I've been a patient of Dr. Babin for over 10 years. He took over my old dentist's practice in Edmonds, and everyone on staff is top notch, enthusiastic about what they do, and staff have been very consistent over the years which has lead to having a very consistent care team. Location-wise: Centrally located, very easy to get to. There's always plenty of space to park, but it's also along a bus line and close enough to 99 where you can walk from the swift or 101 bus if no other options are available to you. Pricing: They're incredibly mindful of costs and does a great job of explaining what care is critical and what care you could pursue that may make it easier to maintain your dental health if able and willing. The doc himself: Dr. Babin is full of dad jokes and very good at what he does. I'm naturally very curious during cleanings and fillings and he's always quick to explain procedures and tell me how far along we are in the procedure which makes the time go by quite fast. The staff: The staff is consistent and knowledgeable, so you can expect to see the same people around the office. The admin staff are very knowledgeable about the plans of care and helping me navigate my insurance woes. My current hygienist is an absolute ray of sunshine, and has done so much to make me understand what she sees during cleanings and how I can address problem areas. She really deserves an immense amount of recognition for her emotional intelligence and skills as an enthused educator. All in all, every hygienist and dentist I've seen here has been amazing about making sure I'm comfortable and not in pain across the various procedures I've had done and I'd highly recommend them read more

Where is the page which reviews on Dr. Scott Rabin? I cannot find it. He put a crooked implant in my mouth. He took no responsibility for it He lied about it and said the tooth moved over time. He kicked me out of services to cover his malpractice. He is incapable of doing Complex work. He does not care about you. He only cares about money and he has no compassion. read more

My dentist was on vacation and the last place I wanted to go was an emergency dentist ($$$!!!) so I checked Yelp and found two possible dentists who could help me out with my broken crown. It busted off in my mouth while eating crunchy Cheetos and boy am I glad they called me back first! They have a machine that makes crowns the day of! No temp crowns! I was so thankful too because I was leaving for Maui that week, so I'm forever grateful for the nice doctor who saved my tooth from further pain and discomfort. I don't remember the lady's name but she was great and the assistant was great as was the office staff. Very friendly and helpful and I am thankful they were there to help me out. read more

I was referred to Dr. Babin by a close friend regarding a sleep apnea appliance. As a RN, I truly appreciate the extensive education and training Dr. Babin has invested in this area of healthcare. It is a new concept for cardiovascular and oral health. It will help with teeth grinding and headaches. Well worth the time and investment. Best of all, no CPAP machine! He was very thorough in his explanation of the test and procedure. He has a passion and dedication for the health of his patients and truly cares. Dr. Babin has a great personality and sense of humor. Office staff are professional, kind, and sharp. Paperwork a breeze. Office is in a great location in Edmonds and close to my home and work. Dr. Babin and his staff make me feel like I'm home. They are experiencd professionals and are dedicated to their work. I don't know how they can be so pleasant while at the same time stay focused. When I have my teeth cleaned, they feel squeaky clean. I have a cold sensitivity on my bottom teeth, so they're very careful to make sure the squirting water is warm enough. They have that note for me in the file. They aim to please, and they enjoy doing so. They are very thorough in explaining all the procedures so you never have to wonder about what's going on, or what the next step is. How many people feel that way about their dentist's office! I recently went to Dr. Babin for emergency dental service. I found the doctor and his staff very professional, friendly and caring. The doctor explained the problem and possible procedures. I found it comfortingly that he included me in the decision process, explaining each option in detail. I also appreciated that he included my husband in all steps. His staff were outstanding in their duties and tasks. Hillary was helpful from the time of making the appointment through helping with referral to surgeon and making that appt. for me. I have been going here to the edmonds location for about 2 years now after having moved all around the seattle area (Issaquah, Sammamish, Bellevue, Kent, Lynnwood, U-District) and by far Dr. Babin and his team are the best dental team I have had. They are truly lovely people and although I am currently in Kent to take care of my family during the pandemic, I'm still willing to drive to Edmonds for them. I love that they greet me by name and always are friendly, timely, respectful, and helpful explaining my oral health to me. They always take care of me but especially so when things haven't quite gone according to plan. The entire team goes above and beyond and I have full faith in their abilities. Go to an orthodontist for your Invisalign! Scott Babin doesn't have the skills that an ortho does and his office isn't equipped with the tools that you will need. What does that mean? Your treatment will be longer and less effective. They won't be able to adjust your retainers on site or file your teeth as necessary. I wish I would have gone to an ortho. My treatment lasted much longer than anticipated and they were resistant to continuing treatment when I didn't get results. Finally, I gave up and got the final retainers. My teeth moved back within a year and I had to go to a real ortho to fix them and get a permanent retainer (Keith Wong in Seattle - who is amazing). Dr Wong's office is night and day. They make your retainers on site and really know what they are doing. Also, I was pregnant and Scott Babin made an unnecessary comment about my 'letting myself go' - not cool. read more

Best dentist EVER!!!! I've been a patient here for a very long time, when I had to switch insurances they kept me on. I do not want to go to any other dentist. They are kind and considerate and listen to what you need. My husband who dislikes the dentist very much because of bad experiences with other dentists really loves the dentist here; so much so that when I made a mistake with our dental insurance he was a little upset that we couldn't go see this dentist; now that the insurance is correct we are able to go back and he's happy once more and both of our teeth look and feel great. read more

I am nearing the end of my Invisalign treatment and could not be more thrilled with my results and the great care I received. In addition to my treatment I also had a teeth cleaning this year (but I did not have a need for any other dental work so I can't vouch for any dental work.) However, Dr. Babin has a great sense of humor and clearly a great rapport with his clients and staff. He and his staff were always friendly, on time, thorough with explanations and my billing was accurate. And finally, . . . . The decor was completed and looks very professional (so now there is nothing left to tease him about!) There is also an impressive Sonos bluetooth music system; soothing if you are a nervous type. What a terrific dentist and staff! I have been a patient of Dr. Babin's for about 7 years now, so I was shocked to read the (totally bogus, in my opinion) review by "Shawn Calvin G". My hygienist, Vanessa is terrific! Dr. Babin is warm and sweet - his sense of humor is especially helpful because going to the dentist has never been a fun thing for me. Dr. Babin also went out of his way to come to the office after I cracked a veneer on January 8th (work done by another dentist 10 years ago). He saved the day (as well as my Friday night!). Great doctor and staff. I originally found this office because of a groupon for Invisalign treatment. I thought I would at least give the free consultation a shot. During the consultation, I was extremely impressed by how well Dr. Babin explained the recommended course of treatment before beginning Invisalign. I was so impressed that I decided to switch to his office for my regular dental visits! Both locations have friendly staff who do their with well, and with care. Dr. Babin even worked with me, when I relocated out-of- state, to ship my retainers to me at the end of my Invisalign treatment. I'm very happy with the way my Invisalign treatment turned out. I hadn't gone to a dentist in about 18 years. Of course, that will eventually catch up with you. For me, it was a cracked tooth. I had a recommendation for Dr. Babin from a friend who had emergency tooth repair, so decided to give his office a try. I checked my insurance website, and they gave his office great reviews and a preferred status. Great! Yelp reviews also looked good. So, I gave the office a call, was told he was taking new patients, and set up my first visit. The process was: Visit 1: Inspection. Visit 2: Cleaning/gum-tooth-bone evaluation. Visit 3: Tooth repair. On the first visit, the Dr. gave me an estimate of the work for the tooth repair, plus pointed out a second tooth that will need work soon. The second visit was a great cleaning--he has a fantastic staff. The repair was suggested to be a crown, but might include root canal. It turned out to be both, taking about 4 hours start-to-finish. Pain was nearly completely absent--just a little pinch while he was working on one root. I had no pain after the event, and the new tooth fits perfectly. It is really nice to be able to have the entire procedure complete in one session! Dr. Babin has a great sense of humor, and his staff works extremely well with him. Scott Babin is a lair and a thief. We agreed on a $14,000 price for the work I needed. After i paid this in full he charged me another $1200. He overcharged me and when i did't pay he sent me to collections. He also gave me a "filling" on my last visit and i didn't even have a cavity. He had to re-due my work twice and my new dentist said he would file a lawsuit against him if it were him. Do not use this shyster. Shame on you Dr. Babin and your assistants for supporting your illegal activities. read more

I am not a fan of the dentist chair but this guy has me, well, while not looking forward to work being done, I certainly don't dread it! He and his staff put my fears away in short order and did an outstanding job repairing one tooth and crowning another - all in one visit! Dr Scott Babin bought into this practice. Dr Tom Strothers was the best ever. Where as Scott comes no where close to Tom's expertise and ethics. I did not agree with Scotts assessment of my teeth, he said I needed a deep cleaning. Mind you I have no insurance. The gal that did the polishing as she did not clean my teeth was very rough (at the time abusive came to mind) and it hurt when she took the measurements saying I needed deep cleaning. I questioned her about polishing before cleaning and she only said that is how she does it. I made an appointment with another dentist in the area and he felt deep cleaning was not necessary, I was told I have little to no tartar and only one tooth showed tartar. The 2nd dentist said I would benefit from an electric toothbrush. They retook the measurements, not nearly as painful nor the same readings. The dentist and the tech said my gums were amazing and they would be surprised if I had any deep pockets. My teeth did not ache like they did after leaving Scott's office. I canceled the appointment with Scott and will not be going back. read more
