Do NOT go here!!! Front desk and imaging staff was actually great at appointment- probably the best MRI I've ever had. However it's been 12 days and report is nowhere to be found. They have not answered or call back my numerous daily calls and are not responded to both ordering physician and an additional physician calling on my behalf trying to get these important images. It's like they just disappeared or shut down! I now have to go to ANOTHER imaging center to get scans due to the urgency and their ghosting, my physicians, my insurance attempts, and my attempts to get any sort of communication regarding where the report and images are. read more

Good luck getting a call back from these people. I've left 3 messages in the last 2 days. All calls for scheduling and the front desk default to the general mailbox, and no one is returning calls. These people don't seem to realize, or just don't care, that some of us needing imaging services are in a lot of PAIN and need to get scheduled ASAP. Unfortunately my town does not have MRI services, otherwise I would run for the hills and find another company to get my scan done. Shame on them! read more

Had my knee MRI today. The staff was great while making an appointment and very clear when I arrived. I filled out my paperwork and was attended to pretty quick. They probably should have a sign out front that states you are required to pay your co-pay and out of pocket, which is the norm, but I guess some people are surprised by this. I didn't need any type of payment assistance but they did offer choices including monthly payments. Everyone was super friendly and clear. Answered all my questions and made me very comfortable. Highly recommend, but hope I never need this again. read more

Scheduler was/is great. But as far as getting the scans and reports sent to our doctor within a timely manner, good luck!

When I arrived for my original appt at 9:45 I was told they were running behind and could be seen in the next hour. I had to reschedule my appointment to that next week. When I arrived at 7:40, with a check in time of 7:45, I sat there for over 40min AGAIN making me late for work now a second time. The communication within the facility, staff and patients is terrible and very disappointing. read more

Consistently running late. Granted they at least call you to let you know, but both times I had MRI's scheduled they called to tell me they were running late and the 2nd time my appointment was in Mesa and I drove all the way from North Phx. So I got to sit there for an hour AGAIN. Apparently they don't know how to manage their time. read more

Pro's - Nice, clean facility with polite and professional staff. They managed to get me in on short notice for a MRI. Cons - Required payment upfront even though I could show proof of insurance and Health Savings Account. I paid out of my HSA on the date of service. They then billed my insurance company and were paid again (automatically deducted from my HSA). They received the duplicate payment over 6 weeks ago. When the insurance company calls, everything goes to voice mail. When I call, everything goes to voice mail. I go in for surgery tomorrow, HSA has been drained because of activities like this. It is very frustrating facilities like this can get away with taking patients money and holding on to it until the patient notices (if they notice). If they accidently double bill, then they should have systems that ensure they patients are automatically reimbursed. I wonder how much they have been paid that patients never claim. On 12/7 I had an appointment at 5:00pm. Had to wait one hour to be seen. After I was done I literally waited 20 minutes in the lobby to get my disk image. After waiting I approached the front desk and the lady was like "oh I'm sorry I didn't know you were waiting for a disk" I'm like you didn't you see me come out and wait for like 20 in the chair next to your counter? She apologized and I told her I was going to be back the following day. I got there at 8am on the following day and IT WAS CLOSED!!! The lady did not mention they were opening the next day at 11am after they're door showed they open at 7am. Pretty much wasted a 30 minute drive as I was coming from Phoenix and another 30 coming back. THIS PLACE LACKS PUNCTUALITY, PROFESSIONALISM AND COMMUNICATION. When you are sick or having health issues, your stress is high and you can feel pretty down. The last thing you want to deal with is a bad office visit. I am so happy that was not the case with Arista. I have never been treated as well or had a staff go above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience at a medical facility. Everyone at the front desk was amazing and kept in great contact. Even reaching out to my other doctors for me to ensure I had everything I needed prior to my visit. The technician was kind and professional and made the MRI experience much less stressful than I went into it thinking. read more

Super disappointed with the service the service at this facility. When I initially set up my appointment the receptionist said the my appointment would be at 7:30, then I get a call a day before my appointment from another receptionist stating that I wouldn't have to be there until 7:45. This morning while I'm on my way I get a call at 7:30am & get told that I'm late for my appointment. When I explained to the receptionist what happened, she asked how long it would take me to get there. I told her I would be there at 7:45 the time I was told. When I arrive I don't fill out any paper work they immediately rush me to the back since she said I was "late". Started at 7:45 ended at 9:30 because the tech said I kept moving, and I could be In a lot of pain and not noticing it. She asked me to reschedule for later today because someone else was waiting due to me not arriving on time in front of the other patient waiting in hallway chair. I scheduled for 8:45 the same day. so this time I leave early to avoid the same issue from this morning, to only get a call from facility to tell me that my 8:30 appointment needed to be pushed back because the person getting their scans is really in pain and asked if I could come in around 9:15 PM. I'm definitely understanding that someone else is in pain, since I can relate, but why couldn't the person behind me this morning wait, instead of making me drive another 25 min for the rest of my 20 min scan. What a disappointment! I wouldn't recommend this place and I will definitely make it a point to complain to my specialist that referred me here so he can be more careful about the customer service and where he refers his patients. read more

When I scheduled my appointment for 7 pm I asked if I needed to come in early. The scheduler told me to just come in at my appointment time. On the day of my appointment the receptionist called me to ask if I could come in earlier than scheduled. She called at 6:05 and wanted me to be there at 6:30. I told her that I could not come early because I have claustrophobia and just taken my medication, which is to be taken 1 hour prior to my scan. Also, I have a 20 min. drive. She understood and said that she would see me at 7. I arrived ten minutes early for my appointment, and was surprised when the receptionist gave me the paper work to fill out and told me only to fill out the top page for now. She wanted me to finish the remainder after my appointment. She said that I had to hurry because they were ready for me to get into my scan. When tech came to get me, I told him that I had to use the restroom first. He stated that I needed to hurry because we were already behind schedule. At this point I was becoming frustrated because I did not arrive late or on time - I was 10 minutes early! The tech rushed me to get changed and had me on the table and moving into the machine before I could take a breath. He must have sensed my frustration because he poked his head into the machine and asked me if i was okay. I explained that I was feeling rushed and that it was increasing my anxiety, which did not help with the stress of taking the test I was already feeling. He told me I was late and that he had 3 more people after me. I explained to him that I was not late and that I came in early even though the scheduler told me I did not have to. After that, he slowed down and made me feel more relaxed for the test. During the test, he checked on me often and helped me stay focused. Later, after the receptionist had me finish the paper work, my husband told me that he overheard her telling another patient that they would be seen at their scheduled time. They had come in early because she called them, and then she told them that the person before them was late. To top it all off - the lock on the bathroom door that opens to the waiting area is broken. It is unfortunate that I had a bad experience because the open MRI machine was more comfortable than others I have been in and I would like to consider Arista if I need an MRI in the future, but I doubt that will happen. read more

I will never come back to this place. Front desk was amazing but the MRI tech was so beyond rude and talked to me like i was stupid. I have an inplant that must be turned off before mris and i had it turned off last week in preparation. I told the scheduler twice about it and that I did go ahead and have it shut off in advance. I gave the person i talked to the info on my implant on both calls with them and was told everything was fine and dandy. Get there today and the mri tech said she had to have radiology approval and acted like they had no idea what i was talking about and refused to call the radiologist or let me call my neurologist. It was not my fault that the scheduler didnt pass on the information that i gave her twice. That was their mistake and they didnt want to be inconvenienced to do their job and correct their own error. It was over an hour and a half drive to get to their location to be talked to like im an idiot. Very rude and unprofessional. I would never suggest this place to anyone. read more

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the lady at the front desk was nice. I was asked to come in 30 minutes later the day of my appointment due to them running behind. Not a big deal and I was able to so I came in then. The MRI tech started out fine. I was getting scans of my lower back and told him I was worried about laying flat on my back for that long due to my injury. After a panic attack and having to come out to take a few breaths he told me "you have two options, you can try again and just do it or come back at a different time with a form of sedation". I knew I would struggle coming back so I agreed it would be best to just push through. He assured me that he would be there every step of the way..... About 20-30 minutes in I asked how much longer it would be because my legs were going numb and my lower back was starting to spasm. No response. I asked again... No response. I started panicking and asked if he could just respond because I needed reassurance that I could finish. Still no response. I began shouting for help because I realized he either had left the room or couldn't hear me. He finally responded after I was in tears and threatened to move. Worst experience EVER. Will never go back to his place. read more

I really enjoyed my experience with the technician while getting my Cervical and Thoracic spine scanned, he was very thorough and made me feel comfortable. HOWEVER, upon taking my images to my spinal doctor the following week, they informed me that Arista had given me the wrong disk. I had a different patient's brain MRI, not my own. In addition to having this event monopolize my one day off that I reserved for seeing my doctor, it is a HUGE HIPAA violation and their office needs to be more organized. Unacceptable. read more

I had read poor reviews of Arista before scheduling my appointment. They were not highly rated and several reviewers complained about showing up at the scheduled appointment only to be told they'd have to wait quite a while to be seen, or worse, told they would need to return on another date. Because they were less expensive than their competitors I decided to give them a try though. I was called about a week before my appointment and told that I could not be seen at 2:15 as scheduled due to "scheduling issues". They asked if I'd be willing to change my appointment to 4:30, which I agreed to. When I showed up at 4:15 for my 4:30 I was told it would be an hour or more before they could see me. Five minutes later I was told it would be at least an hour and a half. This business clearly is very poorly run. Judging from other reviews this is a recurring issue. Unless you really need the somewhat lower cost this place offers, I would strongly urge you to make an appointment with a more professionally run imaging center. I left and took my business elsewhere. I won't be back. read more

I was really nervous about getting my MRI done, but the staff took great care of me and put me at ease. They really went above and beyond!

Front desk was very friendly. They were super helpful and cautious when I got my MRI also. The Technician didn't just guess. She advised me to get an ocular x ray to find out if a buckle put on my eye 5 or so years ago had a certain kind of metal. Even though she had found somewhere that most were ok, and that she had done some before, she was cautious and ordered the x ray. They were very flexible on their scheduling, fast and easy! read more

This is my second time going to arista medical imaging, and I am now a faithul patient for life! The technician who set me up and did my actual MRI was kind, helpful and professional. She gave me extra blankets and pillows and even set the music to my exact preference :) The front desk was even more amazing. I was late due to traffic and they called to make sure I was OK (in a nice way that wasn't rude at all) and then got me in right away. Also, due to my doctor's office, I got the wrong MRI the first time, and so I've been calling them nonstop for months trying to get them to fix it because I wasn't going to pay for a second MRI when they were the ones who ordered the wrong one. I brought this up to the front desk and by the time my appointment was done she fixed my problem! It was amazing!!!! She accomplished what my doctor's office couldn't do in MONTHS when it wasn't even arista medical imaging's fault! That kind of service is unparalleled elsewhere. Thank you Arista!!! My husband had an MRI by Arista Medical- he waited over an hour to get this done for a scheduled appointment. The temperature in the waiting room was terribly hot to the point where he was sweating. Not a good experience. He was also told he had to pay his deductible up front which he did not need to. He paid them and the money was also deducted from my HRA so we had to call to get our money back from them. If we hadn't of called would we have gotten it back?? read more

I searched for 2 weeks to find a truly OPEN MRI. i even went to Arista office early in week to check out the MRI machine. Everyone was very friendly. I came back later same week for test. Arista got my pre-authorization and I printed out paperwork in advance from website. Technician understood my apprehension (I panic in a closed or even semi-open MRI), She made test go smoothly for me. I made appt for early on Fri. and I was taken on time. After test I only had to wait about 10 min. for them to prepare CD. The only "con" is when i went to pain doc Monday at 11am they had not yet received MRI Report from Arista. read more
