They started the escavation and then half way through started trying to extort more money out of me. It was at that point that I made a decision to rid them from my property and accept the loss and damages. With my house now exposed to the elements and in imminent danger of collasping. I needed to find a reputable company fast. I called Structional Engineering and Design and spoke with Michael. He came out the same day to survey the area that had been partially dug out by the scammers. Due to the urgency, Michael got me on his schedule and started the work the following week. When you are going through a devastating and life-changing time. You need a compassionate and meticulous group of individuals working for you to restore your home. You can rely on Michael for prompt assistance. Michael and his team worked from early morning into the nighttime hours completing the escavation and underpinning. It was a big job and a lot of hard work. All of the guys were professional, hardworking and did a wonderful job restoring my deck after the escavation. Michael kept me informed and explained each step to me. From begin to end the Michael and his guys were simply top notch. Both instances they did a spectacular job. They were very responsive even after the work was finished. If we had questions we would have a response same day. Our most recent job was finished Friday and Steve was emailing us Saturday to make sure everything went well. The team left everything super clean too. I really expected at least a little mess! Especially since the new basement is finished and carpeted. Anyway I don't think we will ever stray from using this company while we are home owners. Call and ask for a quote! Elliott the owner came within a few days of me calling and gave an estimate to repair a floor joist that was severely damaged by a plumber. They came and completed the work just a couple days after that. They did a great job and even reinforced some other surrounding joists while they were there. This car drove quite recklessly throughout Montgomery ave. They tailed me, cut off a car, and then proceeded to cut me off too. Montgomery is known to be a busy street with lots of road work in the morning, so you should plan ahead to leave earlier rather than put everyone on the road in danger because you're late or maybe just because you're impatient. I have no way of knowing if that person works for the business or just supports the business, but either way it should be known that it's not a great idea to promote a business on the same car that you use to aggressively cut people off.

Ultimately they suggested it could be a problem with the stones in the wall. Disciple came out, recommended a strategy of replacing a couple of stones, re-pointing the rest of the area and applying sealant over the whole section. Work was scheduled promptly. The guys were very friendly and professional. The job was finished within 10 days (mortar needed to cure before sealant could be applied) and it looks great. Now we have to wait for a horrific rainstorm to see if that solves the problem.

Very frustrating as it's raining a lot lately and we want our external stucco wall repaired before any water damage occurs. I guess maybe they don't need my business? Can't say anything about their work but this customer service experience makes me question their reliability and attention to detail.
