    I find Enviroguard very professional and responsive. I would definitely recommend them. We haven't had any bugs, spiders, in a long time.

    It's a waste of money for this service. There are spiders, and after every visit, they say it will be resolved, but nothing happens.

    So far, so good…read more First off, read your contract - monthly plan with quarterly services. I was confused at first, but it makes sense. There are other companies that don't make you sign a contract, but it comes out more expensive and more like a sales pitch every visit. It's nice that the techs come out as often as needed. Great customer service and professionalism from the techs I've met with first 2 visits. Pet and child friendly repellent. We have insane carpenter/fire ants. I tend to dismiss those reviews since they don't really have much skin in the Yelp game. There were just two elite reviews and that was a red flag to me as well. Nonetheless, I decided to give this company a chance and got a same day appointment to rid us of our carpenter ant issue. We've had carpenter ants running up and down our garage exterior for a long time and in the last few days we've had flying ants show up in our living room. It was time to bring in the pros. One thing you need to be aware of is that you can schedule an appointment for this service, but like most pest control companies, they will insist on a quarterly service agreement on top of the initial service. Our initial service cost was $134 which included a $75 discount that came with a $53 monthly payment for each quarterly visit. That comes to over $700 a year ( not including termite issue) for the basic service which does not apply to fire ants. Since I accepted the discounted initial service I had to sign up for a years worth of service before I had the option to cancel. That's something you need to keep in mind because that's a lot of money just to snuff out a few ants. The one and done service doesn't really pay the bills, it's the subscription service that drives the business. My same day appointment was scheduled between noon and three, they ( tech +trainee) showed up shortly after two. I let the tech know about the ant issue and we walked around the perimeter of the property while he swept away wasp nests. Inside he sprayed some powder in the upstairs attic while looking for any possible rodent infestation. The tech did spot some termite activity at the corner of the garage. After spraying the perimeter and infected areas with poison, he then treated the yard with ant bait that looked like Andro. We decided against spraying chemicals indoors due to sensitivities. The discovery of termites greatly added to the bill as pictured below. I'll go ahead and get the termite service and the quarterly check up during the contract period. I thought I would include all the bills and pertinent information so that you can get some idea of what you might experience. One thing that did catch me off guard was that after they left, I received a brief survey which then led me to a tip screen for the tech. It's not that he didn't deserve a tip, it was just the first time I had seen this form of online solicitation. Overall great experience with knowledgeable and friendly techs, not real happy about being funneled into a monthly payment plan for quarterly visits, but we'll see where that leads. Since having to helping my 17 year old fur-son cross the rainbow bridge couple of years back, there's no concern for chemicals and contact any longer, BUT if you do have pets in your home.Absolutely no worries. They followed instructions meticulously and E never got ill. Very grateful. Pricing is very comparable, and I think the service is actually better than anyone else in the area. Maybe I'm biased? The response I received from the owner, Steve, was shocking to say the least. I myself am a business owner that deals with customer service on a daily basis. I will admit that there are certain complaints that I may not necessarily agree with, but I always listen and validate my customers concerns with dignity and respect. The vacuum just stopped working Sunday, so not the absolute problem. Ariel I appreciate you contacting us about this, but you went from "considering" to canceling" in the same email without giving us a chance to explain.  First, that you for your business in the past and changing companies is obviously your decision to make. Blake is an excellent tech and does not take short cuts like skipping chemical measurement. We don't charge for the amount of time spent at a pool. Rather we charge for the job. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes to an hour, but more often it tale 10-15 minutes provided the pool has been properly maintained previously. Filter pressure varies by filter type as well as how dirty/clean the filter is. While your filter may read 10 directly after a cleaning the pressure will rise as the filter collects contaminents.  The presence of algae would suggest that it is time for a filter cleaning, but it could also be the result of less than optimal circulation. As Blake is paid extra for filter cleaning I am certain he would jump at the chance to make extra money by cleaning yours if needed. You mentioned your pool sweeper is broken and that is a pivotal component of pool maintenance as it not only scrubs walls and steps between services it also helps circulate water especially from the floor of the pool.  Unless we hear otherwise from you we will stop your pool service at end of day today. I am not sorry that my technician did his job and you did not heed the advice given not only by Blake, but by me as well, to keep toys out of the pool when it is not in use because it might damage your vacuum. If you cowtow to your customers for the sake of a dollar that is your business. I'm backing my people when they have done nothing wrong.
