I can't say enough good things about Jae Lee and Ark Auto Solutions! About a year ago, I brought my wife's Honda in when one of the rear shock mounts needed work. Jae took care of it quickly, professionally, and at the best price out of all the shops I had reached out to. The quality of service and honesty really stood out to me. Fast forward a year later, the other rear shock mount needed replacing, and we were also dealing with a frustrating issue of rodents chewing through the EPS harness. I asked Jae if I could bring him a new harness and have it installed with added protection using flexible metal conduit and rodent tape. Without hesitation, he told me it would be no problem. I dropped the car off at his shop, and a few days later it was ready, problem solved. Everything was wrapped and secured exactly the way I requested, giving me peace of mind. But I have to be honest that they have always been honest and fair in their dealings with me. So please do not schedule with them when I am in need of car service. Jae immediately impressed me by his knowledgeable response for my 2004 Honda Accord. We discussed the immediate problem on Thursday evening and his service fees were reasonable and appropriate. He provided drop off for me which I greatly appreciated. Friday morning, a 10am drop off and he had already identified the shifter issue by 11. He accurately and promptly resolved it(Another shop didn't have clue put my shifter together incorrectly and told me I needed a shifter assembly). Diagnostic testing ran as I was awaiting my ride resulted in some agreed on additional repairs with OEM parts (my request). Monday at 11am my car had been repaired with everything back to normal. I was having a problem with my car being sluggish when I would start it up. I took it Valvoline and had the battery tested and was told my battery was fine and the issue was with either my starter or alternator. I decided to come here based on the great reviews and have my car checked to see what was going on. IT WAS THE BATTERY! Mr. Dave replaced it and I was on my way. Dave's Auto is a small auto repair shop specializing in Honda and Toyota's. I have been taking all of my cars that are out of warranty there for service for many years. Dave is a really trustworthy guy that will only fix what's needed/required to be fixed. He will tell you to wait if it will function properly for months or years longer and to bring it back later. I first met him when on a referral I went to his shop for a timing belt on a used Honda I purchased. he actually found a dated label showing a new timing belt that was installed 10K miles before. He showed me the label, didn't charge me for the time and I've been coming back ever since for all my cars and now my kids go there too. read more

Should have posted this review many years ago about Dave Griffin Auto in Longwood, FL. I have been with these guys since 2001 and have never had a negative experience. The only disappointments were two when I bought an Audi and a Subaru - both makes they do not service. Although I did not have any major issues with the Audi and Subaru, I would have felt better to have these cars under their care. I'm convinced that Honda dealerships will do their very best to drain your wallet. My dad was a Ford mechanic many years ago and was an automatic transmission expert. He eventually opened his own shop (across the street from my middle school) and I spent many afternoons there after school. He taught me quite a bit a about cars over the years so I have been doing maintenance and repair on our cars for quite some time. When I needed help to get a timing belt replaced I brought the Honda to Dave. When the Honda starter went out I brought it to Dave. When the rear caliper on the F-150 was sticking I brought it to Dave. If the Sante Fe or Highlander presents an issue I'll bring 'em to Dave (we have 3 kids who drive so we have 4 cars total). Ok, So it is hard to write this because I think so highly of Dave that I like that I can get my car fixed here. He is amazingly knowledgeable and fair. Guy is his right hand and the both of them are very experienced and awesome. At one point, I owned three Honda's and Dave worked on all three. One was a 1994 Honda Accord that we kept for 20 years!! I blame Dave for keeping it running sooo well. My son drove it all through college. We sold it with 240k and still running strong. He is honest and up front with everyone. Sometimes you may not like what he finds wrong with your car, but he has been right on with his diagnosis every time. read more
