We hired Mark, who said he was bringing an assistant. My husband and I interviewed Mark…read morespecifically and felt comfortable with him. But he was not at the wedding, but two of his employees were? He did not tell me he would not be at the wedding. The staff who were there did not exude a positive or cheery attitude with my guests, my vendors, or with my family. Specifically, he was rude to my mom. I refer to the staff as "DJ Timbo." My mother (I'm still incredulous at this) had to interfere when DJ Timbo blocked my bartenders in on the porch with their equipment. DJ Timbo even floated the idea of an additional setup fee since he had to move his equipment off the porch after his initial set up on the porch (this was NEVER in our plan in the first place and Kim never mentioned this to me) to the lawn - which was the original plan when he and I were coordinating in person. The original plan was for the bartenders to be on the porch, always. The rain plan was for the bartenders to set up inside the Baker, or inside the Blue House, and the DJ would be on the porch. But the rain plan was not needed. DJ Timbo (and my wedding planner) thought music had to stop at 10pm or we would be fined due to a sound ordinance. A staff from the setup/tear down team called the Argenta police to inquire. We only had to turn down the music to be compliant. The Baker is a downtown venue where bars and restaurants are just down the street. When we found out the music could continue, we had already played our final 2 exit songs, which was so disappointing! When I told staff at the Baker what had happened, they were shocked because the sound ordinance should have been a non-issue. Guests were under the impression that dancing would stop and the reception would potentially need to move to a bar down the street because my husband and I were given the wrong information. DJ Timbo started to tear down about 10:15pm even though we had paid him through 11pm. My mom stopped him. Also, DJ Timbo played 3 group dance songs in a row, which felt excessive. I would have preferred them to be split up throughout the night, or have 1-2 normal songs in between.

I do not recommend Kimber Decor for weddings. There were written directions and requests I made,…read moreand she acknowledged, that were not completed during my wedding. These directions includes not setting water pitchers at guest tables or distributing confetti poppers to guests, to use right after the ceremony. The original contract I signed was unavailable to view the week before my wedding, and when I followed up with her, she did not send me a new copy. She told me reception music had to stop at 10pm, when in fact, music could have gone on (which it did) until 11pm. As a result, my husband and I played our final 2 exit songs way too early in the reception, which was so disappointing to us.

Kim Trell claims that she has been in the wedding coordinating business for over 15 years yet, she…read morelacks the capacity to speak to her clients kindly. My family was interested in her services because she had amazing reviews but she obviously had no interest in being apart of my sisters special day. My family had communicated with her and she agreed on the terms and the date of the wedding. After a few weeks we message her again and she responds by saying that she wasn't going to work with us because we never paid her. Wait what? Our bill was never sent to us, the pricing was never discussed, and she just removed us from her list because she failed to inform us about when to pay and how much? It was very unfortunate but we're really glad that she showed her true colors. She just couldn't admit that she was wrong, and that is definitely not the type of person we would want to help plan such an important day. Thank you Kim Trell, we will kindly take our business elsewhere in hopes that you won't treat any of your future clients in this manner.

Being a wedding planner, I offered to plan their entire wedding long distance. I found Tyler by chance through Google, and saw he was the most highly rated videographer in the greater Little Rock area, and I now know why. We hired him to do both ceremony and outdoor photography and ceremony videography for my brother's full military wedding. He did a spectacular job capturing the emotion of the day. The only issue we had wasn't with him, but with the base chapel not allowing him to tap into the mic system to better hear the vows, and the guard shack losing his approval to get on base (the morning of the wedding!). With my brother deploying to the Middle East less than a month after the wedding, Tyler quickly got the photos online so my brother would be able to access them and see how the day ended up. He also got us the DVDs in time to be sent out for Christmas to the parents and bride and groom. I would not hesitate to recommend Tyler for both photography and videography for a wedding. I will say though that if it's a military wedding, make sure the shack doesn't lose his clearance the morning of, so that he can get onto base early and get everything set up. His professionalism, quality, and artistry make for amazing memories preserved for you, and his pricing is perfect. He is one of the nicest and most honest people I've ever worked with in this industry, and I would not hesitate to recommend him, or even use him myself (if only he was up in NY when I get married :/)
