Alright Mr. Ingram, if you actually inspected the saws like you say you did can you please tell me how you did it without disturbing any of the sawdust or oil that the saws are both covered with? The saw that you said was beyond fixing runs great just needs a small gas leak fixed and if you would have done as asked it's a small job. Contrary to some reviews, I have to say the owner some might refer to is Mad Brad?! Should be referred to as Bad Brad (the good bad)! He has excellent knowledge of products that are not "off brand." He has helped in resolving issues I have had with my Honda mower and Echo weed eater. Not only has he helped me but in the process has saved me from buying a new motor. His expertise is unparalleled. It's a busy shop, line maybe long however, the "free" knowledge is definitely worth it. After being flagstaff for the last 20 years I am happy to keep my dollars local. Overpriced on parts and services . Poor customer service. Look to Cal Ranch for your Stihl parts. Way cheaper and have some parts on hand, they don't charge for shipping. Flag tool and engine is another option for lawnmowers, generators, and small engines. Even Amazon got my lawnmower parts faster and cheaper. I walked into this establishment today to purchase chains for my Ariens snowblower only to be treated with the treated with the worst customer care in history. There's just no way this business can be surviving based on these owners. Someone open something in Flagstaff and show these people how to do things right. Headshake. Drive to Cottonwood where on Western Dr just as you're coming into town there's another small engine repair center, much bigger too, with way better service. Not sure what was going on in 2015 but I had a great experience dealing with the owner this winter (2016/2017). Worked with me fairly to transport my snowblower to/from the shop and fixed it for a reasonable price after I exhausted all of the basics. Repair was legit. November 10 2018 I brought my snowblower in for a different issue versus 2016/17. On a very busy morning Brad identified the issue from our discussion, showed me where and why I missed it. Sold me the screws I needed. I fixed it at home on under 3 minutes. Less than $5 charge for the parts. Appreciate the honesty and helpfulness! read more

I had done business with this company in the past, therefor I didn't give it much thought when it came to repairs on Husqvarna 455 rancher chainsaw. I called them about a half hour prior to my arrival, to ask them if they could do a tune up on is chainsaw. I let them know that I needed it to be adjusted and the tech told me " well that is your opinion!". I know what a 2 cycle engine runs like when its running rich or lean and based on my knowledge I knew that this chainsaw needed adjustment. When I arrived at the store I waited approximately about 20 minutes. The tech came out and told me that my carburetor adjustment screw was STRIPPED and it was MISSING therefore he couldn't adjust the idle. Well if my carb adjustment screw was missing then how could he tell it was stripped? He then snapped my chain and said I was running my chain to tight. I asked how much to fix the chainsaw? I was told 125.00. I told him that I was going to take it to a certified Husqvarna tech located at the true value total rental store on Huntington Blvd in Flagstaff, then tech then got an attitude and told me maybe you should, he then stormed off to the back like a hurt puppy. They then charged me a minimum charge of 20.00, I guess thats the going price for bad attitude these days. I did decide to buy a new chain for my smaller chainsaw despite the poor customer service. I then drove five minutes to the real mechanic at The True Value Total rental and dropped off the 455 rancher and the next day I got a call telling me that my chainsaw was fixed. The total cost was 14.00! He replaced the adjustment screw, changed the spark plug, and cleaned it up. Took about fifteen to twenty minutes. I can say for sure that I will never go back to AZ power and lawn, what a classless operation. All I can say is that I'm glad I didn't buy my bcs 749 tractor from this joke of a place. read more

Stay away from this aggressive owner. I brought my mower in for a simple diagnostic, and 6 weeks later it still hadn't even been looked at. I informed the owner on the phone I was coming to pick it up, and he cussed and hung up on me. It went downhill fast when I showed up to pick it up. It was SO bad, I reported him to the Police. Never EVER again will they get any of my business, or anyone that I know. Many, many swear words were screamed at me by the OWNER. What a joke for "customer service"!!!! read more

A couple weeks ago my husband and my dad took our $2000 dollar generator for a tune up because it had been sitting with gas in it for a while and we decided to get it ready for the winter. The man estimated $75-$100 for the tune up. Well they called yesterday telling us that it was ready and would cost $191 because they had to replace the battery because it was cross-wired and could have "blown-up on us". This generator has only been used once in it's life and so for it to be cross-wired it would have had to come from the manufacturer like that since we've never taken it apart and done anything to it. This whole thing smells like a scam. So we went to go pick it up and I asked them why they didn't call first if there was going to be extra work that would cost extra money. The man immediately went on the defensive and said "I don't have time to call people every 5 minutes to talk". To which I said it's bad business to not call your customers about problems and then just go ahead and fix them without their permission and charge them double your original estimate. Then the accented woman at the front desk chimed in by saying, "It's the general rule of thumb that if you buy something for $2000 it's worth fixing for $200 rather than buying a new one". What the hell kind of comment is that? So I said "It's the general rule of thumb to call your customers and show customer service if you're going to charge them more for work they didn't ask for". After that the man started to cut back on his attitude and offered to put the old battery back in, which I probably should have had them do, but based on their attitudes I thought he might try to do damage to it and it would end up costing more down the road. He discounted it by $41 and we took it and our chainsaw which they hadn't begun the work on yet because I have no idea what they would say is wrong with that and how much they would decide to charge us for. We will never go back there and I hope others won't either. read more

Last winter we stopped in to look at snow throwers & found this family run business to be knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Their prices were quite competitive with the big box competition and they service the products they sell. So far we have not had to bring our thrower (my wife named "Snowzilla") in for service.
