It's like a quarterly date with a good girlfriend catching up. In fact they were the first to know of my 2nd pregnancy as I tested that morning because xrays were due. I have had several changes of insurance over the years and they were mostly in network except for a few short stints that I happily paid out of pocket for. I had all new fillings put in when I first started seeing them and they are all going strong. V, the hygienist I prefer always compliments my teeth even with my love of wine and coffee. After doing a bunch of research, it took me awhile to get up the nerve to call for an appointment. The day came for my first appointment at Cedar View Dental with Dr. Jonnes, and as soon as I walked in, I immediately felt at ease. That day they took X-rays and Dr. Jonnes went over options and a plan for future care and appointments. Second appointment was for teeth cleaning and the hygienist was fantastic. Third and most recent appointment was the first big test - fillings. I was scared and nervous, but all that changed within a few minutes. I felt no discomfort whatsoever! In a few days I'll be going back for additional treatment and I'm good with that. In my opinion, Dr. Jonnes and his staff practice the highest standards of professionalism and caring. I made the right choice.

The front desk staff was also warm which made the whole experience even better. :) It's now the next night and my aligners feel snug but still comfortable...I was able to sleep through the night just fine and feel like I'm adjusting. I'll be changing my trays every two weeks with a total of 10 trays in my treatment plan, so a total of 5 months. Dr. Lin let me know that if I have any discomfort he's happy to take a look and make adjustments. So far so good and I'm really looking forward to finally getting the smile I've wanted for years!

They closed up the practice with no notice, no letter, and are not providing our dental records to give to our new dentist. Then I got a call from my mother in law, same thing happened to her January 2025. Since they are a contracted/preferred provider with my insurance, I have reported them. I have heard from the office manager (also the dentist's wife) that this office is permanently closed.

My husband has had routine dental care over the years and ALWAYS takes very good care of his teeth. He is young without any prior dental problems. I understand Hwang to be very good and detailed, however, I felt like they were just trying to make money off my husband & his insurance. They ran all the insurance benefits and planned out the all the procedures to maximize the benefits, which I suppose was nice... However, I was shocked and we got second AND third opinions, one included flying my husband 3000 miles to my trustworthy dentist back home. Both 2nd and 3rd opinions, said that his seals were fine, he had NO cavities, and they couldn't find any reason he needed such work done. I was very disappointed not to find great service here, however my husband has found a wonderful dentist downtown next to his work that has been great.
