July 16, I went up there to see what was going on, they explained to me that they are having a hard time finding the correct part for my car (electric steering pump) however they will call me when they find it. Also, they explained that the only problem with my car is the electric steering pump, after tearing my steering wheel down. Another goes by, no call or any update (July23) , so I call again, they explained that they found a part and will work on the repair Friday July 23. They called me and stated that my car was ready for pickup, I get there, they tell me that my steering wheel will make a click noise every time I turn because my "steering wheel is worn out". Even though, this clicking noise wasn't present before the repair, so how all of a sudden, it's worn out now ??? I paid $1,400 for an EPS repair and front-end alignment, but left with a new clicking noise in my steering wheel that was never there before. The clicking happens every time I turn the wheel, both while parked and driving, and I can feel it through the steering wheel. I felt unsatisfied after leaving because I had a huge concern that maybe something wasn't done right during the reassembly. When I brought the car back, the mechanics were completely dismissive. Instead of inspecting the vehicle or trying to determine why this new issue started immediately after the repair, they simply claimed my steering wheel was "worn out" and needed to be replaced. This was never mentioned during the original diagnosis, despite the steering system being taken apart for the repair. I expected much better customer service after spending $1,400. Rather than taking my concerns seriously, they refused to properly inspect the vehicle and left me feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. I now have to seek another repair for my vehicle through someone else all because they lack customer service skills and seem very scamful! How can you not look at paying customer's on a vehicle you worked on !!!????

My AAA - freakin useless, my liberty mutual roadside - useless, called every tow company, tire shop and roadside service in eastern Iowa, and in Illinois... not like we were in the middle of nowhere. Found one roadside that would bring a spare tire but they wanted $1,000 card hold..... We spoke to 30+ different places within that hour... Tires24 was literally the only place somewhat on the way that was open late. Someone answered right away, the guy on phone was patient and nice, assured us he would take us, even though we couldn't get there until right before closing because we had to drive below speed limit on the donut. When we got there, Lamont (the gentleman working) greeted us and understood and sympathized with our stressful trip there. He replaced the tire efficiently and was super professional and welcoming. The cost was surprisingly affordable, we weren't there very long at all which was great because we were exhausted. Lamont saved our asses and we highly recommend anyone in the NW illinois area call these guys first for tire and auto issues.

The engine itself only cost $2,500-$3000, so this company was attempting to charge me $10,000+ in labor and taxes. I have the estimate as proof! I am very well educated in automotive repair and it does not cost $13k to replace an engine on a vehicle with a 3.6 engine. The normal price range is $4k-$5500. I'm not sure if this was racially motivated but I will never visit this company or refer anyone to this company! Sheisters!!!
