The garlic bread comes out warm and garlicky. Great start. The salad, which comes with all entrees was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Veal frencese and it was excellent. Tender veal with just the right amount of breading, served over pasta with very light lemon and wine sauce. Finished the meal with some cannolis. Can't be beat. read more

Came on a busy Friday on le laf weekend. Getting seated was rough. No one came to speak to us so we spoke up. They said a few minutes. It took probably 15. No biggie. We almost left but I'm glad we didn't. We got two pies and two pastas lol. Wayyyyy too much food btw ( there were four of us). We didn't realize we got a stack of free bread sticks and salads with the pasta. The garlic sticks were fire. So garlicky and oily. Yummy. And we loved the vodka sauce. Perfection. Delivery service was very long time. The food arrived cold. Ordered extra cheese and it was meager. The 10 in steak sandwich had enough meat for a 6 in sandwich. The food was tasty. Hopefully they were just having an off night. read more

I ordered delivery through the slice app. It's convenient and always reliable. It came in almost the time predicted. The pizza was delicious. Just ordered a LG cheese. The pasta was also delicious. My only complaint about my pasta is that it cost $6 to add shrimp and you only get 4 shrimp. I thought that was a little crazy. The portion size was great. Enough to share and have extra. Just don't expect to have shrimp. The pasta dish came with a very small salad ( barely half way filled to go clear square plas6 container) & garlic sticks (which were amazingly good!! They have seasoning, oil & garlic on them). The appetizer ( breaded mushrooms) came soggy as they don't deliver well. I popped them in my air fryer and they were delicious. All in all we were satisfied with the food. We will order again but not adding any seafood/meats to pasta dishes. That's not worth the charge. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch after visiting Lehigh U. Small interior space, comfortable booth seating. Excellent thin crust pizza; we had a 12" mozzarella + basil and a roasted red pepper + garlic. We were told the mozz is homemade. Pasta dishes were a little pricey but the portions were generous and our kids enjoyed their meals. We have been to Anna's a couple of times since we moved into the area, but tonight's experience wasn't the best. We asked if we could order pizza slices and sit in to enjoy them, the owner said yes reluctantly and then told us that if it was busier we wouldn't be allowed to do that. (There was only 2 tables full the entire time) Then, we sat down and waited for our slices and the owner came over and slapped down a pile of napkins without saying anything. I looked at the top napkin and it was dirty! GROSS. I also picked up the specials menu and put it back (the wrong way I guess) and she reached over the table and moved the specials menu without saying anything. The pizza was good but overall we won't be back because the owner was generally unpleasant and we don't need to be around that, there's a million pizza places in the area so your service and kindness needs to be there. Sal's Pizza (aka ANNA's Pizza) is the best Italian spot in the Lehigh Valley. We were in town for a comedy festival and had just performed a set. We were starving and found this place on yelp --and it did not disappoint! The Pene alla Vodka and eggplant parmigiana are amazing. The lasagna was housemade fresh that day. Very ample portion sizes is a highlight, as we have 2 teenagers to feed. We all got pasta dishes which were very good but nothing amazing. I will say the amount of chicken in the pasta meal was very generous & more than satisfied the hungry boys.. The garlic rolls were super delicious, a standout in my opinion. The salad was fresh & also a nice size for a side salad. The service was friendly & may have even been Anna, not sure! Wish they had whole wheat pasta as an option. But they do have gluten free. It's just good. Every time I visit I am not disappointed. Definitely a small location so call ahead for a big party. Great portion sizes. Meals come with garlic bread and a house salad. I recommend ordering the: penne vodka, chicken franchise, or baked ziti. All delicious. Staff is usually very friendly and treat you like a regular. Seriously the best Italian food that I have had in the Valley. Their menu is huge. Food is delicious! Restaurant is very small and they do not take reservations, so be cautious as to when you choose to come or you will have to wait, although they do their best to accommodate you. This review pertains entirely to their Fried Calamari. To preface the following statements, I am an Italian from a coastal town, so my standards are probably higher than most for calamari. That being said, the calamari at this spot is okay for South Bethlehem. The serving size is about enough for 1.5 people and the seasoning/breading/sauce are decent but nothing too special. However, the squid is of a noticeably lower quality. For $15 an order, it's not exactly the best value. It's pretty good. Pizza and pasta dishes were fine...atmosphere could have used more (it was HOT....needed to be running the AC a bit harder). We had a few pasta dishes that were basic mainstays in American Italian Restaurants (Penne Vodka, Fettucini Alfredo w Chicken and brocoll, and a Fra Diavolo). It was a short on Pasta....fine on sauce....you figure for an extra 50 cents...you could load up the dish with plenty more pasta. Bread was good....kind of like bread nuggets.....it's a very small amount they give you...and they charge you more if you ask for more than 2 servings. The food is good. I always get the penne vodka with chicken and the serving size is huge. But the service is pretty terrible. I was having dinner with three friends and after 30 minutes, the waitress kept asking us if we were done with our food. The place wasn't crowded so I didn't really understand why she wanted to rush. After 10 more minutes, she just started taking our plates away and cleaning the table when we weren't done eating yet. I thought that was pretty rude. read more

Only complaint would be the Diesel exhaust from a truck parked outside, wafted in while we were chatting after we ate. Would have sucked if that was going on during our meal.
