From You Flowers, for example, wanted a $35 service fee & coupon was a word in that country did not understand...it was a true nightmare with these overseas/out of US countries. The flowers that were delivered to my house today are absolutely beautiful. So there's definitely four stars but I would like to give an additional 10 stars to the delivery person. They rang the doorbell. I didn't have a chance to get to the door in time- they did wait a minute or so for me, which was very very pleasant. But then they followed up with a phone call to tell me there was a delivery at my front door! That is amazing customer service. I find it always a beautiful thing to have flowers delivered - especially when it's for a joyous occasion, this was definitely a joyous occasion. I also find it a beautiful thing when customer service is truly shown, as this delivery driver did. a minute agoNew-Edit Delete Ordered flowers for my daughter for Valentine's Day, with extra delivery charges incurred to get them there. Explained that my daughter worked until 2pm & delivery would need to be made prior to that time. The order was placed & the $$$ received. My daughter waited for over an hour after she got off work for the plant to be delivered, until which time she had to leave to go out of town for the weekend. I contacted the manager at 3:30 & explained the issue. I asked for delivery charges to be comped & she promptly refused, explaining that she had to pay the driver for delivery. Her offer to "make it good" was to bring the flowers back to the florist & wait till another day to deliver them. The flowers were for Valentine's Day. I don't need them delivered another day. I needed them delivered today. If you take someone's money for a product & extra $$$ for delivery, you should make sure the flowers can be delivered before the receiver is unavailable to receive. Update: I was told that I would receive notification from the florist that the flower had been delivered. I did not. Instead, I had to call my daughter's workplace to ask if the flower had been delivered. I've just received a (return) call from my daughter's workplace informing me that the delivery has just been made... @ 6pm. (They didn't receive any compensation for this information.) 0 stars Never again. read more

The website said some substitutions may have to be made because of supply problems...so I wasn't sure what would be sent. Arlington Flower Shop went above and beyond the call of duty. Such sweet people. Went in for some baby breath to add something nice to my dorm and they were happy to help! I was a little worried about the price as bouquets can be very expensive, but it was a reasonable price, only 2.50 per stem, which all I needed was a few! The store itself is very cute too! Used in the past and the order was all wrong, flowers looked old, and they put a Happy Birthday balloon instead of Anniversary. Instead of being apologetic they were defensive. Told them to pick up, did not want to replace and would not use them again. Today I used an online reputable company to send flowers. They Look nothing like the photo. Online company said they will have them remake or have another florists do them. I won't know until tomorrow. I asked friend who the florist was that delivered them, Arlington Flower Shop. I was not surprised. The arrangement looked messy, no where near as full as the photo and not even the right flowers. I emailed them photos, so we'll see. However, as in previous order, they were for a special occasion. Having to return and resend takes away from the magical moment when you expect them to get a beautiful bouquet. Overall we were happy with the flowers we sent to our loved one, however, they weren't nearly as full as what was pictured on their website. A lot more greenery was used than expected which is really just a filler and not what we wanted to pay for. I also sent an email to asking a question and never got a response. FALSE ADVERTISING. Long distance relationships are hard, which is why this anniversary gift to my service man needed to be extra special. The absolute very first question I asked when I called in 2 weeks in advance was "Do you deliver on base?". The woman on the other end of the line assured me "of course" and I even asked a second time to give her the opportunity to see how important this delivery was to me, I was reassured they could do the job. I ordered online where I expressed my gratitude for their work and included lots of contact information for myself and the recipient in case there was any question or concern about my delivery. I was told they would not deliver to a P.O. Box which was fine because the ship address is not a P.O. Box at all. Paranoid me even sent an email with a SECOND address of delivery directly to my sailors barracks just in case the delivery person had any issues with the original delivery address. I revived a call the morning of the delivery saying they could not deliver to the ship. This is after telling me they could deliver on base and before they even sent someone out there. Well if they had checked their email they would have know there was an alternative address for delivery, which I brought to the girls attention. Hours later I receive a call from the person whom this was supposed to be a surprise for, saying that the flowers I sent could not get on base and that they were going to try back again later with someone who could get through the gates. DOMINO'S PIZZA can get through these gates any hour of the day but the flower company who told me it was no problem suddenly weren't prepared to do their job?! My service man who now already knows about his gift, who doesnt have a vehicle at his disposal had to ask a friend on his day off to drive him to the flower shop 30mins away because we were concerned the flowers would be dead by the time they finally got to him. The flowers looked deflated and I felt completely ripped off for paying for a delivery that never happened. I have received no apology for this company lying about the capabilities of their service and no offer of a refund which is completely necessary for the amount of money I have paid for a service that was not completed. Very disappointed to say the least. read more

ORIGINAL: They claimed to have delivered the order on Valentine's Day, but after checking they realized they did not. The options given were delivery the next day or a refund. In my opinion the customer service would have been both as the order was placed for a specific day for a reason. I used a third party to order flowers and they used this florist unfortunately. I paid to have express delivery on a Friday and they could not deliver. So I placed my order for Monday and paid for early delivery and my delivery person got here late. I paid for him to deliver before noon and it was 12:30. He called saying he was 5 minutes away and asked me to be in the lobby of my job so I went to wait. He got here 30 minutes later!! I spent my lunch waiting only to get flowers that looked like trash and a $5.00 balloon that didn't even float! Horrible customer service. Was supposed to receive flowers today but because I was on another call when they called at 11am I will now not get them until Monday. Even though I returned their text messages twice within an hour of missing their call. Then was questioned as to why I didn't answer them when I finally got in touch with them 2 hours later and was told that they were no longer delivering today. Their shop is open for 3 more hours. Now I was told not to send anymore flowers to Linda's place of employment. So I didn't not for 12 years now. So I thought hey after a dozen years she will forget. Nope. I couldn't find my old florist so I decided to try Arlington Florist after they came recommended by another shop. I went in and told them what I wanted and it wasn't bad. They haven't quite had someone like me before. After all there's not another me. The young lady helping me was very nice and we spent about an hour designing theses arrangements. Yes (s) four in fact and all to be delivered at specific times. All coinciding with certain times a bunch of years ago. After looking though many books and making phone calls to see what we could put together. We ran with 4 deliveries at 10, 12, 2:30, 5. First was the 2 birds one for each of us. Then 5 different color roses for our 5 kids. Then to follow with 11 Irises for all the grandkids. Then the crème dala crème was a tropical arrangement similar to the first one she got on our 1st anniversary. A wheel barrow full of flowers from the islands. The ladies at this florist did everything that I asked them to do. The flowers showed up nice except for the irises they still haven't opened but other then that they were beautiful. Horrible! I regret the day I thought to order my mother flowers from this shop. Being out of town and unable to hand deliver her flowers before she left for her annual Mother's Day trip, I thought it would be a wonderful surprise to send her favorite flowers, purple tulips. Not only was the delivery after 11:30 as I specifically requested seeing as my mom is an educator and would be free of students, they delivered a piece of s***. NOTHING resembled the picture on their website. Different vase, flowers, greenery, ribbon. Why post a picture of someone else work as if it can be duplicated???? I called and had them to pick that monstrosity back up and refund my money. Well the front office attendant indicated that the guy that came was rude and nasty , mad it was being sent back I guess.
