But in hard times losing a loved one, some people are more sensitive than others and don't understand or naïve to state, city and company rules, regulations and conflicting requests made by other family members. It is hard for one to balance those things and make the relatives understand and but sometimes a nerve gets hit and the relative or friend unravels in angry. I personally have used Shadow Mortuary a few times for relatives, and I can say positively they were the best I could ever hoped for. I read hundreds of reviews and made many calls and Hansen just felt right. We selected Hansen to be who we would use when the need arose. A few weeks later, my grandmother peacefully slipped away. Her hospice team made contact with Hansen Desert Hills and the process was seamless and professional. Two days after her passing, we went to the Desert Hills location to make arrangements with Cami. Nothing felt pressured or sales-driven, as we had experienced years prior at another funeral home when my grandfather passed away. We had many variables at play, including a burial trust and plans for an out of state interment, and Cami navigated everything perfectly and expertly. We also interacted with Charlii the receptionist during this process and she was wonderful as well. We picked my grandmother's remains up the following week and had a lovely walk through Hansen's memorial garden. It was all very peaceful and again, just felt right.
