Our experience was appalling, not because of one minor mistake, but because even simple, specifically agreed-upon instructions were not followed to our satisfaction. We had a signed contract requiring tamper-evident tape on our father's urn/container before it was transferred to an attorney for safekeeping. Instead, the photograph we received showed what appeared to be ordinary tape on a cardboard container. When we raised the fact that this was not the tamper-evident tape specified in the agreement, we were told that regular tape would make it "obvious" if the container had been opened. That response was astonishing. The issue was not whether someone at Phoenix Memorial Park believed ordinary tape was good enough. The issue was that tamper-evident tape was specifically agreed upon. A written agreement should mean something. The documentation was equally unacceptable. We were supposed to receive photographs of our father's container entering the crematorium. What we received was so blurry that we could not clearly read the identifying information that should have shown our father's name and identification number. Even the photograph of the container afterward was blurry. How difficult is it to take a clear photograph? These photographs concerned the identity and handling of our father's remains. This was not the time or place for careless documentation. When a family asks for photographs specifically so there is a record of what happened to their loved one's remains, the identifying information should actually be readable. Then, rather than simply addressing our concerns and providing adequate documentation, we were told to communicate through an attorney. Think about that. A grieving family should not have to pay an attorney to ask a funeral home to follow written instructions, answer basic questions, or provide clear photographs. We did have our attorney respond, yet the documentation we received still did not meet what we considered a reasonable standard. This complaint is not done. The handling of someone's remains demands precision, accountability, and respect. There are no do-overs. Families should be able to trust that written agreements will be followed exactly and that important documentation will be clear enough to actually document something. Our experience left us with very little confidence in Phoenix Memorial Park. If attention to detail, clear documentation, honoring written agreements, and responsive communication matter to you, we strongly suggest considering another provider. We certainly would not choose Phoenix Memorial Park again.

My grandmother passed away on April 26th and prior to her passing, I did extensive research on funeral homes and mortuaries within the valley. I read hundreds of reviews and made many calls and Hansen just felt right. We selected Hansen to be who we would use when the need arose. A few weeks later, my grandmother peacefully slipped away. Her hospice team made contact with Hansen Desert Hills and the process was seamless and professional. Two days after her passing, we went to the Desert Hills location to make arrangements with Cami. Nothing felt pressured or sales-driven, as we had experienced years prior at another funeral home when my grandfather passed away. We had many variables at play, including a burial trust and plans for an out of state interment, and Cami navigated everything perfectly and expertly. We also interacted with Charlii the receptionist during this process and she was wonderful as well. We picked my grandmother's remains up the following week and had a lovely walk through Hansen's memorial garden. It was all very peaceful and again, just felt right. I'm sorry if you have a need for a mortuary, but Hansen took great care of us.

We had a smaller wedding and ordered the bride's bouquet, a jr. bridesmaid's bouquet, the groom's boutonniere, and a few dozen white roses for table decor. They are super well organized and keep track of all orders and notes in their client portal. They base their bouquets on inspiration photos, and you can see what flowers they are planning to use on the portal. Make sure you are vocal about anything you may not like and answer all of their questions in a timely manner to ensure all visions are executed correctly. I recommend you make any needed changes at least two weeks before the event, as they order flowers a few weeks in advance. Later that night I composed myself enough to start doing research our best option to handle Baxter best...however that wasn't available to us, because they didn't have to put him down. So I started fresh.. I looked at YELPS top 10...settled on a few at the top to do better research, you know the ones that don't give perfect 5 Stars 3's 4's...which you can probably trust them as much as you can the 1 & 5's but that's what I was doing. After finding to many negatives at the top places...I landed on #16, I know...who would chose them. I did, I liked the reviews I saw...glad I did. I called, Rachel answered...I became an expert in my research so she answered the questions that were important to me. Can you come by in the Morning (24/7 btw) and they could first thing. I had a few more questions (hesitations considering another Pet Place or two), she got back to me within 10 minutes...answer my questions...she said Greg would contact me in the morning, I asked about what they would pick him up in, he's a bigger dog. She said, a Camary (well I knew that was a car and would not work especially if they would put him in the trunk or something. Greg showed up on time, and guess what...it was a Camary, he was going in the trunk and I was more than anxious, pissed?...But she assured me he would fit VERY comfortably...Greg opened his trunk of his beautiful air condition Camary and I heard harp music as my fear left me..it was one of the biggest trunks I had seen, and my 85lb dog fit more than comfortably...the service just got better from there, hence the 5-Stars. 5-STARS WHY? Rachel was very warm, caring and considerate...very responsive to my questions. Greg, was even more-so, and that blew us away. My wife was a wreck she got Baxter from a rescue, so she's been there through it all. She LOVED everything about Greg! It takes special people to do this business right...2 of them (at the least) work at LEASH. They were outstanding, I asked all the questions (and more), questions that you will probably will ask...and they were perfect! Greg also has a Harley...my wife asked if he would bring Baxter back on the Harley...don't ask lol...Baxter loved car rides...never road a Harley. Greg didn't hesitate, he said you bet...and he did. Greg kept in constant contact with us, I'd ask a question and he would get back to me pretty much right away...he let us know when he would be bringing Baxter back and right on que Rachel texted me a couple days before to let me know. We got the Gold Package, which included a Paw Print (which obviously is a must) it wasn't plaster like my dogs from 12 yrs ago, it was plastic of some sort, but it was very realistic, so I know it was our dogs print...which now I can't say that about my plaster ones for sure, : / but we both said to each other, "I Really Like These"...my wife said she loved them. The Gold Package ran us $425, and because of LEASH we had a great peace of mind that he was handled with respect and care. We recommend LEASH with all our hearts!
