Firstly, the office staff used to be very nice. I have extreme claustrophobia and this woman, I believe her name is Susanne, usually sits with me in the room during the 75 second procedure. I had a ct scan on 10/15. WS told very sternly by the new office manager that from now on, I have to bring someone with me; that they are short staffed and will not spend the 75 seconds required for the ct scan to sit with me! The office mgr at this location has a lot to learn about customer/patient care. If this were my clinic, she'd be gone. The other issue is that I asked them to print out the films on a cd and mail it to my neurosurgeons office in Phoenix! Not only did the surgeon never receive it, but when I called advanced to see if they sent it out, they said there was no date indicating when it was sent, just says "mailed." Now I know usps has been slow, but it doesn't take 15 days to mail a cd from Mesa to Phoenix! THIS OFFICE IS COMPLETELY INEPT AT ANYTHING. There are plenty other radiographic places to go; why settle for an office that just doesn't care. Definitely will never be going back there. read more

Caution: If you use this facility, you will be billed. Keep a record of your payment in case they double bill you. I used their service in February, was billed in March and immediately wrote a check, which cleared my bank on March 30. By SECOND invoice, dated April 29, I was billed for the same services. No one answers (or returns calls) at the number listed on the invoice. I have called them three times. I also called the vendor who wanted me to send e-mail proof that I had paid. I am unable to do that so she said she would contact their billing office. read more

They don't stay anywhere near their scheduled appointments and even changed a date when I was 10 mins. late, the next appointment they were 90 minutes late. I am still receiving a bill for the secondary insurance even after showing them absolute proof they have been paid. I know their billing dept. is separate from them. This was resolved and yet over 8 months later I just received two more bills today. Stay clear of this business. My secondary insurance says to ignore them as they are clueless. read more

Tara has a wonderful attitude and her personality is second to none. She greets you and tries to make you feel comfortable during your whole process. She is definitely in the right career field . Called 6/26/24 and scheduled an appt for an open MRI on Friday the 5th at 7th and Thunderbird. They send me a link for the appointment, a closed MRI at 22nd and Peoria. She would not admit they had that facility until I got angry and just kept repeating that she did not make the appointment and would not put me through to the person that did. HOW WOULD THEY FEEL IF THIS WAS DONE TO THEM? Very poor service and I have not even had the MRI which is a closed one now. read more

I ended up at Arizona Advanced Imaging after Simon Med completely screwed up. They got me in same day with a smile on their faces. They are so pleasant to see and make the whole experience enjoyable. They are very kind, compassionate, and welcoming. They made the process easy, their intake forms are simple and to the point, unlike others mentioned that made every step of the process impossible, including scheduling. From now on I will only refer people to Arizona Advanced Imaging. They are professionals, in a clean office with a friendly staff. My tech June was funny and awesome to work with. Very considerate and patient. This was my second time there and such a great experience both times. read more

This place is great. Had two CT scans done recently and both times June was very efficient, friendly and let me know exactly what to expect (one was no contrast ct scan the other was with contrast). Scheduling the appt was easy (they called and texted me after all the insurance stuff was approved). I did call twice after appt was scheduled with questions and they answered my questions and I don't think I was on hold longer than a minute. I would definitely go back here (but hopefully I won't need to). read more

I was called by the Phoenix office Monday of last week to schedule an exam for Friday. I was told I would receive a text on Thursday with all the appointment information. On Thursday I received that text followed by 4 calls from the office. #1 Confirmation call automated. #2 Confirmation call live person. #3 Call stating that they will be canceling my appointment less than 24 hrs before it's scheduled due to them not verifying my insurance benefits. #4 Them calling me instead of my referring provider to discuss why the appointment was cancelled. During the 3rd call I asked to speak with a higher-up and was denied. The representative I was speaking to had no insurance background and could not even comprehend that I no longer had dual insurance and did not require prior authorization. Informed her that I would just have my referring send me elsewhere because she did not understand and it was not her fault the manager was not available. I called my referring and told them what happened. They decided to send me elsewhere. By the time the representative called my referring doctor after calling me in error they lied and said that I was refusing to be scheduled. Which was not the case. Lying on a patient is not ok!!!! Thank goodness I know how to advocate for myself. Patients go through enough hardships with their health without the people that are supposed to be helping us lying to cover their incompetence. read more

I have been waiting to get an MRI now for almost two weeks. They won't call me back to schedule and when I call them, I get put on hold until I can't hold any longer. I am calling from work and I can't afford to be on hold for 8 to 10 minutes every time I call. You would think that when they finally located my file, that they would take the time to call me at that time. So far Arizona Advanced Imaging has been a huge waste of my time. read more

Today was my first visit to Az Adv Imaging. Everything went great !!!! Everyone was super polite and really did care that your visit was top notch. From sign-in, imaging and follow up ... it was all East and flawless. The technician explained evverthing he was doing, read my order and performed all the XRay angle requests. It honestly too less than 60 seconds to receive a cd of the images at the end. Everyone is very professional and knows their job for sure. Total turn around time for a new patient: less than 15 minutes. Unbelievable !!!!!! This is a jewel of a place. Thank you to everyone today. In the future - AZ Adv Imaging is my stop. read more

An adequate facility with pleasant enough staff. The one HUGE draw back is that if they or your insurance give you a quote, know that it will be nothing like the actual bill you received. I was quoted around $254 for my MRI and received a bill for OVER $600!!! Both my insurance and Arizona Advanced imaging won't explain it or return my calls when they said they would. I WILL NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, USE AAI AGAIN and I will warn everyone I know that needs an MRI or type of imaging to avoid such a shady business. Very VERY disappointed. read more

Called to get my son in for an MRI. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were running on time. I have been here previously for myself and other son and had the same great experience. I had an appointment scheduled at Simon Med previously for my sons MRI and left after waiting an hour and forty five minutes after scheduled appointment time. I tried going to SimonMed because my doctor suggested them and for a walk in procedure it was a nightmare, I couldn't schedule and every time I stopped by they had like 1 hour and half wait. So I looked for a recommendation through my insurance. I am happy I decided to try Arizona Advanced Imaging, there was no wait, the place was comfortable and clean, I arrived with my 4 year old and the staff was really kind and kept my daughter entertained while my X-rays were taken. Was the worst experience I had in a medical office in a long time. The front desk ladies were so eager to push me aside and hand me my paper work after I told them I had an appointment scheduled for 2 o clock but Upon arrival she advised me the appointment was actually scheduled for 11. I remember it clearly when I received the phone call from the scheduler that I had and appointment at 2 because I made her wait on the phone while I pull up my calendar APP to input it before I forget. They did not offer any solution all they said was "you're welcome to go somewhere else." Another front desk lady who was not even in the conversation (blond short hair) was already printing out my paper work to hand them to me without even asking me if I needed help. I looked at her and she did not make any eye contact with me, but instead she just handed me the papers. I could tell they were not getting along and were not having a good day. Tuff, that's why you work in customer service. I was in shock of how they handled the situation. I would not recommend this facility at all. read more

Just got off the phone with these morons! Been trying to schedule an MRI for weeks. Someone at the facility called and left a message on my home phone and gives me a phone number of 308-7720 to call for an appointment that isn't theirs. This happened on 3 separate occasions, with being told to call 308-7720. Then I get a 4th or 5th call a day apart, finally with the correct phone number 426-1649. I call to get an appointment today, 5 June 2019. The idiots can't find my orders and question me "Are you sure you have the correct place?" "Who's your insurance?" After about 15 minutes the insolent girl says "we have your orders." After being treated like I don't matter by this rude and insolent office girl, I then told the insolent little girl that was coarse with me that the hard time she is giving me just to schedule an appointment is unnecessary. She became even more rude so I called her out on it and told her I don't like her attitude and then it got worse! If I operated my business like these idiots I wouldn't be in business anymore! I will be calling my doctor back to see where else I can go for an MRI. If the staff in the back is as incompetent as the front, God help those who do get scans here! I see a few reviews with 5 stars but the folks that have left these reviews have only left 1 review and it's for these folks. Seems odd for someone to only review one place. Bet it's the staff trying to bring up their rating. read more

I have had 1 x-ray & 2 CT's and quite frankly I am very disappointed with the reporting. My appendix was removed in 1967 and the latest CT report states that my Appendix was visible. I had to read it a few times to ensure I read it correctly. The very issue that I went there for was not reported. I will be going elsewhere in future. read more

These people were very friendly and professional. I have had x-rays and MRI's done there and I would recommend them highly. Very little waiting and I felt respected and cared for. Also, I have dropped by twice now unannounced to get copies of the studies done and they had them for me in less than 5 minutes. read more

What an unpleasant experience I had here. I went for an ABI test. The technician was curt to the point of rudeness. I was asked to allow a student to watch and participate in the procedure and I agreed. The tech did one leg and told the student to the other. "Is it okay if I leave the room, or do you want me to stay?" she asks the STUDENT! I pipe up: "I WOULD PREFER YOU TO STAY!" She looked angry and sat. The student fumbled around and finally asked the tech for assistance. The assistant mumbled something, was neither helpful nor encouraging. The following morning I was called back because they needed "more pictures", but I suspect the student pictures were unacceptable. I asked that they not bring me in 30 minutes early and make me wait for a half hour like they had done the day before (I sat in a totally empty office while the office staff chatted and visited with one another). Later that day they called back to cancel the recall appointment saying that "the doctor" said the photos were good enough. read more

The best customer experiences, in my opinion, are when you unexpectedly come across a place that stands out because you can tell the employees are happy and genuinely care - like the subtle stuff you pick up on when details are paid attention to and courtesies are never missed. I definitely wasn't expecting to find that getting a routine MRI this week lol. It was my first time here for a check up MRI I get once a year on a spine injury I've lived with for a decade (so needless to say, I've been in more than my share of doctors offices and imaging centers in particular). This place stood out, it's got like that local business energy where ownership is probably also management, and the employees are all actually friends with eachother. Never thought I'd have a "go to spot" for imaging lol but I definitely do now. Really stood out not just for a medical office but a pleasant business in general.
