    Chicken Parmesan sandwich
    Kaleigh P.

Stop what you're doing and go try Ariola's Deli & Market in Gainesboro, TN--seriously. This new family-owned Italian deli is a total hidden gem. I had the chicken parm sandwich and it was out of this world. Perfectly crispy, cheesy, saucy--everything you want in a sandwich and more. The customer service? Absolutely top notch. You can feel the pride and heart they put into every order. If you're looking for a new spot that's WORTH the drive, this is it. Support local, eat amazing--win-win. Located at: 104 E Hull Ave, Gainesboro, TN 38562 Already planning my next trip back for some gelato!

    Italian beef with giardiniera peppers

We made the scenic drive out to Gainsboro to try out Ariola's. We were blown away by the authentic flavors! The meatballs and sauce tasted like grandma was in the kitchen rolling the meatballs by hand. The Italian beef was also very authentic! We will definitely make another trip out here one day! Very quaint little place that we recommend adding to your "must visit" list!

And to those people, I ask, "Have you ever been to Antioch?" No, this place isn't scary or in a rough neighborhood. It's definitely not Brentwood, but it's safe to say you can leave your pitchforks and torches at home. It is, for lack of better words, located in a hole in the wall of a micro-tiny strip mall, next to a sports bar. Inside, it is sweet and cozy. In this cozy place, you will find the friendliest of staff members. To have an entire staff give their customers the utmost respect is one of the most challenging tasks of any business owner. So the fact that this owner was able to achieve such a difficult task is something to applaud. There is no board with an entire menu, but there are small pamphlets off to the side with the menu. I ordered the pepperoni pizza along with the meatballs as an appetizer. My friend and I sat outside, where they have outdoor seating and tables. That, I have to say, is the only downside to this place. The seating. No indoor seating, and with how ever-changing Middle Tennessee's weather is, you might have to drive it home or eat it in the car. But with humidity changing texture in a box or to-go box, it might take the freshness away from the experience. After the food was brought out to us, which is a plus and highly appreciated, we were ready to eat. I did have to run inside to grab some packets of crushed red pepper. You must ask for it, which, without hesitation, the man minding the wood stove gladly grabbed for me. Separating a slice of pizza from the others was a sight to see. What you typically want to see separating pizza. The ooey gooey cheese in entanglement. I took a bite and fell in love with the freshness. Every ingredient is fresh, and you don't feel that awful sloth feeling that a Pizza Hut pizza would leave you with. The pepperoni was to die for. Although the meatballs had a flavor that I wasn't too happy with, I knew they were good, even if my flavor profile didn't desire it much. The meatballs were incredibly soft, and the sauce they bathed in, with a sprinkle of ricotta cheese, was divine. My friend happily downed the entire box they sat in. This now will forever be one of my go-to pizza places. And yes, it's worth it to eat in your car, if need be.

I was completely impressed from the food, to the service, to the overall experience. We spent the several hours here laughing, dancing out the full pasta tummies and toasting to a good time. I really didn't expect to leave full after seeing the first few courses but I can safely say it was well worth the money because I left absolutely stuffed. What is really unique about this, compared to other coursed meals is they will box up anything you can't finish so you can take it home. I enjoyed most of the courses, especially the fresh made mozzarella, the creamy pasta and the donuts. The cocktails were great too but as you can imagine with many people ordering drinks at the same time, it took a little to get your drinks. Nothing wrong with this though! The head chef gave a lovely speech about how this restaurant came to be and the intent behind it which brought tears to my eyes. You can tell that there is huge level of care put into every aspect of this place and by the time you leave it feels like leaving your aunt and uncles place. So even if you don't love every dish or some of the dancing made you feel silly what you remember is how lovely the night was overall and what this place makes you feel. It was a very perfect all around and really fit the theme and intent for my birthday this year. For me this is more of a special occasion kind of place but I will certainly be back and will be telling friends to go.

There was dancing between the shrimp cocktail and the lobster tail and beef tenderloin. The owner and his staff got everyone up dancing to oldies and doing dances some might not have been at all familiar with. We all had so much fun, including my 15 1/2 year old grandson. I think they might only be open on weekends with an Italian Feast every weekend. Check it out and go!!! You won't be sorry!!!

The muffuletta was a solid sandwich and really big. The potato salad was yummy. It looked to mayonnaise heavy, but it was flavorful and satisfying. The cannoli wasn't my fav, but it was fine. The shell was a little too hard, and it wasn't filled in the middle. Each item in the order was wrapped and taped separately. Then, the brown paper bag was stapled shut and a large sticker was taped over the bag's opening. It would have been very obvious if someone tampered with the bag. I really liked all the care they put into packaging everything. Overall, a good experience, and I'd go back.

We should have chosen a larger table because the small one was very crowded if you each get a pizza. We started with the Caprese (Tomatoes & Mozzarella) immaculate mozzarella cheese and slices of fresh tomatoes drizzled in balsamic glaze. We requested more balsamic glaze because it was light. The fresh mozzarella was fantastic with the tomato and acidic balsamic glaze flavor that works so well. Just a great light perfect start and so fresh. Next the Diavola Pizza (Pepperoni) Fresh Mozzarella & Pepperoni over the immaculate tomato sauce. The wood fire crust is so good and just a nice pepperoni pizza. Fantastic Flavor. The Margherita Pizza (Cheese & Basil) Magnificent Pizza Bread Fermented for no less than 24 hours topped with simple tomato sauce covered with Mozzarella and Basil. Ours was more like a cheese pizza as there was hardly any basil. I like a lot of basil like in Italy and being an Italian Pizza I was hoping it would be very similar to Italy. This was more a cheese pizza. The pizza with the wood fired crust was still really good and I would just request more basil if you like a lot like me. Excellent Wood Fired Pizza and would definitely try the others in the menu. The service was good and would definitely return.
