Went in to have a rim changed was told it was 25 dollars after tire was put on rim owner told me it was 35 dollars the owner is very rude

On July 8, I towed my car off at this shop for an EPS light concern (my steering wheel wouldn't turn). After having my car for a week, no one called or gave any update regarding my car. July 16, I went up there to see what was going on, they explained to me that they are having a hard time finding the correct part for my car (electric steering pump) however they will call me when they find it. Also, they explained that the only problem with my car is the electric steering pump, after tearing my steering wheel down. Another goes by, no call or any update (July23) , so I call again, they explained that they found a part and will work on the repair Friday July 23. They called me and stated that my car was ready for pickup, I get there, they tell me that my steering wheel will make a click noise every time I turn because my "steering wheel is worn out". Even though, this clicking noise wasn't present before the repair, so how all of a sudden, it's worn out now ??? I paid $1,400 for an EPS repair and front-end alignment, but left with a new clicking noise in my steering wheel that was never there before. The clicking happens every time I turn the wheel, both while parked and driving, and I can feel it through the steering wheel. I felt unsatisfied after leaving because I had a huge concern that maybe something wasn't done right during the reassembly. When I brought the car back, the mechanics were completely dismissive. Instead of inspecting the vehicle or trying to determine why this new issue started immediately after the repair, they simply claimed my steering wheel was "worn out" and needed to be replaced. This was never mentioned during the original diagnosis, despite the steering system being taken apart for the repair. I expected much better customer service after spending $1,400. Rather than taking my concerns seriously, they refused to properly inspect the vehicle and left me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I now have to seek another repair for my vehicle through someone else all because they lack customer service skills and seem very scamful! They don't just have tires they fix tires for you too. They are fast and cheap! They even have some used tires too if you are on a budget.

The prices are reasonable and they do good work. What I do t like is that they charge a fee if you use your card. So bring cash if possible

This Tire Shop is very horrible just sold me a tire for $150 drove down the street and it was already on flat came back to get it fixed they told me I have to pay a additional $15 for them to fix the flat right after selling me the tire bad customer service and trying to scam people is not good. They purposely mess up your car so you can keep coming back I did not even get a block away before my tire was the best up and for them to charge me again after I just left is ridiculous do not go here horrible service will tell you anything to get your money read more

My tire was low. I was on the south side. I decided to drive and looked for the first tire shop I could find. Luckily, I immediately came across Armando's Tire Shop which is conveniently located on Torrence as you make your way from 103rd to 106th. I had to wait 10 minutes because they do a brisk business. It was a cold winters day, so I joined the masses huddled around a kerosene heater inside. My tire was promptly fixed. And the price? $10.00 (plus tip, of course). The hardest part? Writing the Yelp review. I guess I am the first reviewer so I had to manually enter all the info about the place. Other random comments about my trip south: * I learned Mexican Inn has closed. * I did not have a chance to pick up any tamales, apple fritters or wings. I dont like the fact the owner likes to think women dont know anything about cars. My dad had my tire replaced by this shop a week prior for it only to suddenly start going flat. A week later when my son was driving the tire,yet again starting going low. The shop guys convinced my son to buy another tire when in fact my dad just purchased one a week prior. When I got the car, the car started squeaking bad. Meaning they shifted something. When i went back to have them fix it, he has the nerve to tell me rubber dont squeak. Really!? Wow ! Blew my mind what this guy was telling me. So i told him to take the tire off and make sure they didnt move anything or shift anything. Then he told me I might need my rotors replaced.....really!? Cuz i just had them replaced 2 days ago from the dealer if you see. Then he told me the rotors are squeaking because my rotor is turning purple!? Wtf. I am really convinced they screwed up something so i can dish out money to have them fix it? Never again at this shop. The owner loves to talk to women like they dont know anything....little does he know im a marine mechanic parts person.so ladies word of advice dont ask ,TELL them you want to see what they did to your car before you pay for anything and i mean any little thing. read more

Had tires mounted and balanced. Looked on tirerack.com and they were a recommended installer. Price was $72 and change on their website. Got there and they started and I asked them to confirm price and they said $110. What a ripoff. Made a bunch of senseless excuses. Also scratched rims mounting new tires. Do not go there. read more

paid over $2,000 for my car to be fixed just for it to not be fixed correctly.. everything they was suppose to fix is on a diagnostic from another repair shop.. brakes was squeaking after a week. car wobble if i try to go over 60mph that was not even doing that before i took them my car.. tires keep busting.. first and last time getting work done here.. i already feel like they cheated me anyway with the price but of course females get cheated when it come down to the car stuff.. i dont recommend this place at all. even bought 2 tires.. of course they get kept going flat and one finally just blew out at 2am on my way from work.. trash trash trash waste of money and time. now im out of $2000+ and car still not fixed.. if you cant do the work just say that. it's not cool to take ppl money.. read more

I'd becareful here, the told me they would sell me a New tire for 180.00 installed I had a bigger size tire, a lady rolled up in a small car with a smaller size tire and the kid told her she needed a new tire and could sell her one for 180.00 too,! Big or small all there new tires are 180.00. read more

Love these guys! After a while, I've gotten to know them pretty well. Not only do they fix tires, but they also have a few mechanics there to work on almost any car repair needs. I usually take my car here when it needs something replaced or fixed. They always get it done right. Plus, they've got great deals on tires. read more

Traveling on the city streets of Chicago can be a nightmare, potholes, broken pavement, or in my case a chunk of concrete that probably fell off a truck onto I94. In a blink I blewout the sidewalls of my right two tires. I called Allstate to see if they could arrange a tow and to point me towards a close tire shop. Allstate recommended Armando's strictly based on how close they were to where my blowouts occured. Usually I take my car to one of the discount tire chains, Armando's is not that type of place. Its a small shop packed to the gills with the tools of the trade and tires. Juan (Armando's grandson) took a quick look at my damaged tires, let me know what I already knew they could not be saved then went back into the shop to see what he had in stock. I did not want used tires, and unfortunately there was only one new tire option that the shop had on hand for my Subaru. Juan quoted a price, then offered me a bit of a discount if I had all 4 tires replaced. Ive been told that with AWD you should really replace all the tires at the same time, so we went with the deal offered. The price including labor was quite a few dollars cheaper than it cost me the last time I had my tires replace at one of the "discount" tire places. As for the service, Juan and his coworkers had all 4 tires replaced and me on my way in 30 minutes. Very freindly guys, who didnt wait around for someone to tell them what to do. (big difference from the discount chains where you wonder if the kid working on your car would be able to successfully unscrew a lug nut without adult supervision). that old story dont judge a book by its cover deffo refers to this place, it may not look like a modern tire shop, but they got the work done faster, cheaper, and had me on my way not thinking I had just been taken for my last dime. I took my truck here with a great impression the first time when I took my car here. I came to get a few stuff done that needed to be done was a tire rod and wheel bearing and etc, put it like this I nearly spend 800$ that day. Next day I tried to get on the expressway I was almost in a car accident because the ABS, stabilitrak sensor has been turned off and my traction lights were all on and my speed didn't go past 40, imagine that in the expressway. It was already late to take it to the shop so I waiting the next morning all for them to tell me, we only do the job you came to do, the new parts won't work with the old one, so went back to change the Hub Bearing for an additional 190 and I was told they are doing me a favor because the job nearly cost 300$ with labor. .. it was driving for a couple weeks with no problem. And then here it goes again now the rear hub bearing is having an issue.. there goes another 200 and sum dollars just to fix it... if I can curse I would. But this was outrageous, I tried to support my local community business all for what to be ripped offf.. read more
