The tire wouldn't hold air, and Pacheco's was nearby, so I stopped in. I was told the tire couldn't be repaired, which I understood. They said they had one tire in my size, used, for $80. Given the situation, I felt pressured but went ahead with it. To be fair, the tire was a Continental and appeared to be in very good condition--solid tread, no visible issues. I was even told that this tire was "gold," hard to come by, and that I had lucked out. Three days later, I decided to replace all four tires at another shop. Since Pacheco's had spoken so highly of the tire they sold me, I figured I'd sell it back. When I returned, I was told to speak with the owner. That's where things took a turn. The owner looked at the tire and said he would give me $5, claiming it wasn't perfect and that they have plenty of these in stock. That directly contradicted everything I was told just days earlier. When I questioned it, the response was essentially "$5 or nothing." So which is it? A rare, valuable tire--or one worth five bucks? I walked away disappointed and honestly disgusted by the dishonesty. I kept the tire as a spare since it's apparently "not perfect." This kind of inconsistency and misrepresentation is not good business practice, especially when someone is already dealing with an emergency. I hope others pay close attention. Don't take advantage of customers in vulnerable situations, and don't say one thing only to completely reverse it later. Trust matters.

An elderly Mexican man said my tire was no good and tried to sell me a tire. I just wanted the tire plugged. I told him I was going to buy tires later but not from his shop. He became angry and told my to leave the shop and don't come back. I'm a senior citizen, army disabled veteran and African American. Again he just went off! I suspect he was angry because an old woman didn't go along with his manipulation. I paid $20 for the tire plug after talking to a younger Hispanic male at the shop. If you are female be aware that this shop may discriminate and try to manipulate you to buy a tire if you come there to merely have a potential flat fixed. NOT PLEASE AT HOW I WAS TREATED!

It should not have taken 4 back to back visits to finally get satisfaction which was the return of my money. 1st visit - tire low, nail in it, employee patched it without removing the tire. 2nd visit on same day - same tire low again, Boss man had employee take it off this time, told me I actually needed a new one- no problem. 3rd visit - ABS and traction symbol on dash, car wobble when driving, employee tells me it's not the tire and ABS is about my air conditioning system. I could've even replaced it with another good used tire but when he became a walking smart ass, I was done and just wanted my money back. Hell even an employee was like "Yea it wasn't me...go off on them!" I was upset about the tire situation but I never became disrespectful to him or any of his employees. I can appreciate the fact that although I went to several spots in the area, all I kept hearing was your mom needs a new tire rim for her car. When I came here the owner said just brim in your car and I'll check it out. Well he had his guys take out the tire and check it. Needless to say he said that he could fix the air leak and not have to change the rim at all. Just sand it down and re-seal it. This is what he did and let me tell you, his honestly just saved me tons of money. He also checked the true pressure for each tire and he re adjusted the air pressure to fit the climate. Now that's what I call real honesty and I have an appointment to bring in another one of my vehicles so that he orders a tire that I need. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who has fire problems, before going to a much more expensive place. I am glad I followed my gut and came here.
