When they bid the work, I found the price reasonable and inline with market expectations. When Shadrach arrived, he immediately went to work. While here, he highlighted an additional piece. I completely agreed with the additional piece and asked for the work to be done. When I received the invoice, I worked with Steven, the field supervisor, in a very amicable manner. Simply put, they know what they are doing and they are very fair and honest. If I ever need electrical work again, I will certainly call T&K Electric. I must also point out I had to ask T&K to return. After the roofing and the electrical work, summer arrived. My air conditioning did not function. T&K returned as if it was simply expected. Steven conducted the inspection. He reported his findings and said he went as far as an electrician could go. When the HVAC company arrived, the HVAC technician showed me the defective part and stated clearly why the part failed. Meaning the issue was solely a result of HVAC normal wear and tear. I found working with T&K Electrical very comforting. Even when the issue didn't involve them, they were very willing to investigate. Clearly, T&K takes pride in their work and craft and confirms the work is done right. Highly recommend.

When I scheduled a service appointment, I was told there would be a two-month wait because they were backed up. I accepted that and waited. On the afternoon before the morning of my appointment, they called to cancel -- not to reschedule promptly, but to push me out another full month. No apology that meant anything until I confronted Deb. Her apology also meant nothing and I only got it after I confronted her with the poor treatment she gave me. And still no commitment to get anybody out any sooner than waiting another month. Just a well, I'll try but I can't promise you anything. No effort to prioritize a loyal customer with a significant investment. Just another delay with no end in sight. This is the kind of company that will take your money on the front end and leave you hanging on the back end. Loyal customers are not a priority here -- you are just a number in a queue. If you have a high-value system that depends on reliable maintenance, do yourself a favor and find a provider that will actually show up when they say they will. I understand when this was under old management, before the new owner took over, it was a well run company. But not now.

    I contacted them to find out if my over the range microwave was repairable without costing an arm…read moreand a leg. It as a 2010 model so it has some mileage In January it started flickering and going out. I would shake the power cord & plug it back it in and that fixed it.....for a short time. Then that stopped working. Then let it sit unplugged for days and plugged it in and got 2 to 3 uses of it before it did the same thing Reached out to Thomas Home Services via Thumbtack for a local repair vendor close to the house hoping I could take it down and just drop it off in their shop LIKE WE USE TO DO IN THE OLD DAYS. WELL, NO ONE DOES THAT ANYMORE I FOUND OUT. So I scheduled a tech to swing by the house for the min. rate which would be applied to the repair. Set it up for two Fridays ago and then waited, waited, waited and waited. No one came. Sent them a note and they did get back to me very apologetically and were very contrite. They just dropped the ball and failed to contact me. I was upset and was going to go to another vendor until the service manager reached out to me, Gary, who apologized and allowed me to swing by and drop it off which was a big deal for me since it would get done and I might? Save some $$ since they did not have to come to the house was my thought process. Dropped it off this past Monday and met with Gary and everything got soothed over and forgiven.. Gary got back to me on Thursday I want to say and let me know they got the microwave to power up yet none of the keyboard buttons would work and THEY DIDNT KNOW HOW TO FIX IT WITHOUT A TOTAL TEAR DOWN WITH FULL PART REPLACEMENT ALONG WITH KNOWING MANY OF THOSE PARTS FOR A 2010 JUST ARE NOT AVAILABLE. Plus the costs for doing that i.e. rebuilding the entire machine would exceed the price a new machine. So in the end I asked if they could take the machine, part it out, re cycle the parts and take any parts that they used in it to get the power working again. We both decided that we had hit the end of the trail. He recycled out the machine, and I found out if that microwave was worth repairing it & IT WASNT. Then out of nowhere Gary waived all the technical analytical costs given what had happened on the earlier appointment. I was duly impressed with his kind gesture, professionalism, responsiveness and honest candor on everything from the company to the staff responding to phone and e mail requests and the Service Manager Gary too. Insisted warranty change to them despite mixed review talk, but I relied on my past experience with them. Sure enough Riley came out and was amazing from start to finish. He communicating when coming, took time to answer questions, called on site like he said he would, a couple times, had parts on his truck, did what he could do on all fronts. Great experience, far exceeded even good expectations I had going in with them. Work line/office (Bree) was great, too. They answer their calls and super personable. Bree is a dedicated warranty person so knows a few more relevant details. Not sure why their overall rating is so low. It doesn't at all align with my experience twice over now. Thanks, again, Thomas team!
