Blade RV Center is a one-stop-shop for any sort of RV part you could possibly need. I've gone in when I've needed things like a tiny replacement light bulb for our travel trailer, or a new sewer hose. They seriously have everything. (Tbh it's kinda mezmerizing!) Don't feel like DIY'ing? They're also a full service RV repair shop. Call early, though, as they get pretty busy and it can take awhile to get an appointment. They also do propane refills, and it's very convenient to be able to pop in, fill up the ol' tanks, and then head out to our next RV adventure. They're closed Sunday and Monday, so keep that in mind if you have any RV needs. read more

I bought a new RV from another company and was camping locally, my slide motor died. The company that sold it to me had no mobile service and the referral for a mobile tech wasn't available. I called Blade RV in Mt Vernon, they drove an hour and six minutes to my campsite and got my slide retracted. Joe their RV Tech was awesome. I then contacted my former company, they told me they could fix the motor in October (four months). This is a warranty issue on a four month old RV. They were indifferent, they didn't care. Blade RV, Kurt was able to schedule us in, in less than a week. There is no question who we are going to do business with in the future....Blade RV! Thank you Blade RV! I purchased a used Thor RV in early October. I paid cash. They wouldn't let me pick it up for a week because they wanted to "get it checked out in their RV repair center." When I arrived to pick it up the tail lights were not working properly although they insisted they were "safe and legal," When I arrived home I noticed that the house battery was dead. It should've charged during 110 mile trip home. It turns out the alternator had been damage beyond repair at some point and subsequently killed the Lithium battery. They had hidden that from me when I picked up the motorhome. There were multiple electrical gremlins that had to be chased down. Ultimately I had to buy a new alternator for $1200. Although I did sign a paper that said I was purchasing it "AS IS" the complex city of modern motorhomes makes a thorough inspection mandatory especially when purchasing from blade RV. Any potential customer should carefully and diligently have any vehicles they purchase from this business thoroughly and carefully evaluated buy an independent RV specialist not associated or recommended by this company. This applies especially for RV's with their complex electrical systems. I have experience with electronics otherwise repair of this unit would've cost me $3000 or $4000. read more

We recently bought our first Jayco trailer, an SLX with no slide, from Jayco. We'd bought a Northern Lite camper (the best!) from them years ago and had a great experience at that time. Since then the rigs we wanted were available elsewhere. This time we'd seen a similar used unit at another dealer and wanted to see what the new ones were like. Long story short, we were able to negotiate a good price on a new trailer and everyone we dealt with at Blade sales or parts/service was professional, competent, and just plain easy to work with. Our unit was completely checked out, they installed the two tvs we purchased, we got a thorough walk-through, and it was just a great experience. We just got it set up in a fixed location for now and everything worked just fine. Jayco has some good engineers, as they have incorporated features we'd wanted in some of our other rigs. If that's what you want, Blade is worth the drive if you don't live in Mt. Vernon. I have it on good authority that their auto side is just as easy to work with. read more

IT'S SUMMER 2018 ...and everyone in the state seemed to be pulling into the BLADE, RV Service and Repair parking lot this 3rd week of August when I did. I mean, what happened...did they not get their RV's serviced or repaired over the winter months and be ready for this summer or were they like me, they did get their RV's winterized but they just now found something broken so they brought their RV's in? Well, that was me! However, BLADE RV service manager, Jon Hill took care of me, PRONTO,when I dropped and left my 30' Komfort 5th in his care. He had the units refrigerator diagnosed and installed a new component that got running cool again. Jon is very knowledgable about RV trailers and can highly articulate himself to an average senior like me. My wife and will be purchasing our second RV 5th wheel, this time brand new from BLADE RV Sales next year when she retires as we can attest over the past four years, that BLADE is the best for sales and service. (Dual 6v batteries, clean transfer of my hitch and larger propane tanks) We have used the Service department three times now, 1st time was for a delivery problem with my awning and some lights were out on the interior. 2nd was for more minor fixes. 3rd was Major fixes (keep in mind we go twice a month camping) Awning, stove fan, interior lights, wheel cover, slideout propane hose, separating front nose, bathroom track and interior furniture problems. Everything was covered under my 2 year factory warranty and I didn't even have to use my extended coverage. Went there to look at travel trailers and were told due to covid we could only look at 3. There were 4 if us, two different couples looking for 2 different trailers and we could only look at 3. This was because they had to go into them afterwards to spray and clean. The other couple looked at 2 and decided to look elsewhere. I didn't bother, didn't want to be an inconvenience the salesman. We then got into our vehicle and watched the salesman walk back into the office and lock the door behind him. We sat there discussing where we were going to look next, approx 10min and not once did the salesman come back out or anyone come out to clean or wipe down the 2 trailers he just shown. I don't think he cleans them afterwards. We went to 4 other places where we were able to view the inside, no issues. read more

my trailer has been waiting to get repaired. they needed to get the struts for a stollen out door kitchen door. we were called that the struts finally came in. but it's been over 2 weeks to get them installed. Not good. this trailer has been waiting for over 2 months to get done. And it's still not done. So if you need your trailer fixed, do not take it to this place. you won't be able to use it for the entire summer. We were told just a bit ago that they don't fix Forest River trailers. Well, the6 should have told us this in the beginning. But they didn't. So now we have a half fixed trailer.So I've just learned Steve left for vacation for a week without sending the insurance company the proper information for my trailer. We bought a 2017 Forest River Cardinal 5th wheel from Blade RV. Best experience we could possibly imagine buying this beautiful trailer. The price was super reasonable, customer service handled things well, and above all, our salesman, Brett, went above and beyond the call of duty. He set us up with the Blade RV tech folks to make sure we knew the ins and outs of our new 5th wheel, kept in touch to let us know when it would be ready, even texted us photos of the delivery guy rolling off the lot and on his way to our place. And to top it all off, when we ran into an issue with the bank regarding insurance, Brett made the calls necessary to straighten things out, saving us another 500 bucks. Took my 2001 Hewescraft boat there for a fresh paint job just to bring some life back to her due to a previous owners inability to care for it. I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary or special since it was an older boat and there's no way it would like look a brand new model.....WRONG! I was very mistaken on how good of a job Trevor and his team did at valuing my project, cut no corners, and paid attention to all the detailed areas. Trevor was very easy to work with, gave his personal number for any questions, and even answered texts after business hours! THIS is how you go above and beyond to earn customer loyalty and satisfaction!! Fair warning...the price wasn't cheap. But good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good. read more

Went to Blade RV after having yet another bad customer service experience at Camping World (Burlington, WA). Done with Camping World. I just needed a few parts but unsure of what those parts were I needed someone to take one minute and look at the part and make an identification. A minute was too much for Camping World and the wait was ridiculous. Wayne Sewell (RV Parts Consultant) at Blade RV looked at the parts in question and made the sale -- I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Very happy with Wayne for the parts! After that positive experience I brought a rig in for a few minor repairs. Somehow communications became disjointed and there was a bit of the drama when we came to pick up the rig which wouldn't have happened if there had been better communication between the service people and the check out people. Also I was surprised to find there was no emergency contact number posted and available for Blade RV so trying to take care of an issue on the lot after hours and after the gates had closed was an unnecessary hassle. But for the confusion and resulting unnecessary hassle and personal scheduling issues and missed meeting, etc. that resulted from that my experience would be in the 4 realm. I'll for sure go back for parts/accessories. I'm not so sure about the service right now but will revise this post as my experiences with Blade RV continue. read more

Terrible customer service from Mike Rosso. Didn't want to show us a trailer we wanted to take a look in even with the 2 trailer per visit Covid rules they have. Asked me "why I wanted to look in it assuming it was filled with balloons" how are you suppose to even figure out quality/ model you want if you can see inside. You would never buy a car without sitting in it or test driving it. I asked for a brochure of the kind we were interested in and was met with attitude. Then upon leaving because he clearly didn't want to help us told us he was too busy for us anyways. Well then. Not giving this place my business, will never go back. read more

I went to the rv service desk to ask for help with my furnace overheating and if someone could give me some advice but the guy at the counter said the service dept. doesn't know anything about furnace output temps and neither do I. I recommend JR's or Action don't waste your time here. read more

We were sold a warranty we cannot use, were told the unit would have all systems tested and repaired and would be cleaned for pick up. A/C not working correctly, frig messed up and flooring was damaged when we picked it up. It was also never cleaned before we picked it up. We were told oh well when we called. We love our 5th wheel, but blade has left a bad taste in our mouths. read more

After weeks of searching for a travel trailer and visiting pretty much every RV retailer in the area, we returned to Blade. On our first visit we met Kim Boone, her first day at that store but not her first day in trailer sales. She knew what to show us and despite struggling to know where it was did an awesome job showing us what we wanted to see. We visited other stores and while we had some positive experiences, Kim kept her word and texted (as asked) new models and anything else she felt we would be interested in. Her product knowledge was spot on and her ability to guide us comfortably through the decision was a pleasure. The entire experience at Blade RV was exactly what it should be when making a major purchase, from Kim on the sales floor, to the more than fair deal offered by Nick, to the easy buying experience finalized by Steve in finance. I purchased an RV March 2021 from Blade RV, I have had nothing but Issues from the service department. Words like incompetent, slothful, unorganized, are very fitting. During this time, when my RV was being worked on, I would call and ask for a status and they could not find my paperwork, did not even know I had a RV there, could not tell me if it was finished or if the Service Technician had even started to work on it. I tried to be understanding and when I had gotten fed up, I talked to the Service Manager and he was just as bad as his staff. I also tried to talk to the owner, but was blocked by a manager from doing so. I actually had to call Jayco Manufacture to get anything accomplished. If you purchase from Blade RV, save yourself some time and stress and find another service department at another dealership. read more

We bought our first RV here and wanted to trade up although the customer service post sale was astoundingly horrible. These guys don't care about there customers after they've sold you. Don't go here. Months later we get locked out of our trailer that we bought at Blade RV. We call to ask for the Jayco master key to get in, and they said no. I ask why, and they said, because our salesman will not give up the key. Interestedly enough this happened to me in another location and I called the nearest Jayco dealer to help and they didn't hesitate to help me with their master key. I wasn't even a customer of this dealer but they went out of their way to help me. Blade RV won't go out of their way to help you. I just picked up my 2014 Tiffin Phaeton that was having body work done due to mishaps on the recent trip back East (bad luck/stupidity..... in general, not being aware). Beth and Brandon at HQ RV had recommended Blade when I had brought the RV in to get them to take a look at a stuck slide. They said that Trevor at Blade RV Center takes care of the details and goes the extra mile to make sure the coach is as expected when the owner comes to pick it up. And he did! The body repair was flawless. One of the areas damaged was the lower driver front. Trevor pointed out to me that the "diamond shield" (bug shield) could be stopped right at the paint-color transition instead of replacing (and repainting after scraping off the shield) the entire front protective layer. He asked if that would be acceptable and knowing what I did, I said, "yes". I was relieved that he suggested it since it just so happens that I had prior experience with this very question. I had previously also damaged the passenger side front (not my fault! flat-bed dropped an ice block in front of me bringing it up from Texas 2 winters ago). The Lynnwood RV place I took it to for repair had explained to me that it was necessary to remove the bug shield off the entire front and sand it down before repainting and then reapplying a full-front shield. Even at the time that seemed like an overkill. (but it was insurance so what the hey) It was explained to me that there would be no good place to stop without creating a seam along the front that would be noticeable and could possibly pull away. But there's already seams there where the shield gets cut around the headlights. Trever did an excellent job of ending the shield at the paint transition so that it is not at all noticeable. I can't see it pulling away anymore than it would around the headlights. Additional work requested by me outside of what insurance covers was replacing all the toppers, the steps (oops!) and the propane door latch. This door required removing the riveted metal panel, replacing the latch assembly and reattaching the panel. Couldn't even tell it was done (must have been... I don't have to attach a bungee to keep the door mostly closed.) Additionally, outside of what insurance covered, Trevor said he took care of the lower trim strip on a slide that had hit a white post and left a small gash. He also saw the damage on a bin door that had been abraded by a vehicle and buffed that out. What really surprised me was that they had repaired the inside step. When I finally decided to take a look at why the step was so squishy, I saw that under the rubber mat there was plywood underneath. Not even treated so it was a delaminating mess. I was surprised that Tiffin would find this acceptable. On my to-do list when I got home was to complete the repair of this step. But when I got in the door, Blade had already done the step repair! So there was no charge for the slide-trim repair, the bin door damage, the step AND no charge for the 2nd RH fog light (the new one for the LHS did not match the existing, so they replaced both). Add to all this a shiny coach ready when they said it would be* and a very helpful office staff (They handle everything - I think my insurance agent felt a little left out. Thank you Shirley, Cindy and Steve) and I can't say enough good about Blade RV and the way they handled my problems. *I had made plans to have this repair done by the Lynnwood place but as much as I like the guys there they did me a disservice. I had coordinated with them months in advance to bring the RV in for repair when we would be gone for 2 weeks. When I dropped off the RV on the way to the airport, they told me then that they didn't know if they could get to it. Sure enough when I came back - nothing. Picked it up and drove it home. Looks like they're a victim of their own success - a lot packed with customer RV's and a short staff to get the work done. read more

Amazing dealer. We started looking for an RV back in January. We were working with 2 other dealers trying to get a certain trailer at a certain price and not having any luck. I called Blade RV and talked with Robin. He said they would be happy to order us the trailer, with the options we wanted, at the price we wanted. I knew it would take 8-20 weeks for the factory to build the trailer. Robin often gave me updates on how it was progressing. After about 8 weeks, Robin had to take a medical leave and told me that Nick would help us from here on out. I was a little nervous, considering I'd never been to Blade RV, never met Robin and was now getting passed to Nick. But Nick was as great as Robin. He kept us up to date often with updates as they progressed. Our trailer arrived and we went in yesterday to finish the paperwork. Nick was incredible. Had all of the paperwork ready for us. We arrived with our three young kids and the process was smooth and painless. I'd absolutely recommend Blade RV and am very thankful to Robin and Nick for helping us get our new trailer!!! read more

My friend's trailer had service there. The positive is they found the stair mounting was bad and repaired that. The negative was a new 1.5 inch dent. They took it down and was to pass to their manager, but never got a call back. We could have called them, but both towing again the 50+ mile distance and will look for a closer RV business were factors. read more

Terrible terrible service. Had the water pump replaced and they seemed really put out when we asked the to demonstrate it. Then, we discovered that, while we paid for for it to be dewiterized they never drained the antifreeze so by the time we got to the campsite it had backed up through the shower. When we called about it they at first refused to give us the managers name. When we do ally got through to a manager he was basically told us that this was normal, that people never actually use the water in their tank anyway, and that "if we go somewhere else next time they will.do worse." When I purchased my Jayco Trailer at Blade RV they were very good, fair and helpful. When I had a couple items repaired under the Warranty period and they were good and helpful. HOWEVER, upon my first visit for a very small repair of coupling to a water hose that broke (which is a poor design by Thetford Toilets) I was told by the Service Desk women it would be "At least a One Hour Job to Replace" the kit. On YouTube everyone was saying it was a 15 to 20 minute job max. WELL, it only took Blade RV 15 minutes to repair and they had me sit there for an extra Hour so they could justify charging me a full hour! So they Charged me a full hour at $140 an hour; not to mention doubling the cost of the kit you can buy on Amazon. In summary, they deliberately charged me more than Double what it should have cost if they were somewhat Fair about it! They've lost all my future Business even for the purchase of a new rig at some point down the Road.... Too bad, I really liked them until today! read more

I purchased a Jayco trailer from Valley RV Supercenter in Kent and after an extended trip to CA, I called them in regards to a few problems with the trailer. I had nothing but problems with their service dept in setting up an appointment and having the trailer serviced. I contacted Jayco headquarters and was told to take it to another dealer. I took it to Blade RV Center in Mt. Vernon and was very happy with the work that was done as well as the customer service (Jon). I highly recommend them for service to your rig. read more

I don't normally post negative reviews. I would like to preface this by saying we had a great experience with Blade Rv when we purchased our trailer a year and a half ago. John & Carl in the service department has been more than helpful over the past year. Carl & John both took the extra time to explain how to do things with the trailer and were very professional. However, our most recent experience was horrible with the service department. We brought our trailer in to be winterized and have them look at the radio and black water tank that wasn't draining properly. We would have normally winterized the trailer ourselves, especially since the cost of winterization had doubled from the year before, but since we had other issues we thought we would go ahead and have them do that as well. The new front desk, Ressa, was very very rude over the multiple phone exchanges we had trying to find a time that would work to bring it in. We were told the issues we were having would be covered under our warranty. Then they told us they couldn't find anything wrong and therefore we would need to pay for the time it took to look at the issues ($200). After all was said and done we paid almost $300 to have our trailer winterized and nothing else. Ressa was extremely rude to my husband over the phone and in person. Unfortunately this experience had been enough that I don't think we'll be back. read more

Don't ever bring your trailer to this shop for service. They had my trailer for almost 2 months then finally call me and said your trailers ready come get it. So I went there paid my bill to find out the didn't do anything the whole time it sat there and still has the exact issue I brought it in for. They also winterized it for me and when I went into the trailers bathroom it was a mess with a ton of pink anti freeze in the tub and on the floor. Save your money and take it somewhere else. Had I known all of this I would have purchased from a different dealer as well. read more

I would give a zero star if that was an option. First time we bought our trailer here, we had an excellent experience. So when we wanted to upgrade we went back. Biggest mistake ever. They recorded the sale of our trailer under the salesman's name! We took it for some minor warranty work and they damaged the inside then refused to repair it saying it's not covered under warranty. Need more repairs, made an appointment to come in, they had no idea what we were talking about when we came for our appointment, parts weren't ordered, they didn't call us to update us on the status then when we finally got a call to pick it up, they didn't fix anything and told us nothing would be covered and it wasn't our fault it was broken...it wasn't! Blade rv repair center is probably the worst place you could ever take your rv for repairs. They fight you every step of the way for warranty work and are just down right nasty about getting repairs under warranty done. Its seems like everyone there hates their job and conveys it to you with their attitude. They are a jayco dealer and would suggest to stay away from jayco travel trailers as they are complete pieces of crap. Also jayco has no mobile unit to assist you when your on the road, who does that? The worst part about this is only Jayco can work on your rig for the warranty to be good. I am so disappointed with the sales department and some of the people there that I felt the need to let other people know. Stay away from Blade RV sales, and BLADE RV SERVICE, Also I asked them to rotate my tires and was told it would be 70 bucks. I just laughed and said no thanks. I'm reviewing the Blade RV service center, which is physically separate from Blade RV Sales. I believe they only sell Jayco, but they service everything. The service center is professional, prompt and helpful. I needed a Coleman A/C warranty replacement. They fit me into a very busy summer schedule (just passing through on a trip to the PNW) and quickly diagnosed the issue. John filled out all the required warranty paperwork and within several weeks had the unit installed in my motorhome. While waiting for the replacement, we were travelling through Canada, and John called me with status updates on the warranty shipment. Wonderful customer service. Their parts department is also first rate. I just wish they were in my hometown. read more

But we did find out; and when we questioned them Tom Hummell the Service Manager did acknowledge the overcharges immediately and did refund us a check for $1744.42 immediately probably in the hopes that we would be "satisfied". And no one was able to give a rational explanation as to how/why we were verbally quoted the overcharge estimate of $3900 from the get go!! if in fact it was a "system glitch" according to Tom Hummell. Well we are not satisfied that their poor if not unlawful business practice of overcharging their customers cannot be reprimanded by the state of Washington; and we are doubly upset that the parts and service they provided was apparently not under warranty. Under no circumstances should we have had to replace what they installed within a 90-day time period, in order to access an area of concern that was diagnosed by them but not attended to. read more
