Monique had…read moreanother client in the chair upon my arrival which is not uncommon in this business but to my dismay ANOTHER client comes in behind me for an appointment with Monique as well then it occurred to me she had double booked us. So instead of her servicing me she had her other stylist wash my hair after I had Already been sitting for 30 plus minutes, I was later placed under the dryer for God knows how long so her other stylist could finish their own clients. It is not so much the stylist I am upset with because they had other bookings and I'm not their responsibility. The final nail in the coffin for me was being asked if I wanted to "wait a little longer" and "I seem like I'm in a rush" When I replied No,I've been here since 1045 Monique's response was "Well it is the Saturday rush" I'm not sure what the Saturday rush has to do with my time being wasted, your stylist finishing your job, or the mismanagement of clients but I can certainly tell you "Saturday rush" does not mean I make an appointment for 1045 and not leave until 1:24 PM. A special thank you to CeCe for taking care of me you're professionalism and skills did not go unnoticed. It is very clear that you are the one holding the shop together. I will Always support black businesses but mismanagement of time will always be the downfall sadly. This timeline was egregious for a simple silk press.

She is extremely unprofessional, she had no stool for me to stand on, there were other strangers in the house, dog hair everywhere, and she poked me with a needle! I continuously asked for my money back because she messed up everything, and she insisted that it was all my fault for not going back to fix it! Why would I go back when she has proven to me that she can't do the job? What was left was an orange streaky mess that looked no better than the cheap spray tan booths. I called to reschedule and she said that she would respray me at no charge. After that text message I tried to make an appointment and she ignored all my calls and text messages for almost 2 weeks. At that point I asked for a full refund and still no response from her. Save your money and go to a real spray tanning spa not some tiny room in the back of a building. This was a total waste of my time and money and the results were worse than any tan I've ever had. If I could give less than one star I would for somebody running a business by herself she should know that the customer is always right all she had to do was fix the crappy tan job that she gave me and I would've been a happy customer but instead she ignored my text messages and calls, and kept my money. I was soooooo impressed. Erin was incredibly sweet and kind. Her prices are very fair and the tan itself lasted for over a week. She truly is and artist and made me feel really comfortable. If you are in a wedding or making pictures or competing I would highly recommend reaching out to her. You won't regret it. She works very closely with your personal skin to tone to make you look amazing. Hands down the best in town!
