can't say enough good things about my experience with JustDryBasement. From the very first phone…read morecall, everything was top-notch. I had contacted several companies before, and honestly, most made me feel like I was bothering them. But when I called JustDryBasement, Susan answered--and she was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. That first impression already set them apart. She connected me with the owner, Elliot, who has been amazing from start to finish. We worked together on three separate projects, and in every one, his quality of work and professionalism truly stood out. First project: Elliot installed a French drain in my basement and noticed damage to the walls, so he recommended and installed a special polyester wall barrier. He walked me through the entire process with patience and clarity. I waited a full year before writing this review, just to make sure everything held up--and I can confidently say, even through heavy rains here in Medford, NJ, my basement has remained dry. His work speaks for itself: solid, clean, and reliable. Second project: I still had high humidity in the basement, so Elliot suggested and installed a whole-house dehumidifier (AprilAire E100). He connected it directly to the French drain system, so I no longer have to worry about emptying water or dealing with moisture. It runs efficiently and quietly--even when I'm traveling, I have peace of mind. Third issue: Recently, I had water flooding in the finished part of my basement. I thought it was the water heater, but Elliot offered to stop by just to help figure it out. And he did--within two days, exactly as he promised. He quickly diagnosed the issue: it was actually the AC pump, not the water heater. Thanks to his advice, I was able to get the original installer (under warranty) to fix the problem. Elliot didn't have to help with that, but he did anyway--because that's the kind of person he is. Beyond his technical skills, Elliot is honest, communicative, punctual, and just a genuinely good person. He always followed through on his word, showed up on time, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Even when I had concerns, he didn't brush them off--instead of just talking over the phone, he came in person to give me peace of mind. I also want to give a shoutout to his partner Phillip, who was also fantastic to work with, and again, to Susan, for being so welcoming and helpful from the start. After working with this company three times, I can honestly say: I highly recommend JustDryBasement to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and peace of mind. Their prices are more than fair for the level of service they deliver. It's rare to find people in this field who truly care--and I'm so glad I found them. Thank you, Elliot and team!

I kept them updated after every step of my to-do list that they provided between cleaning out the basement, breaking down the laundry area, and upgrading my electrical to accommodate the battery backup and separate breakers and outlets. They spent 2 days at my house working (3/30/26 & 3/31/26). When they were done, they told me that they would need to come back in a week to tighten some bolts because they had to pour some concrete and needs longer to cure. I said OK and just call me when they were coming back. Work finished 3/31/26. 4/8 - I texted the salesperson asking when they would be coming back. I was told that she would reach out. Nothing further. 4/30 - I texted again asking when they would be coming out. I was told to let her message him. Nothing further. 5/11 - I texted again about their return. She said that she would reach out again. 5/25 - At this point I was annoyed and texted her to just forget it. Told them now that they are paid and got their initial positive review that they don't seem to care . That I was disappointed. Doesn't give me hope for their yearly inspections for 5 years to make sure everything is still running well. So, I am taking away a star from my initial review.

Nightmare! I cannot express how horrible the entire experience has been since hiring this company…read more The contract was signed in August with an expected start date of Sept. We were told that we would be notified two weeks before start date. Mid Sept we had no word so I reached out. I was told that the work would have to be pushed back due to Hurricane Ida. Fine, We can be understanding. Now October comes around and again, no contact. I contact the company and they tell me once again, that someone would reach out to us within two weeks to start. Nothing. Now November comes and we grow impatient. There was Zero communication from anyone there. Finally they notify us on a Monday that project will begin on Wednesday. That's 2 DAYS notice. We had no time to find coverage for work. We had to take 3 days off of work, last minute, because they were entering our home. Work was completed in 3 days but failed inspection. The office manager blamed it on a "New Inspector". Okay we had to take an additional 2 days off of work for the inspection and re-inspection. The last straw was when checking the newly installed sump pump, the pipes we not connected. What kind of waterproofing company fails at connecting sump pump pipes?!!! This time, the manager blamed it on the glue. I have never in my life, regretted such a horrible decision than to hire this company. No communication, zero empathy for the hell we had to endure and took no responsibility for their wrongdoing.
