This place has some pretty decent donuts. Great selection as well. I especially like the glazed buttermilk donuts. I really wish they had some regular cream filled donuts or long johns. It is so hard to find any if those anymore. $8.99 a dozen seems to be the average going price in the Phoenix area, so they are in line with this price point. My friend goes there for the Thai Chai Latte I believe is what she called it and says they make a pretty good one. This place is good, but not great. I had a ham and cheese croissant and a strawberry banana smoothie with boba. The boba wasn't that good. It was kind of hard and tasted kind of old. The smoothie was creamy but it didn't taste great to me. The croissant was good though and a good size, so I would recommend the croissant. If you get a drink, you get a free donut. The workers okay. One was nice, but the other didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I probably wouldn't recommend this place to other people, but it's still good and I may or may not come again. read more

The croissant was somewhere between grocery store baked goods and genuine viennoiserie, but had a crispness close enough to the latter that I enjoyed it. The selection is staggering. Arizona Donuts is based in an old Wendy's building, so I guess their kitchen has plenty of muscle. The French donut, the only kind I had, was not excellent. I didn't want to eat the second one I bought, but since I'm on a road trip it did get consumed later. Their coffee is harsh but fine. I stopped in for a quick donut fix. They were in back hard at work making donuts. The screech of the door alarm going off as I walked in brought a woman from in back to the counter. The selection of donuts were was about the same as you would find at most places. I got a fritter. Fritters can be either very good or not so much . I have had some that were very oily because the oil wasn't hot enough when they were made. This was not the case. The fritter was crispy and sweet, little smaller than some. I'm not super crazy about donuts but this place is near my work and when I get the sudden urge for some sugar I hit this place up. Not all the workers here seem too happy to be there but then again it is open 24 hours and perhaps some may have odd shifts? I just love the fluffy ball donuts, their addicting! You can't just eat one, got to eat em all. I don't like their iced coffees, I tried them a few times now and it's always made too sugary for my liking even I ask to not make it too sweet. This place has donuts, lots of variety of those luscious sweet treats. However, when I came in I was in search of an ok croissant that does not cost $5 for a plain croissant. I am excited to say, Yay! This was the place to find such a thing. For $5 I can have a croissant with egg, bacon and cheese! Now that is a great deal. Is it as buttery soft as the one for $5, you may wonder. hahah ALMOST! I did have one plain and I was impressed with the taste, texture, and buttery goodness. It is always nice to know for a couple of dollars more, I can get a complete hand held breakfast, if I choose. The employees keep everything clean and are able to assist and smile while doing so. This location has a drive thru so just order what you want and wait to pick up it at the window. No worries about getting out or touching anything. Stay safe in your car and get the order delivered thru the window. DH likes the way they serve drinks. The beverage is in a cup and the lid is sealed to the cup and you punch a straw thru it. Drive-thru Open 24-hours!!!! Yes, you no longer must rely on potentially disastrous Mexican food if you get the midnight munchies!!! I can't believe this jem has been here so long. The donut selection is incredible, and so much cheaper to feed a group then Einsteins. It makes you the hero, bc any family or work event is made better by a dozen of these babies. They're also better than a card for apologizing, and celebrating anything. Plus they have legit food too. You get 6 donut holes with every meal purchase, because they're fantastic!
