Came here for an oil change while passing through on a work trip. I forgot to knock it out before I left so I took a chance and dropped in. The owner, Dave, was in store chatting with customers. They got me in and back on the road right away. Staff is great, oil change was fast and affordable. I would highly recommend Future Tire for both tires and maintenance. read more

I came into this place a couple of months ago, simple for a simple oil change. I was advised I need about $1700 of repairs, a test was done on my engine, which I didn't authorize and was shown what repairs was needed and what leaks were created, because I know what one spot looked liked. Needless to say, driving 9 miles what leaks were created my engine was a mess and fluids everywhere!!! I lost a day of work, car had to be towed to another place I was referred to and paid for repairs at this other place on town, which they were so reasonable to!!! I don't recommend this place at all from what I've learned since. read more

Aweful what a scam, they charge you for tools they don't even use! They told us it was $59.88 then charged me extra for equipment that wasn't even near the technician's hand. Technician was nice and helpful, seemed good at his job, although the office manager was a scammer 11/23/2019 Update my vehicle is due for another alignment in less than a year. Like many others, researching a safe and responsible shop to repair your vehicle is important. I do not live in Show Low permanently, but I do have a second home there and I find myself gradually coming more often. On a Sunday I drove from Phoenix to Flagstaff and continued to Show Low. Shortly after leaving Flagstaff, I noticed that my vehicle began to shake violently at speeds above 50 mph. Unfortunately for everyone else, it was 75 mph. Fortunately, I had a little extra time on Monday and Tuesday to research a facility that appeared to be reputable. A few places stood out so naturally, I was looking their way. Just to cover all the bases I called my neighbor to confirm my findings. They replied "Future Tire" without question. I am glad that was all on text or they would have seen the confused look on my face. However, my sights were set on a different shop with "higher-rankings". I even called that other place on Tuesday night to set an appointment. However, a rude person on the other end of the phone made it quite apparent that there are no appointments for anything to do with tires. "First come first serve", he replied with no personality other than maybe someone tired of answering the phone and possibly having to repeat that line many times throughout his arduous workday. On Wednesday morning I plugged that same (higher-ranked) repair shop into my GPS and began the three-mile drive there. At under two miles into my drive, I saw a sign for Future Tire and my gut directed me into their driveway. I quickly was face to face with a genuinely nice man who identified himself as, Dave. After a quick brief of what I thought was wrong with the vehicle, Dave replied by assuring me that he would check all tires for me and take care of it. I mentioned to Dave that I was going to call for an "Uber" to get a ride home. Dave gave me a look like a concerning police officer investigating a minor fender bender and gave off a slight chuckle and proceeded to say, "We don't have Uber here". His glance at me and back to his paperwork did not even last through the sentence. Dave took another look at me and said we will give you a ride home. Just then another "employee" walked in the front door only to be immediately asked if he could give me a ride home. Soon another nice man also named Dave asked if I was ready. He drove me home and said that they just started offering rides to their customers. He seemed caring and I felt he cared. I thought to myself that I was impressed with their employees taking ownership of simple problems for their customers. Dave was courteous and very nice. In my thoughts, I was wondering what he did for the company. As expected, I was promptly called and notified of the problem with my vehicle. I needed an alignment and a tire that they happily said they had the only one tire like that on the mountain. The second call from them was to inform me that they would send over a driver to pick me up and that the vehicle was fully repaired. The work was completed within a few hours and the total price was lower than I was expecting. When we returned, I told him how thankful I was for the transportation. Dave then referred that the "owner" of the company, the other Dave, is always willing to help in any way. I was stunned that the Dave that gave me a ride home was the owner of the company and was as down-to-earth and humble as they get. I felt I made a great decision going to Future Tire and they will be my go-to place moving forward. read more

I was driving my mom's car back home through the canyon when we ran out of oil (causing a slew of problems). I called another mechanic shop who said they were booked out for 2 weeks but to check with Firestone in Show Low. I took it in, they looked at it the same day, not only found the problem but also knew about an engine recall on the vehicle. They worked with a dealership in the valley to have our car towed there for free and all work was handled under the recall, not a thing out of pocket. Super friendly staff, would definitely recommend! read more

My grandfather was quoted $800 to replace a catalytic converter. The next business day we were told that they ordered the wrong part. It was suggested that they use a universal converter and they stated that they don't do welding. After searching for other alternatives no one in Show Low had solutions. We found a shop in Taylor to do the job for $150! Completely disappointed in what could be considered shady dealings toward an elderly man on a fixed income. Definitely would not reccomend this establishment. We will no longer do business with Future Tires after this outrageous ordeal. My grandfather was lucky that they ordered the wrong part and ended up not having to pay that ridiculous amount of money. read more

This place provided the most friendly staff we've encountered! We were just passing through, but our engine light and oil light can on. The staff were able to identify what our pickup needed and fixed in less than the time quoted to us. Thank you all so much!!! read more

Serious tire and alignment issues after car was rear ended by Navajo County residents that had no insurance through Safeco, Liberty Mutual, liars, not honorable, have to take them to Navajo County Attorney to seek some kind of remedy; Navajo County Gov not credible, so wish me luck. Future Tire Show Low AZ to the rescue, fixed me up with tires that got destroyed by rear end collision decimated my car, rear bumper, alignment Owner made me tea to calm my nerves, nicest guy, other staff helpful. If I could rate it a 0 star, I would. June 16th, we had a Bronco towed into Show Low because the front driver brake pad seized up and was rubbing, and brake fluid blew out of one of the lines near the master cylinder. They had the bronco in the shop for over an hour and we got a call saying that nothing was wrong with the brakes at all. So we went back, got charges $30+ dollars for them to inspect the breaks, and we left, assuming they actually found nothing wrong with the breaks. We got less than a few miles down the road, the bronco started pulling to the left, and smoke was coming from the left driver wheel area. The brake pad was still engaged and rubbing against the rotor. We managed to drive it to a Big O Tire down the road. Before even removing the tire, they found multiple things wrong. 1- pad was seized to the rotor 2- break line was pinched now allowing proper flow 3- 4 wheel drive became damage and disconnected, unable to be used, because it got so hot around the area around the rotor. So They inspected our Bronco for over an hour, told us nothing was wrong, and let us back out on the road with faulty breaks to go up and down a mountain back to the valley..... I had a bad experience long ago with them ruining a truck, and this is now the 2nd terrible experience with them. Not only wasting our time and money, but allowing us to go back out on the road with faulty breaks, risking our lives and others lives. read more

Their Pinetop store is a horrible place. As this is the same company, be careful. I had a tire with a slow leak and the Pintop store was close by. They went out of their way to be unpleasant. First Thing they said was: "we are not responsible for any damage we do your wheels." Huh? I've been driving for 50 years and so have bought new tires, had tires repaired etc. dozens of times and nobody's ever said that to me. Basically, they are asking my permission to damage my wheels without any recourse. So what incentive did they have not to damage my wheels? None. I need a new donut tire for my car, and so when I was paying my bill I gave the guy (a different guy-they are uniformly unpleasant here) the size and model number of the tire and asked him to look up the price. He said "well I can't do that now! I have all these people waiting behind you". Apparently he was too stupid to realize he was waiting on me at the time. I was not asking to be served ahead of somebody else. The tire repair turned out to be very simple. The tire was in perfect condition but was leaking air from the rim where there was a bit of corrosion. So they put a bit of sealer around the rim to solve the problem. For this they charged me $25. Discount Tire goes this sort of thing for free. They realize if you treat customers well, you just might return there to buy tires. There is no way I would ever return to this tire store for anything. I learned too late that there is a Discount Tire in Show Low. read more

Best place to take your car on the mountain. I recently had my water pump fail, and the technician was able to get my car back up in running in less than 3 hours. Great customer service, the owner went out of his way to ensure I was receiving the best service! Wish there were more honest companies like this in Arizona. read more

I am so thankful for these guys. Their customer service is way beyond 5 star. We lost a bolt on our trailer and they had us back on the road in less than am hour. This bolt is special order and kyle drove all over the mountain looking for it. Then even gave us a discount because they thought they took too long. Sitting here waiting for an alignment as the manager talks smack about a potential customer who just came in. The guy asked for a printed quote (so that he can obtain a quote from discount tire) and she proceeded to belittle him for attempting to shop around. Now that he's gone, she has engaged the whole staff to complain about the oddacity of this man. Maybe instead of a whining that customers are price shopping you should offer lower prices. And just an FYI future tire, I did t even need a printed to quote to have discount tire beat your prices by a mile. I'll be shocked if this business is still around in two years. read more

Quite pleasant when selling you tires. I purchased 4 to the tune of $600. Two days later they ran an ad for a free alignment with purchase of 4 new tires. They would not honor it and charged me $156. I won't purchase my next set of tires there. Yes, I realize it was two days later, but it would have been good customer service to honor it or suggest I wait two days. I also purchase the tire guarantee with free rotation & balancing when I purchased my tires so we will see if they honor that. Next time I will go to Discount Tire. read more

Horrible customer service!! They kept trying to have me pay for them to "fix" things I knew were not a problem. We spent $800 on tires and were treated as though we were an inconvenience to them! I will never go back to future tire. I will never recommend their store to anyone. Their store "manager" Kathy is the worst. I still am shocked at how unprofessional she is for being in a manger position and doing everything in her power to NOT please the customer. They only replace with their own parts. I was told by a local mechanic that their alignment system was old but I went there anyway. I never got the alignment because I was told I needed another part which cost alot more if I got it from Future Tire. A few days later I showed up with the part I ordered myself. They tell me they can only replace with their parts. Trips here were a waste of my time but at least the mechanics in the back seem to know what theyre talking about because another local tire place totally missed the part that needed to be replaced. At least they didnt try to sell me a tire like big o. this is a small town and sometimes you just need a mechanic to fix your car without them trying to sell you their products or telling you they cant fix it because of a policy....chain shops i tell ya. read more
