My advice don't waste your money!!!!!!! Little Rock tours…read more Makes the bulk of their money on selling tours to Seniors and must rely on them not reviewing them on line. Because my bus was filled to capacity of dissatisfied, l feel "Cheated" travelers by this company. Any time they offer an extra excursion that includes dinner or lunch and a show, what you get is a Bad Cold sandwich, hardly any meat , a bag of chips a cookie and a coke. I was never so hungry. Until I stopped waiting for their lunch and took advantage of the wonderful restaurants all around me. I would have done better to skip, "their "$50.00 per person dinner and a show". The performances offered were a kiddy magic show and singing by the tour company owner's daughter. We had no problems with our bus but it was the beginning of the season. Never again !!!!!!'

Before getting to an attraction, two grueling days of riding, stopping for the restroom, tight seats, not enough meals included in this over $2,100 trip, no maps to locate a restaurant, stopping points were only locations were profit making commission for Little Rock, most hotels were rated 3 star, some hotels floors were filthy, the tour guide was not the best, treated us like school children. This 14 day bus trip was not worth the money. YOU MUST PAY IN FULL BEFORE ITINERARY IS AVAILABLE, SO WATCH OUT! Some people became very ill on this very crowded bus.

Due to a big rain earlier, we could not take the trip we had signed up for, but he worked with us and got us out on a different nearby river. My son and I got what amounted to a private tour on the water. He's a knowledgeable guy and very nice. Little Rock is a very beautiful area and Sam took us pretty deep into it. We learned a lot of the history and the natural features of the area, got in a pretty good workout, and had a great time. Sam also does bike tours and will tour the Arkansas River in the downtown area on kayaks and can also go out on a barge. We would do everything with him if time permitted but we were only there for a day. Time permitting, we will be back there one day and I'm hoping sooner rather than later. If you're in Little Rock I highly recommend look up Sam Ellis at Rock Town River Outfitters.

Service over the phone and inside the River Market location was very helpful. Make sure to get the QR code for the river trail route on Google Maps! The bike I rented was the most basic one, but very comfortable and was a smooth ride. Very happy they provide a helmet. I rented in December and the weather was just right. I just sweated a bit pedaling through the wind to get to the Big Dam Bridge! I also got to see the beautiful fall foliage. Again, highly recommend biking to see some of Little Rock's awesome sites and get a taste of nature.

I would recommend the sampler that came with onion rings, cheese fries, chicken bites (get the dry rub!), and egg roll boudin. This place is so secure in the quality of the beer that they offer that our bartender actually recommended that we go to another place to compare: Moody Brews a couple of miles south. We decided to stay for a while and sample the beers at this place instead, playing rummy and watching a bowl game on TV. A perfect spot for all of that!!

Stopped into Flyway Brewing on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised by how quiet it was. The…read morerestaurant was clean, comfortable, and had the music at exactly the right volume present enough to create atmosphere without making conversation difficult. Nothing felt overwhelming or overdone, which made for a relaxed experience. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Water hit the table in under two minutes, and our beers arrived in less than five. That's the kind of efficiency every restaurant should strive for. Now for the food: * Cheese Curds ($8) - These arrived piping hot and fresh from the fryer. The curds themselves were crispy but fairly bland on their own. The ranch and Mimi's Red Sauce did a lot of the heavy lifting here and elevated the dish significantly. * Queso ($8, plus $2 for chorizo) - Very basic. Not bad, but not memorable either. It tasted like melted Velveeta with a little extra liquid mixed in. Perfectly edible, just lacking any standout flavor. * Pretzel ($6) - Easily one of the highlights of the meal. They accidentally brought us the espresso pretzel first before correcting it with the plain version we ordered. Surprisingly, both were excellent. Soft, fresh, and flavorful. * Smash Burger & Fries ($17) - The fries were fantastic: hot, crispy, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. The burger itself was average--exactly what you'd expect from a mid-range brewery restaurant. Good, but not something I'd specifically come back for. * Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries ($15) - The low point of the meal. The sweet potato fries were cold, stale, and honestly should never have left the kitchen. The chicken sandwich wasn't much better. The breading was overcooked to the point of tasting burnt, and there wasn't much flavor beyond that. * Bacon-Wrapped Quail Sliders - Another average offering. Not bad by any means, but nothing that stood out or justified ordering again. The beer is clearly the star of the show here. Flyway knows how to brew, and that's what would bring me back. The food ranges from good to disappointing, with only a few items really standing out. Overall: * Beer: 4/5 * Food: 2/5 * Service: 5/5 Flyway Brewing is worth visiting for the beer, atmosphere, and service. Eat because you're there, not because you're searching for an exceptional meal. If the kitchen can become as consistent as the brewery, this place could be something special.

I'm not sure if they have a parking lot since u walked there, but it seems like they have plenty of street parking since I saw a lot of people parking on various sides of the museum. The museum itself was really interesting and even though it was small it was very informative and provided ample methods of learning the information, including videos, audio, timelines, and other information.

This integration was considered a test of Brown v. Board of Education that found that "separate but equal" was unconstitutional. The National Historic Site consists of the Visitor Center/Museum, Little Rock Central High School (which is still an operating school), the Commemorative Garden, the Magnolia Mobil Station (which served as an impromptu press base), and the Elizabeth Eckford Bus Bench. It is managed by the National Park Service. Admission is free and they allow photos. The museum is small and does not take very long to walk through, though it will take some time if you read all of the panels and watch the videos. They offer guided tours on certain days. If you're doing a self-guided tour, you cannot enter the school. Central High School is very beautiful. The architecture is a blend of Art Deco and Gothic Revival. Climbing the stairs was an extremely heavy feeling that I wasn't prepared for. As I ascended the stairs, I imagined what it would have felt like to walk through angry mobs just to go to school. It was honestly overwhelming and I don't know if I would have been able to endure such hatred and discrimination. I'm grateful to the Little Rock Nine for their courage, perseverance, and resiliance.
