Just discovered this place last year when I had to have another test done. This is an easy drive for me. People are always helpful and attentive. It is quiet like most doctor offices are, but the tap to pay machine is loud. I have always been seen either before my scheduled appointment time or a few minutes later. Never have to wait long. Machines are up to date and always functional. Rooms are quiet and adequate for undressing etc for test. I always feel welcomed and heard by the staff. Very nice office. read more

Book somewhere else! This place is a joke! They ask you to arrive 20min prior to your scheduled appointment time, but the wait time is over 45 minutes and counting. There is a palpable awkwardness and zero privacy when discussing payments, treatment, appointments etc in the lobby and front desk. They do not acknowledge the ridiculous wait time. Got rash twice from coming here. Did mammogram and had rash on breast after. Two weeks later, did MRI of breast and had a rash on my other breast the next day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On top of that, my MRI was scheduled one day, but they moved it to another day without calling or letting me know. When I called to ask what happened, there was no explanation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To top it off, I was told multiple times there was nothing out of pocket and that I've hit my deductible but I show up being asked to pay over 400. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The office manager got involved which made it worse. As I was trying to explain the issues of rescheduling my appointment without telling me and what I was told about nothing out of pocket, she put her hand up in front of me to cut me off and say "I was asking her what the problem was" and looking at her associate. Not only uncalled for but scary for her to physically throw her hand up during conversation with a patient. She was beyond rude and showed no consideration for the situation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]After making on the spot arrangements to borrow money to take care of this, as I can't afford risking taking time off work again to have my appointment rescheduled without my consent, they give me paper work to fill out and the tech who was supposed to be doing my MRI comes out and says "oh you're just getting started on papers? You were supposed to be back there 30 mins ago, you're really gonna put me behind."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Because of this procedure needing IV, it made me worried that he was not going to take the proper care he needed to and rush through everything so I said "I understand sir but if I m going to be rushed I will just reschedule because I don't want you rushing through my procedure". [[HIGHLIGHT]]He then tried to explain he wasn't rushing me but I am putting him and everyone behind. I sit to fill out paper work and begin crying, know I just paid for this procedure I couldn't afford but also couldn't afford to come back another day and not be rushed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As I'm making the choice to stay or go while rushing through paperwork, he comes to the lobby to tell the people next to me that he is super behind today- again making me feel rushed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I turn in paperwork but did not realize I missed a portion however when he went through paper work walking me back to change, he noticed it and pointed out the missing parts of the paperwork so I apologized and said I thought i had filled it out. He said it was okay but then verbally asks me some of those questions, as I am in public area with other patients. Even when I go behind the curtain to change next to the other dressing room with a patient, he is still rushing and asking me questions outside the curtain. How is this not a violation to my privacy?! He is yelling out medical questions and expecting me to answer with others around. I believe his name was Tim, but not 100% sure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I could continue on about this experience and how the office manager and tech provided one of the worst medical experiences I've had. People come here for cancer, to figure out what's wrong, to find answers. And the staff here could care less about what they do. They called and booked me. On the day of my appointment radiologist refused to take me because receptionist did not put together all previous MRI history. So they rescheduled me to another location. I went to another location and radiologist told me they do not do this type of MRI! So they scheduled me for Gilbert location now. Scheduling department does not know anything. Went in for an MRI in March 2020, then recieved a bill in June 2020. I paid it in full right away and wrote down the transaction number for reference as I was sure they might screw up the billing. Turns out I was right and they sent another invoice in August threatening to send me to collections! This is after I paid them in full 2 months ago! Complete incompetence on their part. Waiting for them now to see if they can resolve this error on their part. Stay away from this company!!! They will screw up and maybe even ruin your credit with false accusations due to errors with their internal bill handling. If they even think about going to collections, I will sue them. read more

I went there for the first time yesterday. Last week I went to their web site; I thought I had booked an appointment for 8 AM. When they opened, the lady at the desk said: "You don't have an appointment but we can probably get you in." I told her I had booked an appointment at their web site. Thank goodness my credit card refunded me after I had to go through them since this place didn't return calls or even attempt to resolve the situation. I have had the unfortunate experience of having to make appointments at this place. The first time I needed an MRI my appointment was rescheduled day of without ever consulting me on a day or time that would work for me. I understand having to reschedule but how are you going to reschedule MY appointment without checking what's MY availability??? I asked this question in the office and I got no answers. The day of my appointment I was waiting for over 30 minutes. The second appointment I made was for 2 X-rays. Again, waited 20 minutes over my scheduled time. Now this third time im in disbelief. At the time of my second scheduled appointment I made the third appointment IN PERSON with the office staff. I got the email reminding me of the appointment where I confirmed it as well as a text where I also confirmed the appointment for Saturday. Now I would like to know why today, January 6th 2024 I show up to the location 20 minutes in advance for my scheduled appointment which again, I confirmed not only with the office staff but also online and I get there and the location is closed. Says the hours of operation are during weekdays in the physical location but online says it's open? Waited there for 30 minutes trying to call any number available but got no response. Once you get in, the technicians are very nice and it's a comfortable experience (i unfortunately have a lot of experience with imaging and this was standard) nothing special. Their communication with the patient needs extensive improvement. Not the technicians fault but office staff. Go to any other imaging place who will actually communicate with their patients about their appointments. read more

Scheduling told me to arrive at 7am. No one arrived until 7:30am. They had not even processed my order that was sent a week earlier. 1.5 hours later still watching people go in before me. Alright. So walked in with a recommendation from my Drs office and a STAT request. They said "we have another stat ahead of you but after then your next" 1-2 hours later finally being taken back to take an X-RAY! Nothing special. Honestly I don't know if it would have helped to have an appointment or not but to me STAT means something. Went in for my wife's mammogram, also had recommendation for a bone density we were going to pass on. The gal at reception ensured us that there would be no co-pay. Now after receiving a $65.00 bill their tune has changed to you sign you pay. $65.00 in the big picture does amount to much, it is the principle to fact that we were giving bad information ( This was after her calling my insurance and asking). Going to move forward to arbitration with this only because the billing department has been so rude. Customer service is dead. Accountability is only for the responsible. I was sent here by my chiropractor and I had my spine X rayed and they zapped me with EIGHTEEN x-rays. I got 3/5ths of a year of allowable workplace radiation and only held a protective pad in one pose. If you go here, take a stand on how many zaps you'll allow. I was too trusting. Wish people would listen. I have had a ultra sound done and a CT scan done. The only complaint I have is the office staff miss communicating with doctors. Under my poor insurance 3 out of the x number of doctors are covered. Low and behold the doctor to review my results was not one of the ones and I have now a $959 bill to pay for lab work. The ultra sound was showing I had all kinds of ailments that would require surgery, then I got a follow up CT scan and was told everything was fine. The Ultra sounds are not as accurate. However I still get to pay for both regardless of the results. The staff and technicians are excellent the equipment is current and everyone is very well trained. Again only complaint is communication between billing, insurance and doctors. read more

I have been here on multiple days for a series of tests and they have done a great job. They are convenient and easy to find. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. Wait times are reasonable. So I arrived at the Radiology place at 3:20 (they asked that we sign in at 3:30 for 4pm appointment) - I was checked in.. I sat there and sat there and sat there... at 4:45 the receptionist says, "has anyone taken you back?" me: nope receptionist: did they tell you they were running late? me: nope ...then she looks at my paperwork The manager at the radiology place called me back about 5 minutes later and informed me that they didn't have the knee brace thingie that would fit around my knee - we tried the one he did have.. no go.. he also told me the table that they put us on for the test is stuck at 2 1/2 feet high.. I'm 5'2" and both legs are hurt (1 with cellulitis the other knee is the one we were testing for tears) Apparently the knee brace thing that would fit me has been out for "repairs" for 3 months? huh? You telling me I'm the only plus sized woman you've had to do an Open MRI for in that long? I was a little skeptical but I kept it to myself as usual.. In the back of my mind I wondered if they were making up this "story" to avoid starting an open MRI at 4:45pm when they office closes at 5pm.. but that's the cynic in me.. I put my weight on my paperwork... no one looked at it and went.. OH CRAP.. we don't have that plus sized knee thingie! Send her home.. or find somewhere that does.. no they made me wait and ignored me.. the woman who has been extremely anxious about this test for days since she couldn't make it through the closed mri. I walked out the door.. called my Uber.. and cried.. I was MAD - adding insult to injury - ignore me for over an hour then tell me you can't complete the test because the apparatus for bigger people is out for repair?.. I understand machines break.. trust me.. I've dealt with them but this wallflower is just upset she was made to feel like some freak. *sigh* I'm sure they didn't mean anything by it.. it's more of a drop in communication.. but not a good experience. Even my experience with the closed mri was much more friendly and gentle. I have 3 rounds of tests done with AZ Tech. 1st was a ct scan if lungs duw to a spot on an x ray. 14 days to get results. 2nd was a Mamo and ct scan for a.lump I found, I had breast cancer once so I was anxious for results. 14 days later I got t but e results. Benign cyst. 3rd after losing 35 lbs.in a short period of time a blood test showed hyperthyroidism so I did a two day thyroid test. 3 weeks later my doc still has no results. Not acceptable. My Doc is shocked and done with them as well as I have am. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!! They will lie to you to get you in then they will over-bill you. I found AZ Tech after receiving several high quotes for an MRI that were beyond my budget. AZ Tech gave me a quote that seemed too good to be true and now I know it was. I disclosed my deductible and co-pay in advance and also financial hardship as this was during covid. I paid the balance at the time of service and now I am being billed more then double what I originally paid (which should have been the total or close to it per their conversations with me prior to service). I went here for two different Ultrasounds. I made the appointment over the phone. I asked if I would need to bring any money for a copay. The girl on the phone told me no it would take a few days for the insurance to processes the claim. I show up to my appointment later that days, the lady at the desk tells me I owe $250.00. I told her that's not how my conversation went with the scheduled on the phone. I ended up just paying $100.00 just so I could have my ultrasounds done. (Simon med my stuff would have been covered). The tech comes out to get me and I ask if my BF can come back. She' says "I guess if he wants but this is going to be quick". So I ask about both ultrasounds I am scheduled for. She tells me no I'm only scheduled for one and the other one is on another date. I knew nothing about this other date. The tech proceeded to get mad at me. She was very rude and mean to me. She made me feel bad that she was working me in for the other ultrasound (that I made an appointment for that day). She pressed so hard on my neck during my thyroid ultrasound that it was hard to breath and then she told me to stop moving. As for my leg ultrasound I'm not sure she even got the right area. Whoever read the ultrasounds and sent the results to my Dr. read my thyroid one wrong as it didn't match previous ultrasounds I've had in the past. I am upset and now I will have to go somewhere else and pay more money to have it redone. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

As an advocate for my son with extensive medical needs, I have a lot of experience with different medical practices over the years. Dealing with AZ-Tech Radiology has been the worst set of encounters I've ever had, and I advise medical consumers to go elsewhere for radiology services. Last fall, my doctor wrote an order for an ultrasound. The order included an abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound. I paid what they claimed I owed upfront after they processed the order through my insurance company. After performing the abdominal ultrasound, the technicians decided they did not need to proceed with the transvaginal. I was sent home. Two months later, I received a bill for a remaining portion they claimed was due on my bill, which included the second ultrasound--a service that was not rendered. In fact, AZ-Tech owed me money because I overpaid for the second ultrasound that they did not perform. I reached out to five different people at AZ-Tech at five different times. All of them told me they would look into my bill and get back to me. They never did. I emailed Andrea Brandon for the CFO's name and number because their inaction was beginning to appear fraudulent. She did not provide the information. When I threatened to go to the BBB and report them to FTC, she told me to go ahead. This leads me to believe that they get away with stealing from patients on a regular basis without consequence. I reported them to the BBB, who reached out to them twice. AZ-Tech ignored them each time. I contacted my insurance company. The customer service rep referred me to the fraud department. They ignored my insurance company as an in-network provider twice, as well. In the meantime, they have threatened me with collections three time to pay a bill I do not owe. This seems to constitute medical extortion. AZ-Tech still has not taken the time to look into what at first may have been a simple error. Now it is considered fraud by the insurance company and is a form of medical extortion (holding my credit score hostage for money they are not owed). I paid the amount they demanded for a service I did not receive to preserve my impeccable credit score. However, I find their business practices despicable. My next step is to report them to the Arizona State Attorney General's office. Do not use them. Ever. If there was an option to give them a zero on Yelp, I would. read more

I went on the 27th of December 2018 and my dr put a stat on it, being a 2x breast cancer survivor it was important, I seen the paper the tech had for my ultrasound and it was stamped in red "stat". Well it's now Monday the 31st and still have no reading on it, I have been given every excuse possible including "the report wasnt marked stat", and I told them they were wrong, seen it on the dr end and on the tech end,. Been there several times, called the dr several times only to have them tell me that the report still isnt back and it's not professional on az tech by any means, and called this morning just to have az tech tell me that it might be Wednesday or Thursday before its read. I could have been back to Minnesota, had the ultrasound and any procedures done and back here before I get any results from az tech. Do they not know what "stat" means or are the radiologist really just there for a paycheck or maybe they have to find radiologists to read them. Not really sure what the problem is but its left me emotionally drained because of their mistake and I have paid them but cant seem to get my money back so I can go to a real place to have it done.
