Late post from December 2025 ceremony…read more Being from the mainland I was a little nervous about a company that I knew nothing about. My now husband found them with a simple Google search. Front start to finish, it was the most amazing experience. The coordination was flawless and the service was top notch. We didn't get to meet our officiant Ellsworth until the day. The photographer and videographer made us feel so comfortable! The flowers were fresh and made beautifully. The hula dancer was gorgeous and the musician was wonderful. My hair and make up artist understood the assignment and they both made me look flawless! Our photographer Carson took over 200 photos and made us feel so special! Our highlight video and ceremony video were awesome. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to get married in Hawaii as they have the wedding planning down to a science. They have something in everyone's budget I loved that they took away the hassle of booking everything separately especially since we didn't live there! Thanks everyone!

Our videographer was friendly, open to my ideas, and willing to try different shots I had seen on social media. I never felt like my ideas were silly or that I was being difficult. He was also honest with his feedback and willing to redo moments to get the shot right. The video beautifully captured our ceremony, guests, emotions, and little moments that made our wedding special. Watching it made me emotional in a good way because it felt like our story was being told. What makes the photography even more frustrating is that we didn't pay extra to choose our videographer, yet the video was one of the best parts of our experience. Meanwhile, we paid $700 to choose our photographer, and the photography was one of the most disappointing parts. Our day-of coordinator was also kind, supportive, encouraging, and helpful with managing our time and photo/video ideas. Overall, I'm grateful for our beautiful video and our wonderful coordinator. Unfortunately, the photography and communication issues took away from the experience. These are memories we can never recreate, and I just wish our photos had captured the people, emotions, and story of our wedding the way our video did.

We knew that having a destination wedding in Hawaii as a couple who lived on the east coast would…read morebe a challenge, and that whoever we chose needed to be both perfect and affordable. We interviewed with 3 different planners, and ABC ended up being ultimately the perfect fit for us. We loved all the work we saw on the website/social media, and knew that we needed a comprehensive package of some sort since we were busy healthcare professionals working in NYC. We had our initial consultation call with Mackenzie, who was so great, eased our minds, and laid out everything we needed to know to help us make our decision. We made a decision before the end of the week, as we felt the involvement of ABC and their ability to both help design and contact vendors on our behalf with us being so busy would be helpful (and it really was!). We chose the elite planning package - we basically had bi-weekly video calls where we went over specific talking points and their orderliness and helpful input really helped us round out our tough decisions. Whenever we needed something more urgently, we were even able to text Mackenzie and Sammy and they were always so willing to assist. Sammy eventually came on to become one of our lead coordinators and we could not rave about her more! Even when we ran into some challenges in the months leading up to the wedding (unexpected vendor changes, inclement weather, etc) Sammy was always 10 steps ahead and really ensured that we had the best outcome possible even before we knew what was happening. We were being photographed outside by the water on the NORTH SHORE with a storm approaching (IYKYK) and Sammy was by our side with a platter of pupu's and cocktails ready to be blown away! Even with Tropical Storm Lala literally making headway for our wedding, Sammy (along with Natalie & Autumn) helped make our wedding perfect. We are so grateful and could not recommend them more. :)

They are such wonderful people, and they helped make our day beyond special. Everything I envisioned for my wedding came to light, and it simply would not have been possible without ABC. They are organized, responsive, reassuring, and so much more. I especially appreciated how seamlessly they handled all the behind-the-scenes work and the communication with our vendors -- it let us be fully present and enjoy our day. If you're looking for a coordination team that truly cares, ABC is it. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!

The photos we received for our wedding turned out wonderfully -- our families were so happy with them, and we were grateful to have those memories captured. But sadly, we're now past 8 months since our wedding, and we still haven't received our highlight or full video, despite following up several times. We also asked for a few specific/missing photos (a large group reception shot and a portrait of the bride with her immediate family) that still haven't been delivered. What's been most disappointing is the lack of transparency and communication. We've been incredibly patient, giving space for the creative process and trying not to rush the team. But after so many months and repeated follow-ups, we're left feeling anxious and in the dark. We've just repeatedly been told "next week" for months and now we've reached a point that we've been entirely ghosted. We trusted Isle Media to preserve the emotional essence of a once-in-a-lifetime day -- and now we're afraid we may never get to relive it the way we had hoped. For a service of this cost and significance, this level of delay and silence is deeply disheartening. If/when our remaining photos and videos are delivered at the high-quality standard you would expect from Isle Media, I'll gladly update this review -- but as it stands, I wouldn't want another couple to go through this and therefore can't recommend their services to anyone looking for an event photographer/ videographer.

There are musubi, bentos, fried chicken, fish patties, shrimp, sushi, noodles, and all kinds of other local goodies. The line can look intimidating, but it moves pretty quickly. The poke is obviously one of the big reasons people come here, and there are a ton of varieties to choose from. The spicy ahi and crunchy garlic ahi are especially popular, and the mochiko chicken gets a lot of love too. We did like the mochiko chicken a lot! This is definitely a grab it and go kind of place rather than somewhere to sit and eat. I can see why locals make this a regular stop because you could come here several times and still have plenty of things to try. My favorite turned out to be the poi mochi!

Tessa was extremely responsible, organized, and always on top of everything. She made the entire planning process very smooth, and on the wedding day we did not have to worry about anything. Every detail was taken care of perfectly. All of the vendors Tessa recommended were also amazing. Everyone she connected us with was professional and did an incredible job, which made the whole experience even better. We honestly could not have asked for a better planner. We chose their full-service package as this package included sourcing vendors for us, but hiring them turned out to be the biggest mistake of our wedding. 1. Subpar vendor sourcing The vendor recommendations were completely misaligned with our vibe and significantly overpriced. They provided only a single option per category with zero room for comparison. We ended up having to research, vet, and book almost all the other vendors ourselves to get the vibe we wanted at a much more affordable price point. 2. Day-of logistics & communication failure Despite asking for our bus driver's contact details in advance, the team did not coordinate with him. Our driver had to repeatedly call us directly on our wedding day while we were trying to get ready and enjoy the moment. When we brought this up to the team, the excuse given was simply, "Oh yeah, we have never worked with him before." As professional planners, coordinating with new vendors is the bare minimum expectation. 3. Rude and unprofessional attitude on the day A wedding planner should keep the atmosphere calm and positive. Instead, Tessa created unnecessary stress and hostility: a. Disrespectful to Our Officiant: Our officiant, a close friend who walked us through marriage preparation and flew all the way to Hawaii, politely asked Tessa a logistical question and was bluntly told, "Now is not the time to be asking these questions." Right before our march-in, she was openly talking rudely about him in front of our entire bridal party, killing the excitement and making everyone feel uncomfortable. b. Aggressive tone with groomsmen: During the groomsmen photoshoot, she snapped at one of the groomsmen for chewing gum, aggressively telling him: "Is that gum? You either spit it out or you swallow it." 4. Zero Accountability We hesitated to write a public review and reached out privately via email first to share our experience. Their response did not include a single apology or acknowledgment of their shortcomings. Every single external vendor we sourced and hired on our own was fantastic, but Fred and Kate Events consistently added tension, failed on coordination, and treated our closest friends and family with disrespect. Would totally look elsewhere for wedding coordination.
