Chase Field was the first stadium built in the United States with a retractable roof over a natural grass playing surface, although it has used artificial turf since 2019. This stadium and comfortably seat 43,300 fans. That's a lot of beer, peanuts, and hot dogs! Did you know Chase Field has a swimming pool located in right-center field, which is rented to patrons as a suite holding 35 guests for $3,500 per game during the 2011 season? Mark Grace was the first player to hit a home run into the pool. Most recently came to Chase Field's official and did the all-you-can-eat tickets located in the Bar-S All-You-Can-Eat Seats (Sections 221-223) on the Diamond Level in the left-field corner. What is included: Unlimited hot dogs, chips, popcorn, peanuts, Pepsi products, and Aquafina. Service begins when the stadium gates open and runs through the end of the 7th inning. Alcoholic beverages and additional premium food items are available for purchase at the concourse All in all, I like Chase Field. 7/5/26 This…read moreafternoon I was treated to great seats by good friends Jim & Brenda which were located on the Feild by the Brewers dugout. Beautiful view of the Field, Plate and Outfield. To make the experience perfect required a visit to the bratwurst grill the "Hungry Hill sandwich" which is located in "section 112" (Also at 134 & 315) and desert at Coldstone Ice cream! Bratwurst, a German sausage delightfully seasoned meat in a proper casing. Hungry Hill grills theirs perfectly making the casings well browned providing a nice crisp bite. The sausage used is fantastic and the topping options allow you to make it yours. I choose their "spicy" peppers and white sauerkraut, nothing else. They make them like I do on the grill, Perfekt gemacht! Coldstone Creamery, what's not to like about ice cream in the summer at the ballpark. I ordered the cup; Chocolate with chocolate chips and chocolate cookie dough and chocolate syrup. Chocolate anyone? I had fun being in the opposing team's territory and enjoyed the game banter with the Brewers fans. Game three of the Diamondbacks vs Brewers. It was a great game until it wasn't. Diamondbacks 2 Brewers 3 closes the series with Dbacks 1 Brewers 2. Diamondbacks take to the road to face the San Diego Padres and much cooler weather. We're practically masochists because it is ROUGH being an Arizona sports fan. As a born and raised Arizonan, I bare the bruises and defeats with as much grace as I can. I pretty much learned to never be too hopeful. I keep a healthy level of enthusiasm and expectation. That said, I love me my Suns. I loved them since the Dan Majerle days. Getting in the door had always been really easy here, I like how they've at least figured out how to stream line the security process. Lots of bars and food vendors to buy super expensive drinks and snacks from. Long lines for the restrooms. But the people working here were friendly. I came here to watch a comedy show featuring Nate Bargatze and it was hilarious. But the restroom situation sucked and even though paying $20 for a drink is the norm, I still don't like it.

Sit wherever you want and enjoy the game. Usually games go much faster than MLB but on occasion they can go slower as the pitchers can be wild and there are lots of walks. But watching baseball these days can be very expensive so Fall League games at Salt River is a bargain. From the time we arrived, everyone from the ticket seller to the folks inside were super friendly, too. If there is a quibble, we certainly want more 12:30 starts. It makes the trip home faster if you leave before Rush Hour.

The ambiance and vibe was chill, everyone was chatting and milling around, checking out vendors and tasting wines, and there were food trucks serving pizza and gyros. I would have liked some offerings of food inside the venue, but I did get some delicious plant based cupcakes with really good frosting. The whole evening was chill, we sat at a table then went to sit out on the bleachers for a bit more breeze. Very enjoyable event, we'll definitely come back for the next one.

There really is no bad seat. The smaller ballparks provide an up close experience at a more affordable price point than during the season. While you could pay for parking at the venue, I'm not about that life, so I found parking in the residential neighborhood that's close to the Park. It took me about 10-15 minutes to walk over. First off, let's talk about the main purpose of Sloan Park: spring training for the Chicago Cubs. I know spring training is a big deal in Phoenix, but I was impressed with how nice this stadium is. It may not have the history of Wrigley Field but it's a super nice venue. As far as the festival experience, everything was smooth. The grounds were well maintained, getting in and out was relatively easy, and I didn't run into any issues. Exactly what you're looking for when you attend a music festival. I'll have to stop by for a spring training game next time around!
