Prio to this service Mira had a Ranch Hand bumper installed and a two-foot led light bar added for the all the dark roads I travel on the way home. Service was top notch and I must say the Ranch Hand looks pretty bad ass! This service 4/20/26 was for oil change and have my air dog four filters replaced, Thanks to the Staff at Randys, they told me it was past due! Nice to know that the stall looked over her service history. Like I stated in other reviews Randys is the only place that will work on Mira, the service is outstanding and the work is par-none. Stay far away! We have grounds for a lawsuit. My husband had a truck lift installed a few years ago and they forgot to tighten the bolts! The entire lift came off as he was driving down the road and he could've been seriously injured! They patched it back together but we have had issues for years. They refuse to look at the lift or fix their shoddy work. This company is awful and should be reported to the BBB! Negative stars and do not go here ever!!! read more

The best shop I've ever been to. I decided to purchase a van off facebook marketplace to experience the van life on the weekends for weekend getaways. I took my van to get headlights, 2" lift, new tires and rims, new stereo and a gps in the dash. Nelson did not disappoint. The guys at Randy's were very helpful. I wanted you to get a bush guard for my truck but was not able to find one that would work for my 2500, too many sensors. Tanner was able to get me some amber fog lights that fit in my factory location. What a huge difference they made for driving at night. They were able to get them installed in one day. I called and Tanner was super patient and helpful; asked if I could come in so it could be looked at to confirm what needed to be completed. I have an old truck and wanted to put air lockers in it. I've called around all over looking for someone that can do it - the truck is big, and somewhat uncommon. Anyways, when I first called Randy's we had a long discussion and the guy (Randy, I think) said he'd done this kind of thing maybe 15 years ago and that he'd e-mail me a schedule (I said I wasn't in a hurry and would be happy to wait my turn) and probably a quote (I said ball park would be fine). So, a week goes by, and I call back. Randy is busy, I leave a message and am told he'd get back to me that day. Another week goes by, I call again...now I'm told it was Rob, and he can't read Rob's writing because he's out sick, and anyways "yeah, we could do the work, but we don't want to do something we'd only do every 10 years or so." So, maybe only go here for oil changes and anything common, but if it's unusual and they have to think about it, maybe give them a hard pass, because y'know, they COULD do the work, but they don't want to. read more

When is the last time you heard of a good automotive or for that matter any repair shop that not only tells you their 2 months out on appointments but they also require a $100 deposit to even make the appointment. They'll refund if you cancel 2weeks prior to appointment, how nice of them. They may be the worlds best mechanics and may be nice guys but that seems a little ridiculous. Maybe their getting their own tv show. If you've had a good experience with them so be it, unfortunately I won't get the chance to try as I can't wait two months to get my truck looked at and I'm definitely not giving them $100 to wait. read more

RANDY DONOVAN LYBBERT OWNS THIS SHOP. STAY AWAY They turned a 200.00 repair into 2000.00. INCOMPETENCE AT THE BEST. These people cannot perform simple repairs let alone install new parts. Marc at the counter will lie to your face, up sell you and blame nonsense reasons for your vehicle being broken. This shop does not stand by any work they perform. Trust me I know, I went here due to the price if labor being cheap, boy was I infor a ride. Turns out I had to have a dealership fix Marc's mistakes. MARC THE MISTAKE IS AN UNDERSTATMENT. THEY destroy everything they touch. They operate under an entity called B and M of Western Washington Inc. Not BBB accredited. They treat all people like you're dumb and thier workmanship is below par. Thier practices are terrible, no quality whatsoever, repairing a seal with RTV is the wrong way, it should be a gasket. Thats how simple they screw up, they don't know simple proper techniques for a quality repair. A simple fix like I stated cannot be performed properly how would anyone trust them to do anything beyond. Ripp of shop with an attitude that does not care for the Smokey Point community. read more

I spoke to Mr. Arrogant discussed my issue and dropping the vehicle off with them for the day. 3500$ Invested in to the brake's ,600$ Invested in to fixing a fuel leak problem. The work took over a month and the parking brake still don't work and still leaking fuel. When I took it back they claimed to have fixed these problems but all they did was charge me more money. About 50 miles later I have to take my truck in again to have the same repairs done. This place nickel and dimes you for EVERYTHING! my husband took his Dodge Ram here a few months back to install a lift because they were the most "knowledgeable" and I am extremely unhappy with the results.... they replaced the RT axle with an aftermarket one ( not sure why) and the truck was never the same; we had to move to the side of the freeway several times just to push the axle back in place. Countless times we called to have it "fixed" and every time we were charged for labor BY THE HOUR. This place is truly a money pit. 2017 dodge RAM still having issues approx. 4,500 dollars later. I'd previously taken it to the dealership where I'd purchased it. They charged a lot and did nothing. They did comp me a free lube and oil with my questioning their huge bill. My better half took our truck in for an estimate for repair. Estimate hanging on the fridge for 2 weeks until money was in hand for the repairs. I, the female 1/2 called to set up the appointment. Was told if I didn't add on another 350 dollars on repair. Then I am taking a gamble of not having a complete repair and having major issues down the road. Now, I understand trying to up sale but, really! This more less came across as not a good honest qoute. So either a huge mistake was made on the estimator side or the previous comment about not being honest with women is true. Regardless, I am now out 2 weeks of new qoutes or paying $350 more. I already knew what was wrong and what needed to be repaired and was looking for honesty, the best quote and who could get it done the fastest. You wouldn't believe how much shops will take advantage of a young blonde who comes in acting like I don't know what's wrong with my truck. Although they didn't have the tool they referred me to Les Schwab down the road that was just as honest and able to fix my F250 tomorrow. Just wanted to post a long overdue review to Randy's Offrad. They installed a set of Airlift 5000 airbags on my Dodge Ram 1500 to help carry the weight of my travel trailer and all my belongings before moving back to Colorado. Well, it has been well over a year now and a very brutal winter back here and they are still holding up fine. The price they quoted was about the going rate. The service was good and they did the job in the time they said. I had checked with other 4x4 shops in the vicinity to have the work done. RPM in Mt Vernon was clueless as to what the job entailed. 4x4 Parts in Lynnwood was slightly cheaper but as I found out later, the staff behind the counter is also clueless and had me down there multiple times for just one job and it literally took them all day for two front leveling shocks. Wish I would have just gone to Randy's for those as well. Anyway, just wanted to write a positive review for the guys at Randy's Offroad before it slips my mind again. Thanks guys! read more

This is a great Mechanic Shop if you are a "Diesel Truck" owner. I was test driving a 2003 Dodge Ram and drove it to Oak Harbor from Seattle. Along the way I heard some noise coming from the truck, and it was intermittent. I arrived at Oak Harbor and took care of my business there and it was on my return that this noise began to get louder and I started to think I might not make it back. I stopped and spoke to a man at a body shop who told me the only diesel mechanics that he knew about in the area were at "Randy's Off Road Connection" still about 30 miles south of where I was. I headed for the place. I made it there and one of the owners "Mark Cole" asked what was the problem. I explained the situation and he stopped what he was doing and drove my truck around the area and it wasn't until we took it on the freeway that he heard the noise I was concerned about. He said it was coming from the transfer case. We got back to his shop and he pulled a truck out of one of the bays and got the RAM 2500 in there. He scooted under the truck and pulled a skid plate then removed the fill nut and "Black fluid oozed out. He said was supposed to be cherry red. I had him drain it all out and then fill it with fresh fluid. Mark then had his technician "Rob" check the fluids in both the front and back differentials. The front differential was full of gray chalky looking liquid that I was told was supposed to be a dark clear honey color, the back differential was full but there was a lot of metal chips and flakes in it. they then checked all the joints on the suspension and rods to the front chassis. It seemed everything need help. Mark suggested I not drive it on the freeway back and I took his advice. The interesting thing here is that Mark drove me around in the truck for better then a half hour, he filled the transfer case with fluids and the whole experience cost me just 130 bucks, I didn't mention that I had a "Buyers Inspection done at a Dodge dealership near Bellevue a few days earlier and there I paid 140 dollars and none of these issues were revealed from their inspection, well to be fair they did mention that a front passenger side U joint recently installed was installed wrong but Randy's guy got that one too. The guys there were extremely helpful to me that day and I'm still looking for a nice truck. But you can bet the next time I take a truck for a heads up on whats going on under the hood I'll be taking it to these guys. Thanks again! read more

Went to Randy's because of a recommendation from a friend. I brought in my Tacoma to have a 3" lift installed along with an ARB bumper and Warn winch. The guys at the counter were great with informing me on the proper lift ratio for the added weight of the bumper and winch. They were on the phone with ARB and OME right then and there while I was getting my invoice printed. I waiting a couple weeks and they were quick to give me a call saying my parts were in. They had an opening right as my parts arrived and I dropped off my truck and keys. I was really excited to have the lift kit and bumper installed and I stopped by everyday to check in on the progress. The guys at the counter knew me the minute I walked in the door, even the mechanic recognized me and they were all great at keeping me informed to the point where the mechanic even stayed late to complete the alignment so I could get out on the road as soon as possible. Once everything was installed it looked pristine, they even posted a picture of the before and after of my truck to Facebook. I took it out to the mountains and the winch and lift kit performed flawlessly. I am very satisfied with the quality work and fair prices they offer. As fate would have it, I was driving in a snow storm and was hit by another truck, without the Warn winch and ARB bumper my legs would have been crushed. I don't own a diesel, but Randy's Off Road has been a blessing for me and 2007 4x4 Chevy Suburban LTZ. I've owned it since it was brand new and had pages upon pages of "can not duplicate issue" from the dealership I had bought it from. After years of frustration with dealing with the dealership I wandered into Randy's Off Road. They let me know they were more of a diesel place, but they were willing to take a look and see what they could do. They corrected every issue the dealership could not duplicate. Since then I've taken my suburban back for anything that comes up. Most recently the check engine light and routine maintenance. All taken care of quickly without killing my bank account. I read another post about treating women negatively. I have not had that issue AT ALL. In fact, they even open doors for women. :) One other thing I'd like to note is they are honest even when they're telling you something you don't want to hear and it would have made them money. I wanted my suburban lifted. They were honest enough to tell me for safety reasons that my specific suburban with the air ride suspension was not meant to be lifted and I should be weary of anyone who told me otherwise. I had already been told the same thing by Les Schwab, but figured I would check with Randy's too. Trustworthy, honest, dependable, easy to work with and most importantly they know what they're doing. great crew and shop. took truck in for a simple repair, EGR valve and cooler. when i start truck to leave dash lights up with all kind of warnings which involved brake system, traction control, hill descent, check brakes low brake fluid. Jason came out immediately to check and clear codes. to make a short story shorter Randy and Tyler checked out truck and found a bad wire going to ABS. left truck overnight. fixed and on my way the next day. not to leave anybody out when i pulled back in Rob, Jason and Randy, then Tyler were all checking out possibilities as to what it was. That is GREAT customer service! they wanted it to be right when it left their shop. I 'll be back. hopefully for the fun stuff. read more
