Overpriced burgers , fries & drink for 2 Over $50.00 in picnic style holder from the Fair / basket NOT Plates ? Way too many onions on the burger . It is obvious they are trying to save money and that's OK IF the food is good . IMO the place needs to be renovated. I'm Not paying $50+ to eat burgers and fries. I found this restaurant because it was always crowded and I thought I would see why. I was pleasantly surprised the wait staff was great there were plenty of serving staff and Avery was wonderful. I got the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. They were plentiful and tasty. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger because everyone in the place was ordering cheeseburgers. The fries were a separate purchase and they were crunchy on the outside and hot and good inside. The burger was good with fresh condiments. See the pictures. There is a patio for outdoor seating. And it is handicap accessible. They also have a revolving dessert menu. Again all the serving staff was great I liked Avery she was very attentive. read more

If you can't be bothered to drive to East Brainerd and this is your only option... I'm sorry. I mean the burgers are okay. Fries are basic. But whatever you do, do NOT order the hamburger steak dinner. Unless you like a dry, overcooked and laughable rendition of what a hamburger steak should be. First time here at this Armando's and was with a friend that I ride with. It has off street parking and is not a very big place. It has a number of booths and tables and is a typical local family restaurant. No beer from my burger (-1) but still was worth the trip. At the suggestion of my friend, I tried the kids burger meal with crinkle fries and coffee. Service was good and fast and the burger was decent size and filled me up. Coffee was fresh and food was hot. Since my friend helped me with some motorcycle stuff, I bought his lunch. Our combined bill was less than 10 dollars. WOW. It was obvious the burger was not made from a frozen Pattie and I will be back. Solid 4 from me. read more

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant in East Ridge for all popular American Foods. Nice "Mom and Pop" type restaurant too. There are some other Armandos in the Chattanooga but the owners here said they are not affiliated with them. Armandos is an all American restaurant with all foods such as burgers and sandwiches. That's what they are known for. Menu items are pretty much straight forward and includes the following; Burgers, sides, dinners, sandwiches, desserts, soups, salads, baked potatoes and even a kids meals section. Menu items in detail for burgers include: Traditional Burgers, Classic Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Mushroom Swissburger, Patty Melt, Steak and Cheese. The sides include; fries, tator tots, chili cheese fries, fried pickles, slaw, and Texas toothpicks (whatever that is). Dinners Grilled Chicken, Chicken Fingers, and Hamburger Steak dinners. Sandwiches: baked ham, roast beef, turkey, grilled chicken, fried chicken, Bologna, turkey club, philly steak, tuna salad, and BLT. Cheese can be added to all of the above sandwiches if you like. They also have grilled cheese. Soups, salads and baked potatoes: they have vegetable soup, potato soup, broccoli cheese soup. You can get a baked potato where you can add whatever toppings you want. Desserts: pecan pies, strawberry shortcake, lemon meringue, chocolate pie, and coconut pie. They also have a board in here with desserts that they don't have on their menu. menu items ordered: Classic cheeseburger, tator tots, sweet tea, pecan pie with ice cream. I got my cheeseburger with everything on it. Everything was great tasting and I especially liked the home made pecan pie with ice cream. I will say I had a great dinner this evening dining out at Armandos of East Ridge. I would definitely come back again. The manager said he's been in East Ridge for over 25 years. The hamburger steak dinner is so good! The quality and quantity of food for the price can't be beat!! The salad wasn't watery like some places so that's always a plus in my book. Their wedge fries were yummy... kinda like potato wedges, but more bite sized and slightly more crispy. I'm looking forward to trying more things from here. read more

We were up here for a funeral and my in laws recommended we eat here before driving back home. This has been a favorite place of theirs for years. Well, Absolutely awesome food and service! Family owned and operated. The owner did most of the cooking while her granddaughter was our server. Hard to decide what to get on the menu. I got a cheeseburger and potato salad with sweet tea. My mother and father in law got the fried bologna sandwiches. We had Texas Toothpicks for an appetizer, fried onion and jalapeño strips. Yum! Then had pecan pie, chess cake, and buttermilk pie for dessert. All very good! Whenever I'm passing through again, I will be stooping here. read more

Yep darn good burger place. Had the bacon cheeseburger cut in half along with their Texas Toothpicks (fried jalapeño strips) and an order of tater tots. For sure I should have read the other reviewers as the portions were very big! Burger was hot & fast. Similar to Kinkades in TX (that's a good thing). Staff was friendly and efficient. My wife and I ate here today and were very pleased with our meal. The menu is very simple and limited but the food was very good! We had the cheeseburger with tots and corn nuggets. The burgers were very good, not overstuffed but very filling. My wife had asked for hers very well done and it wasn't but she thought it was very good. The tots were good and hot and the nuggets were very good served with a side of ranch dressing. Overall, just a good solid meal as a great price! Service was prompt and courteous. read more

Placed a to go order and was told it would be 10 min. It took me about 15 to get there. Once I got to the drive thru and gave my name I was told just a minute. I was left sitting there for several minutes until I finally blew the horn to get someone's attention. Then I was greeted with an attitude and told they were looking for my order. Mind you it was only a salad. Finally again someone came to the window and asked what I ordered. Clearly they have subpar staff there and I left without my order. Good wedge fries and a decent burger, IF and only if, you like mayonnaise on your burger, which I don't. Mayonnaise is the only condiment on their list of burgers, and by god, mayonnaise is what you are going to get, regardless of what you tell the waitress and whether you like it or not. I ordered mine with mustard, no mayo, and the waitress wrote it on my ticket, but mayo is what I got. I don't know whether the cook is illiterate, or maybe some sort of religious zealot who imagines you will burn for eternity in the fires of hell for eating mustard on a hamburger, but if that's what you like, this is NOT the place for you. read more

Used to love this place. Apparently it was sold or taken over by new owners. Floors were dirty, littered with bits of food and paper. Friendly waitresses have been replaced by millenials who struggle to be pleasant. Even the older staff are not very friendly. Employees spend too much time chatting amongst themselves and checking their phones. Meanwhile the booths are needing to be cleaned and floors swept. This place has steadily gone downhill as far as cleanliness and customer service. Also, this just in...now they want to close at 5 on Saturdays. I guess not keeing the place clean and acting annoyed are tiring. read more
