I've been going to Lernik for almost two years now, and she has failed to ever disappoint me. For starters, she is always willing to make time, and accommodations for me. If I walk in, she'll squeeze me in before her next client. If I'm running late, and it's passed closing time, she will wait a few moments for me as I frantically arrive. If I make an appointment, she's ready for me right as I arrive. Customer service is on point all the time. And all this excludes her exceptional talent for eyebrow threading. She is truly an artist, to say the least. She takes her time and does a meticulous job. I recently moved to Tujunga and was looking for a nail place closer to home (my last one is in Northridge). I am picky about my nails and found Arle's on Yelp, so I thouhgt I would give it a try. I'm probably going to butcher her name, but Karine is amazing! She is so thorough and makes sure you're happy. The woman who does the threading (I sorry I haven't gotten her name yet) did my eyebrows and did a fantastic job! Both women are very accommodating and ensure you are comfortable while you are there. Very unprofessional. I called and said I need a "threading" appointment and she didn't ask what I want to thread. When I got there even minutes before my appointment she tells me she booked me for brows and not the service I wanted and sent me away instead of accommodating. If there's such rules then why not ASK while booking an appointing instead of making someone waste an hour of their time. read more

I was recommended this place by someone I know and I absolutely loved it. Both the owner and the nail tech are very sweet. I am soooo picky when it comes to my nails like the littlest things will bother me, but the nail tech did an amazing job. She was very detailed and she took her time. Just had my first appointment with Lernik today!! She was so sweet and amazing. She noticed me tensing up because I ALWAYS get super-rigid when I'm in the threading chair in anticipation of the pain lmao but she asked me if I was okay - that's when I relaxed and realized how gentle her threading was. I have had such bad experiences in the past with waxing and a different person threading my eyebrows, but I don't have to worry about that stress anymore. I was referred to Lernik by my coworker Amy who has been going to her for some time now. Let me just tell you how much I love the convenient location, cleanliness, and my eyebrows! I went in with ugly thinning eyebrows and she made them look thicker than what I had. She spent a lot of time on them and it shows in the end. I have been here twice and I have been spacing out my visits to a month. My eyebrows don't grow, so a month is enough time for her to have something to cut, tweeze, and shape. I've been getting my eyebrows done by Lernik for over a year now, and I have never been happier with my eyebrows. I get so many compliments on my eyebrows! I naturally have thick eyebrows that grow in very quickly, so its difficult for me to find someone who can shape my eyebrows well, and consistently get the same shape every single time. Lernik is extremely attentive. Don't be afraid to tell her you want to change something about your eyebrows! She will listen to you, which is something that is extremely rare, in my opinion. She's great at what she does, and is one of the nicest people I've ever met. They always accommodate next day or walk in appointments, which is awesome too! I don't know what happened this time. Same girl, same circumstances, but got to my car and realized that there were... -Tons of random hairs that she left. -My eyebrows are now uneven - She left hairs the first time I went in so that some areas would fill in and then I didn't touch my brows for two weeks so she had plenty of real estate to work with. She made them way skinner and my right and left brows don't even match now. -I was going to go back in but I was afraid she'd take more off. -I will be penciling them in for awhile. read more

I love this place! I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for over a decade at various places. I used to have a regular spot, and lady, when I lived up in the bay area, but struggled to find a consistently good place when I moved to Los Angeles. I have to say, I have been to Arle's Beauty Lounge for the past 4 session and they are my eyebrows are threaded consistently and beautifully. I am never disappointed. They always look amazing and make a HUGE difference to my face. My eyes just seem to light up!! Cannot recommend enough.
