My sister went in with long long hair, her hair reaches past her butt. She showed the stylist a wolf cut reference and the stylist said she knows how to cut it. my sister asked for the haircut with layers as well, she wanted to keep most of her length. However, the stylist did such an effortless and shitty job. She cut off way too much of my sisters hair, its now chest length, after years of growth, It's gone. i'm so angry, the layers are uneven, and choppy as fuck. nothing like the reference photo. my sister left with trying not to cry because her hair means so much to her. this place is such a disappointment and disgrace. read more

Awful haircut!! I expected a layered styling but what I got was just a crooked trim without any layers and one side is longer than the other and the person doing my hair refused to fix it. I've gotten better haircuts at half the price!! I would have given them zero stars if I could. Do not go here! They're way overpriced and do terrible work. Although the reply below promised further contact in nearly two weeks there has been none. I am neither surprised nor happy. Michelle (owner) is a liar and a greedy phony! Used a lame excuse to offer me NOTHING! This despite saying: "...we...will do whatever it takes to make it right." No one at this place cares how dissatisfied customers are so it's no surprise that they have more 1-star ratings than all other ratings combined - which they absolutely deserve. Stay away!! This place is filled with immature staff and an even more childish manager. My perm a while back didn't take so I had to go back multiple times, and I saw countless examples of unprofessional behavior. My stylist was super sweet, but she had to ask several people about what kind of perm to use. I had to come back twice to get it re-permed and I patiently re-scheduled due to the stylist not managing her time appropriately. When the manager found out it was a re-do, I heard him talking badly about me behind the partition/wall and acting like I was faking about needing it re-done!! The manager was talking snidely about a co-worker who wasn't there and said he would steal her gallon of milk and pretend he didn't know anything about it. On another day, one of the hair cutters talked badly about a customer who just left. The next visit, several of the stylists had a water balloon fight with the manager and they were extremely loud and annoying. The second perm didn't take so I asked for a refund. The manager never even called to discuss the matter. I will never go back to this or any other AZ Hair Company and this manager needs to be replaced! read more

The hair cut came out perfect because of Nicole however the receptionist is useless when it comes to anything related to having to do with hair !! She says ask the hair stylist about the questions you have etc then my daughter who is 5 wasn't a bug only 3 other people in the store and she tells my daughter stop spinning in the chair knowing it was no more than 3 spins my child isn't a untrained brat ! I give 3 stars because my horrible experience isn't the fault of Arizona Hair Co. I suffered the worst haircut of my life several months ago by the male stylist here. I even had a pic of what I wanted. What I got was nothing close to the pic. I went home and had my sister do what she could with it which was a significant improvement, but I literally had to grow it out for a few months before anything else could be done to fix it. I just moved here, thought this place looked nice so I decided to test it out. I called in and scheduled a haircut appointment a few days ahead of time. When I get there, the guy cutting my hair looks very confused, and about 2 minutes in he says "oh by the way I'm not a barber and I don't cut hair, I'm just helping fill in". Wtf is someone that has no clue how to cut hair doing there? If I wanted a 5 minute rushed haircut I could've just done it myself just as good. I had my haircut by Dan. I have medium length, straight fine hair, although a decent amount of it and wanted a health trim. Dan combed my hair and cut it dry, which is fine. My hair was clean and I have had other dry cuts. He cut straight along the back of my hair. Like 6 snips later and he said, "you're done!" He didn't cut it in sections or pull the hair away from the scalp at all. My mother gave me a similar hair cut during the pandemic. I didn't question his technique or lack there of as he obviously didn't know how to cut hair and I was somewhat grateful he didn't ruin it. I paid $22 and gave a tip (cause let's face it, this career probably won't last long and times are hard). I was in and out of the chair in 6 minutes, out of the salon in under 9 minutes. It was ridiculous. Dan was nice and courteous but he has no idea how to cut hair. read more

Not only did I not get what I asked for but my hair was ripped through by a comb and cut horribly. My bangs are uneven and too short and when the man said we were done my hair was unbrushed and soaking wet I ended up brushing it myself in store and leaving not even knowing what my hair looked like till it dried which was horrible. read more
