Let me start off by saying that my experience here was fantastic all thanks to Neda! This was my first time at their new location. It is right off the freeway and they have designated retail parking spots for customers. The salon is quaint and quiet, with a seated waiting area. My experience with Neda was amazing, to say the least. I have not gotten my brows + upper lip threaded in a long time (before the pandemic), so my pain threshold was lower than anticipated. But she talked me through it and tried to be as gentle as possible, while we chatted amongst ourselves. She kept it professional, but also warm and it made the experience all the better. I plan on going back in four weeks, but it's so nice that Ziba offers automatic rescheduling. So, you don't have to book the appointments yourself every time. Very convenient! I had a similar experience as others here, I wanted to love this place because it's in walking distance of where I live! Unfortunately I won't be returning. I booked the $19 brow cleanup online as opposed to the $25 'brow shaping'. When I got in she did my brows but when I went to pay she charged me the $25. When I clarified that's not what I booked she said I had waited too long since my last appointment (it was the second time I was there, it had probably been 3 months) and that my brows were too overgrown for just a cleanup. She did not apologize, in fact I was made to feel ashamed that I didn't book the appropriate service. First of all, if there is a regulation like this it needs to be stated on the website when people are booking. But how can they know how long it's been since your last appt unless it was also with them? She also should've told me as soon as I sat down in the chair that she wouldn't be able to do what I booked and that there would be an additional charge. The actual brow work was fine but the poor customer service and sus business practices turned me off forever. read more

I used to have Priti for years, then Ned's was always so nice, professional and friendly. Doing a great job with my eyebrows. As I am new in the area I really wanted to like this place. Especially because they got me in quick and were very friendly but I wont be going back. I specifically asked for a brow cleanup (I don't have much hair on my eyebrows to begin with so usually this takes 2 min) on the site it said $19 for cleanup which is already a bit pricey but I thought it would be fine as long as they looked nice. After the woman was done and gave me the mirror I was shocked. She threaded off the entire tail on my left side and left some of it on the right but totally took away the shape of the brow it used to arc and then had a tail to meet the end of my eye. Now one looks higher arched then the other and the tail is completely gone on one. I go to checkout and it's $25 and she is standing over me asking for the tip. I've never paid more than $15 for a brow cleanup in my life not to mention to get totally uneven brows. read more

Priti is no longer here but they have her on the schedule. They won't let you know she quit until you get there. She was the BEST for years. My boyfriend called and they said she was still there AFTER I went in and they confirmed she no longer works there. Not sure why they're claiming she's still accepting appointments. If you're expecting her don't show up... you'll be disappointed. My eyebrows were cleaned up, but not shaped well and missing some hair. Definitely not coming back. read more

I've been coming to this location for nearly 5 years. My go-to girl use to be Edith. She knew how thick or thin I wanted my eyebrows every single time. When she left I flipped flopped between girls. Red was my second go-to girl but I recently heard she no longer works at this location. All the good girls keep leaving. I recently stopped by since I was in the mall and got a clean up. I don't remember her name but she did an excellent job on my brows. She even went to far as to fill in my eyebrows free of charge. No one has ever filled in my eyebrows before not even Edith or Red. She was an older Indian lady - very gentle and very kind. I wish they would add the name of the person who helps you out on your receipt. It would make it so much easier for those of us who can't memorize names. I don't come here as often anymore cause it is a bit expensive. My usual threading places only charges $8 and they do an excellent job. Here they charge $14 or $15. Can't keep track of the prices anymore. Every other month they raise the prices. It can get busy on certain days especially at a busy mall like the Glendale Galleria but their professionalism and politeness never wavers. I highly recommend Roubina's work. They do threading here instead of waxing your eyebrows. They even color in your brows for you if you like. Call first because sometimes you have a wait. There is a reward system here so be sure to get a card. There's one person who knows how to do henna. Cost depends on the size of the tattoo. Lasts about a week. You can add glitter also. read more

I've been a customer at Ziba for years. Started in Arcadia, went to the Pasadena location, and drive to Glendale as that's the only one left closest to me. All I have to say is lady working the third chair I'm appalled by the service of my most recent visit. Prior to the service we agreed just a clean up of my eyebrow hairs and no going thinner. My left eyebrow is the thinnest I've ever seen!!! It's uneven with my left and the arches are different. I spoke up to the technician and showed her, visibly upset that it was so thin. She didn't bother to offer to fix it or even it out, she just proceeded to the payment machine and stuck her hand out for payment. I'm fully aware that eyebrows are sisters and not twins, but my eyebrows are strangers at this point. Disappointed in the quality of service. read more

The lady working at 12pm on July 3rd took a CHUNK out of my left eyebrow then tried to blame it on my "difficult hairs" and on a (nonexistent) scar. She knew she messed up and didn't take ownership of her mistake. I'm a polite person. I paid and gave her a tip. But I have NEVER had someone complain about my eyebrow hair and mess up my eyebrows this badly in the 15+ years I've been getting my eyebrows threaded. If you're going here I recommend Priti or Darius. Be careful if it's anyone else. She even took a picture for a "before" picture and didn't take an after picture because she did a terrible job. Sorry downgrading to a 2! They've done it again ! The customer service or lack there of here ....... SUCKS !!!! When they get nice desk people, they leave and go somewhere else. Today while waiting over and hour, I experienced the same thing from the girls at the front desk !!! I was told to come at a particular time, got there on time, and they let two people go in front of me without saying a single word to me about it !!! It wasn't like they were unusually crowded either. When I went up to inquire what the issue was I was told I would be next because an appointment got there before I got there ... What ? She didn't tell me anything about an appointment when I first signed in, this sounded like an excuse to me. While I waited just to find out what was going on, they didn't even bother to acknowledge my presence enough to say, I'll be right with you or anything.(there were two front desk girls at the counter).
