They called me after the diagnosis and told me that my trucks #2 coil pack was literally falling apart (I just had a tune up exactly 1 year ago so these coil packs were new) she asked if I wanted them replace them or if I wanted to do it, I told her I would replace it myself and if I had anymore issues I would bring it back. I replaced the bad coil pack and my truck is back to running like new. I will continue to bring all my vehicles to this shop as I find them trust worthy with my vehicles and very affordable and friendly!

It turned out to be a sensor issue but we were told it was one of the more challenging cases they have encountered. We know this to be true from since it was new, there was a subtle grumbling sound the car makes it was so subtle my normal mechanic would dismiss it. One day, it finally erupt into my car just shutting down when I was at an intersection with no warning. It was difficult to diagnose since the problem would not normally come up on their diagnostic machine but they kept troubleshooting and the problem was buried deep and they had to dismantle many components to get to it. We were so grateful the turn around time was so quick I was able to pick up the car after a day and a half. The towing company connected to my auto insurance failed us so we were so stressed it was nice the car got fixed thoroughly. Ryan texted me a couple days later to follow up which was something no other mechanic would do. It has been over a month now and it's safe to say the mechanic nailed the issue the car drives better than before without the occasional grumbling sound and it never died on me. My car needed new front struts, a new thermostat, coolant flush and K&N air filter cleaning\recharge. I had originally taken it into Chrysler Karmart in Burlington and was quoted close to 1200$ for these repairs. When I found out that price, I immediately called an auto repair shop in Arlington. The quote there was better coming in around 800$. But then I called Canavan's Auto Repair and was quoted 575$. It ended up costing me a little more than that because of tax and also there was a 4% (around 22$) service fee for using a credit card. But I still feel like I got a great deal and it was less than half the price of the dealership! He was also more friendly and didn't make me feel stupid when I asked questions. James is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He explains things clearly and in a way that you can understand. I appreciate his fair prices and good customer service and I recommend his company. I will go back to him in the future when my car needs any type of work done to it.
