put my wife's mind at ease. In addition to Kevin coming out to perform the treatment Matthew came first to do the trenching around the perimeter of the house and also the treatment inside the house. I needed ant and wasp control really badly this year and because of COVID-19 there were a lot of businesses that wouldn't come out. Not only did they come make it but they all wear masks and took care of the problem with 2 applications. The owner is one who comes out and sprays and he's such a friendly guy and makes sure the area is completely done. On top of the regular extermination they also have a yard spray for mosquitoes and with having a pool it's definitely needed and worked like a charm! I had Kevin come out while back because I heard noises in my attic. He left traps with pheromones. I recently noticed a smell coming from the attic and called Kevin - he came out the next day and removed a dead rodent from my attic. Amazingly, he also managed to get rid of the odor! In addition, he does a pest control treatment for my yard that includes fleas and mosquitoes - I feel safe going outside now - and letting my dogs outside - to enjoy the yard. Aries Pest Control was one of the first companies to respond to my search. Their quote was very reasonable, and they visited my home to treat it a couple of days later. One treatment wasn't quite enough to eliminate the problem completely, so they returned a week later, all covered by the initial quote. I particularly appreciated how Tony took his time to chat with me about what the treatment would involve and how the critters might have entered my home in the first place. I was very happy with Kevin and Aries Pest Control for taking care of the critter issue that six months and two other companies were unable to accomplish. While their fees were in line with other companies I feel they did a lot more to ensure that the job was done properly compared to the other companies. When the first company became stumped they suggested I hire a contractor to cut into the subfloor above my bed so that they could set traps up there. Kevin told me no way, he had a bait that would luer them out of the subfloor and into the attic where he could catch them and he did! I no longer have to listen to rats nesting and scratching their fleas in the subfloor above my bed so I believe that says it all. They offer a disinfectant service once they get rid of the critters and I highly advise you take care take advantage of that service before the smell overtakes your home. It's disgusting.They were very Covid conscious and really nice guys to have working in my home. I will recommend this company to everyone I know. read more
