Made a quick stop into Bosa Donuts to pick up a water after visiting the Hole in the Rock. In addition to the water, I left with a Glaze-Buttermilk Donut which is my new favorite donut only second to a Glaze-Old Fashion Donut, and an Apple Fritter. I appreciate the freshness and wide variety of available options. It was a little overwhelming but in a good way. I arrived at the donut shop around 11:00 am and all the donuts looked freshly made. Bosa has seriously one of the best donuts I've ever had. This particular location makes it easy to pick up via drive through or go inside. They have donuts, bagels, croissants and coffee. I like that the donuts aren't too over complicated, just traditional styles and done perfectly. The dough is pillowy soft, a great size & prices were very reasonable. This place HAS GONE DOWN HILL!!! Egg, cheese bacon on a croissant...barely any cheese and looks like little drops of mayonnaise. I tried to call and explain and offer to bring it down there to show her and she started arguing with me saying no exchanges. I told her "I never said I wanted to exchange the sandwich". She started yelling "NO EXCHANGES". I hung up bc she wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise! I used to love Bosa Donuts, and I have been going there at least once a week for a long time. However, after recent events, I will never return. They have a "meal deal" that is a breakfast sandwich, donut holes and a coffee. I don't drink coffee, so I asked to substitute iced tea. They refused to do that and charged me for the meal deal PLUS the iced tea. It was a bit cold outside, so I asked for no ice in the tea. They charged me 50 cents MORE for no ice! I am so tired of being charged exorbitant prices and these bait and switch "deals". This establishment no longer deserves my business! read more

I went here on my birthday because this location is right down the street from where I work, so it's super convenient. I was only going to get 3 donuts but when I walked in and saw every shelf fully stocked, I knew I couldn't decide on just 3 - so I got a half-dozen :) Every donut was amazing. Super fluffy and flavorful! My favorite was the vanilla peanut cake donut (I'm a big fan of both cake and yeast donuts) and the large buttermilk one (cause who can go wrong with a butter donut??) I also got the strawberry banana smoothie with boba and unfortunately, I will not be getting that again because the boba was not good at all. The actual smoothie part was good though - just very artificial tasting (but that's to be expected and I wouldn't dock points from them just for their boba being bad (I mean they're not even a boba tea joint so) All I have to say is: Bosa never fails! I went to the Bosa doughnuts in Scottsdale located on 7444 E McDowell rd. I'm in a power chair and severely disabled and elderly. Two Scottsdale fire men assisted me into Bosa dougnuts to cool down my power chair, it was having issues due to the heat. The Asian woman at the counter, talked to the fire department and agreed that it was ok for me to wait until my wheel chair cooled down .She heard the discussion between to two fire men and myself , I just got out of the ICU after being admitted in the hospital for five days . She also heard that I was going to Mayo Clinic for treatment. She refused to serve me and continued to serve another customer. When I asked for the Wi-Fi password. She said "shut up and leave me alone I'm busy and you are bothering me, said she's the only one there" I told her I just wanted Wi-Fi password and wanted to order something to eat," she said I don't care." I told her I wanted to order something to eat and I'm a paying customer. She told me "it's too expensive and I can't afford it."I told her i live in San Francisco and I can most definitely afford it and I'm used to high prices. She said she did not care as she was counting the money from the cash register, ignoring the fact that I was trying to order. While I was looking at the menu deciding what to order . She told me to move my wheel chair to the back . Finally she proceeded to get my order and went to get my food, With out washing her hands!! I asked her to wash her hands as l just saw her handling money with her bare hands. Her attitude got worse. The place already looked filthy. I called back to get the owners name and number and got hung up on twice. Very rude and unprofessional! I will me contacting my lawyer along with the health department and other local agencies. This was in fair and unjust ! To be treated and discriminated against in this way was terrible. My friends and family will be boycotting Bosa doughnuts. read more

Bosa I'm a southern girl and was raised knowing that there can never be a donut better than a Krispie Kreme. Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit, I found something better than a Krispie Kreme, I found Bosa Donuts. It was early Saturday morning and I wanted donuts for breakfast. No, I needed donuts for breakfast. It was imperative that I have donuts for breakfast. I had seen Bosa Donuts while driving to the Airbnb so decided to give it a try. The drive thru line was to the street so I decided to go in. Oh am I glad I did! There was a display case full of donuts - and I mean full-full. I have never seen so many donuts in one place. How was I only going to select a dozen? I started with everyone's faves - pink sprinkles for the DIL, Boston cream for son, jelly for hubs and old fashioned for me. Selecting just 8 more was a challenge - every donut looked better than the next. Yet, just 3 minutes later, my box was filled and paid for and I was back in my car. Everyone was just getting up and all were so excited to see the giant box on the table. We all dug in. For some strange reason, my family doesn't just take a whole donut and eat it, they have to cut pieces off of multiple donuts so they can try everything. We end up with a box of little donut nubs. I found a new fave - the glaze-butt. Very similar to the old fashioned but better. The only donut that was disappointing was the chocolate bar. We all expected it to be cream filled but it wasn't. It was just a plain donut with frosting. The donuts aren't cheap, I paid over $17 for the dozen, but they were well worth the price. I don't know how I resisted going back to Bosa for breakfast every morning. It's 1:24 am and I want donuts. No, I need donuts. It's imperative that I get donuts. We stopped here on our way to the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and couldn't be happier that we did. We went in the morning around 10am on a Monday and every donut you could imagine was freshly baked and stocked in their large display case. Having so much variety of delicious looking donuts made it very difficult to choose but my boyfriend and I settled on a chocolate long John, glazed twist, and a glazed raspberry filled. These were the freshest donuts I've tasted! We both noted how light and pillowy they were with great flavor. Raspberry filling was super tasty and not gummy. With all the expensive and overrated "gourmet" donut shops out there, I was happy to find a place that still does the classics at a very reasonable price. Boyfriend said the coffee was good too! Have been waiting to check out Bosa donuts since I moved the the area in July. My boyfriend and I ended up going here on my bday weekend to get a dozen donuts. If you want classic donuts, this is for sure the place to go. They have quite an array of options and the donuts are well glazed, and extremely fresh and fluffy. I normally can only eat three donuts before I have to stop, but honestly I was able to eat 5-6 before I had to stop here (which shows how fluffy they are but then also that I am a pig, I guess lol). Only two things made me dock a star: 1) I assumed the maple long John would be stuffed with cream and it wasn't. So that's a big missed opportunity. 2) The hot chocolate there is made from a machine and is just water and cocoa powder. Would love if a family donut shop like this made their own hot drinks. Either way, this seems to be the donut authority in the PHX area and I feel it's well-deserved. I'll keep trying out donut places in the area to see how others stack up to Bosa's. read more
