This included removal of the old units and ductwork, new ducting throughout, a two-zone ducted heat pump system with two new air handlers, an outdoor heat pump, and a ceiling-mounted cassette unit for our primary suite (a room that gets a lot of direct sun and had always been tough to keep cool with the old system). Teodor, our project manager, did a great job assessing our home and specifying the system. The installation crew, Azamat and Val, did excellent, careful work removing the old system, running new ductwork, and installing all the new equipment. The install took about 7 days. Communication was great throughout; scheduling, installation, and permitting all went smoothly.

Beyond what they needed to do, Lex walked through things that would be checked by the inspectors even on work they didn't do (GFCI plugs close to where the old unit was), and walked me through why they did some of the things they did because I was curious. We're 3 days in so far, but the installation experience was great, and the daikin system is cooling the house great (and I can already see from the energy monitoring systems we have, it's so much more efficient!).

We finally scheduled and he did an excellent job moving our lighting fixtures as well as installing medicine cabinets in a clean fashion! He is very personable (even my 2 year old enjoyed seeing him!), and a perfectionist. He is thoughtful and clean as well. He took a bit of time to complete our job, but was a pleasure to work with and was flexible and worked hard to complete the task. He even went above and beyond and notified us of other concerns he saw in our home (ie our water heater temperature was scalding and could have burned our kid!) We needed a 240v outlet in our garage to charge a new electrical vehicle…read more Our electrical panel is located as far from the garage as possible, so the work required adding a new 240v breaker to the panel, running a cable up from the panel into the attic, running through the attic to a different corner of the house, continue on the garage ceiling, and finally coming down to a junction box and an outlet the car could plug into. Jose is a great guy. He came promptly, quickly appraised the situation and came up with a plan. He then took care of obtaining the permit from Mountain View, conducted the job efficiently, and was very amenable for some small changes in the plan that I suggested along the way. He is also very responsive to text messages. The breaker that he installed turned out to be defective. Within hours after he heard about it he came over and replaced the breaker.
